Logs
I suspect this one has disappearedcame back on the advice of a previous finder and no sign of it unfortunately.
Area full of barbed wire, prickly dried blackberry branches, fallen timber and vast quantities of dried leaves. After a few spikes from the blackberry branches decided it wasn't worth the pain of more spikes for a cache with a broken container and potentially a log that couldn't be signed as it was still reporting maintenance required.
#4357 Another stop off on the loop and a quick find at GZ.The container has seen better days and the log was almost unsignable.Replaced as found for the next intrepid traveller.
Straightforward find in the most plausible location. Wasn't able to sign as long is drenched - the cache has no lid at present. Providing a picture to confirm the find.

Easy find even with the blackberries. Lid is missing from container and it is full of spiders.
I've got too much overtime, so I took the day off and am perusing this part of Jerrabomberra Wetlands. I have never been here. Usually I go birdwatching in the other part.
Quick find of the cache itself, but the only contents were some sleepy slugs.
I turfed out the slugs and added my ReturnIt receipt inside a used ziplock bag.

**This one needs some TLC**
19/12/21: With my final chance to attend one last event (not including my CITO) before the end of the year, I decided on taking it. So after church today, I headed over to Canberra to attend it as well as find some caches around the around the area. The event was great fun and all the Geo-talk was great as well. Afterwards, I (and others) found a few nearby caches before we headed off. KFC for dinner tonight sounds great.
20/12/21: I wasn't prepared for today's caching adventures. Snakes, mud, damaged containers, dodgy coordinates (mainly due to tree cover), DNF's and issues with geo-apps, were all had today. My first cache I attempted was where I encountered the snakes, walking through knee high grass didn't help. No, I didn't find the cache, even though I was at GZ for 20 minutes waiting for it to be safe. Once it was, I moved on. I then found a couple of nearby caches before heading to lunch. After lunch I learnt about 'Palmerville Village' before leaving Canberra. After that, I found the next lot of caches in the Flags of the world series before heading home. A great couple of days out but now time to rest up for four massive days at work (leading into Christmas).
TB visit. I would like to thank all CO's of the caches I found and for allowing them to bring enjoyment to the caching community. TFTE and TFTC's!

Fast retrieval, nice clear area to search. Cache log could do with a replacement as people are using parking receipts to sign their names on... TFTC
A nice quick find today. With some very interesting history nearby. TFTC
A cool location and an easy find however this cache needs some love as the bag is torn and the log is wet. Also the lid will need replacing too. TFTC
Fourth of 14 finds on a morning walk through the wetlands and around the lake. A quick find by enzo at the GZ, but this cache is in pretty bad condition and needs some love. We will log a needs maintenance. This was a busy strip of road this morning so we signed and returned between passing walkers and cyclists. TNLNSL TFTC
One of many finds today while walking around Canberra. The weather is starting to get cold which is making me feel a bit blue, but a good walk warmed me up in no time.
A straightforward find while doing an AL in the area. Signed the parking ticket which is currently functioning as the log. Thanks.
Riding with Jondub around the wetlands and Kingston foreshore. This one had thorns and mosquitoes TFTC
Second day of caching in Canberra this weekend. Weather looks a lot better then yesterday. With that said the bike came out if the car so I didn't drag it along the whole way for nothing. Lots of caches found again, thanks to all for hiding. Also made good progress towards a few goals.

When I saw where this one was leading us I thought "Oh no". I don't have much success with these ones but it turned out much easier than I thought it would be.

Woo hoo! Another nemisis cache bites the dust! This time care of K8tybee.
Cache needs a bit of love. Otherwise all good. Out on the hunt for some exercise (and the odd cache) with GLISS! And K8tybee Tftc

Out and about with Nibletricecakes and k8tybee. This was the 2nd nemesis cache and was quickly found. cache container needs some tlc. The log was waterlogged, so we added an old parking ticket with our names. TFTC
Log was gross and manky as the cache was at some point filled with water. Easy enough to find with GLISS! and Nibletricecakes as we maintained our appropriate social distancing. TFTC
The Rats was after a roadtrip to gather a few more numbers to the caching tally so off we went down to Canberra for an overnight trip- plenty of caches found and these days also plenty of labs located. Some nice pleasant weather and plenty of finds.

Decided to get out and do a bit of caching with steeba before the nation was locked down with COVID-19 or any other pandemic the government throws up. As good compliant citizens we kept out distance from others as we moved through the burbs finding a plethora of caches over a 36 hour period.
This one needs some owner maintenance, cache lid is gone and cache was full of water
Thanks to all the CO's for placing the caches we found. This may be our last finds for a few months LOL

Along the sprinters track heading to coffee in Kingston. Cache dry even with lid missing tftc
A quick find after a nice stroll. TNLN TFTC
Lid is separated from container. The joys of this type of container sadly!

Geohubby is making a habit of finding these....me thinks he should have his own account found quickly on a lovely winter Sunday afternoon. TFTC.
Mission today with fitzy_1965 and GSC2000 was to do the three current Adventure Labs.
Took the long walk down the road to get one of the lab entries and grabbed 3 trads along the way. This was the second. Another trip through the brambles.....but found quickly. Lid has broken off but can still be left in place.

Wanting to complete the new lab caches in Canberra, I headed to the area. Whilst completing them, I looked for some nearby caches. I was glad to spot this one from afar, as there are so many spots to search in here! Thanks for placing the cache quigonowl.
The brambles won this round. K8tybee and I retreated bloodied and bruised. Will be back another day. I think daylight will help Tftc
Found with gwd.aussie while in Canberra/Queanbeyan for the Clear Waters Mega. With so many caches in the area and only 6 days we both had a list of caches we hoped to get. This one on my list as it filled a gap n my Hidden Date Calendar.
We certainly took this cache name to heart. Arriving at the GZ just as it started to pour rain it was thankful that we were able to quickly find and sign the log but then we were literally Dairy Sprinters as we raced back to the car.
Thanks quigonowl

After parking, we walked the 600 meter to the cache.
Just before arriving at ground zero, it the rain started.
With no good cover from the rain, we rung back to the car.
(after find abd signig the cache, of course)
We could just walk, we were just wet to the bone
Found with D@geo while attending the Clear Water Mega in Queanbeyan.
Thank you for the hide quigonowl

The Dairy Sprinters were out in force here today [:o]
I expected them to be a bit older and ride larger bikes,
and without training wheels
Meanwhile, while the kids wobbled around on their bikes,
I headed in to do battle with the briars !!
Well at least there was a well trodden path to GZ [^]

Found with GeorgieClare. Great hiding spot. Our pencil broke, so I’ve taken a photo of the log as evidence. TFTC.
A quick find with The Farmers 5, We were in the area for a nearby FTF and since this was only 160 meters out of the way we both could not resist.
Thanks for the cache quigonowl.

I cycled into town to attend the remembrance day ceremony, and on my return journey collected a few more caches around the east side of the lake.
I rarely come around this side, but it sire is popular with cyclists! Fortunately the cache is well hidden from their view.

Found out and about with Kittykatch on a pretty nice winter day. Lovely walk and nice area. TFTC
Despite being in the obvious spot, we hunted around for a bit before finally locating. Plenty of blackberry thorns here as a trap for the unwary too. Thanks quigonowl
Missed it the first time, emerged and went back in for a better look. Found it plus can confirm the very active European wasp nest within 2m of cache. Felt a wretched sting on the lower calf and skedaddled out of there - whew - it was only a blackberry thorn! TFTC
Found @ 1:48pm on a three-cache BRun, this was the second of the three
This took longer that it should have considering my GPSr put me right on top of the cache!
I can also attest to the thorns, drawing blood in four or five spots. There's also an active wasps near the trail I took in.
Thanks quigonowl

The cache was located in good condition though the berries are beginning to take over. It was a bit of a struggle getting away from the thorns. Cache is in good condition.

I had to go to Fyshwick today so I was looking for a few caches to do on the way there or back, these ones on dairy flat road are perfect and fit my needs perfectly.
Its been a long time since I drove on this road, a very long time, maybe 20 years! The road itself is in OK shape but it has some strange things blocking traffic for some reason, I guess otherwise some might use this road for drag racing.
There certainly are a lot of brambles done here... they are everywhere and they look super juicy, I think I might come back o the weekend with the geokids as we love picking and then jam making.
I was having pen issues again... damn thing wouldn't write so I was left leaving an impression of my name and date with just a few bits of ink here and there!
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

After finding a cache nearby I decided to venture further up the road to get this one too. Absolutely perfect timing for this cache - the surrounding blackberries are at their peak - and the best I have found this year. Nice & big & sweet & juicy. Interestingly the ones across the road are nowhere near as good - I think the shaded area has an impact - plus casual passersby wouldn't realise there are even blackberries here. I spent a good 30min feasting & just regretted not bringing a container. The cows across the road were making a lot of noise as they were also munching on the long grass. I will have to return again at the same time next year!
Hot day out caching with runner5ive. Hoped to do the Madura cycle path but I decided not to due to the lack of trees and the heat so went looking for some others. Hope we survive the rest of the day!
A snake scared us away from getting this one

Out for an afternoon stroll and caching with Coybear2000 around the Jerrabomberra wetlands.
There were no pushbike sprinters about this afternoon, but there was one on a dirt bike. He passed us as we were searching and later appeared on the other side of the fence as we were replacing the find. Doubt that he even noticed us. TFTC.

Short stroll from previous cache. Arrived GZ and started searching, looked up and had confirmation this was the spot. CIH after short search. Log signed and returned. TFTC

Like lots of other people have said, what should be a very easy and straightforward find with accurate coordinates turned into a bit of a scramble in circles. The GPS initially led me right ontop of GZ but after a quick look of not seeing the cache I expanded around what I thought was more obvious locations.
I eventually came back and gave myself a head slap when I saw it hiding amongst the leaves. Ahhhh how did I miss THAT?
Thanks for the cache A decent walk from the parking area

I decided to come for an early morning paddle (yes, it WAS about minus 5 this morning - lol) and then come and find these couple of caches... I ended up finding a bonus 3rd one - noticed a Munzee and went looking for more... one was IN a cache... except the cache had recently been replaced and the Munzee hadn't... I am now sitting on a random clump of grass on the riverbank (down closer to the lake) logging on my phone before paddling off to the pirate event - lol
TFTC - this was the second one I found... Had a quick look, didn't see it, decided to read the listing/check hint... Oh... No hint... But i didn't need one - ducked back in and found it straight away
... I must have left my brain in neutral when I switched it back from "Munzee mode" lol
