Found this with Morgo the Geo during a lovely weekend away in Broken Hill. We did Parkrun and some touristy activities like the Mad Max Museum and the old Gaol in Silverton. TFTC!
Heading home and avenged a fail from last time. Using the hint, I was looking and looking and the CR_ called found it away from the sign.In Broken Hill for the weekend for parkrun with Sandyofthesea and CourtneyRose_. We managed to find a few caches too.honeysucker, I found What State am I in now #4 today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
Brad and Janet are on another epic trip. This time across South Australia to Broken Hill. Then through central and Northern NSW and up into Qld where we will be picking up a new hybrid house-on-wheels. Then we will head south down through more of NSW via Sydney to catch up with B2. Then further south until we get into Victoria from where we will head back into South Australia. Along the way we will grab caches of opportunity. Like this one. We think we have found a few of these now.TFTC honeysucker
Making our way towards home over the next few weeks travelling with 2 dogs and a cat we have found caching a great way to give the fur babies a break. Stopped in Broken Hill for a few days and toured around with the help of local geocachers taking us to spots that locals know about. Thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining
Another long trip around AU over the top end with lots of detours. Now heading back east across the Nullarbor with a stop at Maralinga, Ceduna, Lincoln National Park, Coober Pedy, Oodnadatta, Broken Hill & Orange.TFTC. Nice quick stop.
Great Question! What state am I in now? I've passed through a few in the past few months of being on the road. Got to love a state border sign along the way! ThankfullyI'm not vertically challenged for where this was located on the ground! After a long period of outback, yesterday we turned east at Port Augusta and enjoyed lush greenery and gumtrees of the lower Flinders Rangers as we passed through. Quite a contrast. Having travelled late, we arrived in Manna Hill last night to stay in their towns rest area. Waking to another very different scenery of flat dry country in a little town passed by most travellers, so many trucks, and the odd train. Goats! I love these tiny litte feral goats, it's great to see them as we drive past, yes, the little things amuse me! Took time exploring towns as we passed. Broken Hill kept us way longer than intended or we had time gor, but just made the time. And it was HOT!!! Only 30C but a different heat, still nicer than cold though! We pushed on late into the night, Nyngan was our limit and had a great rest stop facility in town. A good place to stop after a long but great day, thanks fir your cache!
I had to come out from token Hill so I could grab these 2 in South Australia. All is good the hint threw me but it is in the most obvious location Thanks for maintaining this one
Found with Loopy1972 on our half lap of Australia via Darwin, QLD and NSW. Thanks honeysucker maintenance by farmer--brown for the cache.
Found with DennisC52 while on our half lap of Australia. Thanks (owner) for the cache.
First SA cache!!! Or is it NSW???? Who knows but either way the cache is in good condition. TFTC
Quick easy find and a photo as we enter back into SA from our Towoomba road trip! Number 200 for us! Tftc.
A quick stop on the border for a photo opportunity and also a quick little hide while we were here. Quickly located and names added. TFTC
I was passing through with an oversize load. While pulled up here waiting for the NSW police escort I grabbed this geo. Great little town, reminiscent of years gone by. TFTC
Been working around Canungra for a couple of months and on the road back home to Manda in Adelaide. Was raining too much to hop out when I went past a while back so stopped here for a quick cache grab on the way past. The hint threw me off track for a little while. TFTC
Travelled to South Australia to get this cache. No souvenir involved as I already have it but good to be able to visit the state in 2024, even if only for a few minutes.
Simple findAcross the border is a long way from home.Make sure you visit the pub.
#799 ~ Stopped to take proof I was entering SA The hint didnt really make sense for where the cache was located. But I found it and signed the log. My first SA cache TFTC honeysucker!!
Quick stop for some photos, signed but quickly kept moving due to the flies.TFTC
This was the first find for bunadoorian and I since we left Broken Hill this morning.. I am picking up new LGA's for a challenge cache in SA. This cache was our first in SA today!! TFTC and for bringing us here honeysucker.
I found the hint distracting but Grub62 was on the ball and found the cache. TFTC.
We are one our way to Adelaide for the leap Year Mega. After an early start from our overnight accommodation, we set off to find the caches on our target list. All caches were found and signed as "5 for QLD" for our traveling group of hatzofff (myself), RoddyC, Imbunda, Snickersallan and grannysmith1947.Our fifth day on the road and we finally reach South Australia, heading to our overnight before tomorrow's huge effort on the On You Bike caches.
An early morning start after our overnight stay. I am traveling with my friends, hatzofff, RoddyC, Snickersallan and grannysmith1947. We are signing all logs as "5 for QLD" to save space. All caches were found, signed and replaced as foundToday we will finally arrive in South Australia. I am quite excited - first time here.
A Leap Year Mega draws us to Adelaide. Today's our intrepid group arrives in South AustraliaWe are using the Acronym 6 for QLD to sign the log sheets. Most of the caches this day were nice quick finds. And so happily I say that the logs were signed and caches replaced as found on this day, 27th February 2024. TFTC, honeysucker maintenance by farmer--brown.
Three states in one day ! Yay. Stuck a trackable Iamapom One Legged Geocaching sticker at the bottom of the left post - please discover if you like. Found by iamapom at 14:56 on 27/12/2023. Thanks to honeysucker for the Traditional. This is Iamapoms find number 2763. Greetings from Melbourne Australia.
Day 4 of the road trip. Still brought to you by goats and emus. Lots of birds to dodge today too. I know what state I am in, but I am confused about the time. Car says 5:45, phone says 6:45 and GPSr says 6:15. Going wiht the GPSr as the correct time Read the hint and had a look, no idea what I was going to do if it was where the hint suggested. Did not see anything, so read some logs. Much easier find and suitable to the D/T rating.
Continuing my adventure, this morning I headed west to try to find a cache in another LGA. This was the first cache of the morning. After looking where the hint indicated that the cache may be and not finding it, I read a few previous logs. Seems that the hint no longer applies. I expanded my search and soon spotted the cache. With my name added to the log and everything returned as found, I continued on my way. TFTC
Okay, what time is it now? Tftc! Im on the home stretch after a road trip covering 4 states!
#517 1:54 pmInteresting stickers all over the sign I added one more to the mixture. Found in over 50km per hour wind. Fav point from me. Thanks for placing this cache honeysucker

Freddo and Team Waldron headed to warmer climes around Broken Hill, Cobar, Bourke, Cunnamulla
and Charleville.
After a cold start in Broken Hill the weather improved once we got further north. Sadly our last night in Broken was wet which, pardon the pun, put a dampener on things.
All up it was a great week away and lots of caches were found with only 3 dnfs.
Thanks to all who placed and maintained their caches. The occasional cache was damaged and we refurbished it and we also left new logbooks as required.
Back in SA now.

Woo hoo definitely the most exciting one of these we’ve found hahah thank you
Coordes were spot on. Now to see if I get a souvenir for being a state I haven’t been in before. TFTC
We are both rather short and then read the hint.
We struggled for a while, went off to another cache,
came back and finally found the prize. A fave point
from us for the challenge.
Thanks honesucker and farmer--brown

On the way to Burra with Trodectus. Stopped near GZ and quickly had CIH. Log signed and returned. TFTC
Found with Coybear2000. We were driving from Broken Hill to Burra, SA, and we stopped to do some caches on the way. We parked near GZ and walked and C quickly had cache in hand. Log signed and all replaced and neither of us were in any state of trepidation as we headed off for the next find. TFTC.
We continued today our tour in NewSouthWales, AUS, and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.
The weather was - said in one word – simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood.
The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging.
This time we were in SA!
Thanks to honeysucker maintenance by farmer--brown for the generation of this nice cache What State am I in now #4 (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.
PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they appeared.
Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood.

We are on our way to the Rutherglen Mega. Today's journey takes us from Broken Hill to Peterborough. When we first arrived in Broken Hill the Caravan Park was packed as the races were on, but today with high temperatures expected soon, the CP looked deserted! We had a good time in Broken Hill but our departure was not smooth. Our pump on our water in the camper had not worked since Qld. As we were filling up with diesel, a great flush of water cascaded down giving the attendant a fright. We must have a connection problem and the pump turned on and bust a fitting. I think that is now the 5th problem we've had, I'm hoping for no more!
We travelled along the highway sometimes stopping in time for the cache sometimes not as our attention was elsewhere. Workmen were at one GZ. Then as time went on we skipped a few.
Sadly this one eluded us.

Woohoo..on our way to Perth WA from Brisbane. Ticking off caches as we go.

Found on way back home to Sydney. I Love getting photos of border crossings. Honeybee Geocoin and Geocaching NSW coins visited.
Headed in a different direction for the weekend with Purrfect Di. Saw some sights, took some pictures, spotted your cache!
Well actually we spotted two ! ! !
There was the really very obviously original cache with most of the logs in and placed as per hint just out of reach... and there was another fake throw down on the ground.
To save confusion... as everyone is in a state of confusion here... and to help our friendly CO, we moved the logs together into the real cache and replaced it. Will recycle the throwdown cache into a nice new one somewhere too. That's gotta be worth a rum sometime
Now we are in a state of nirvana and happiness from spreading happy caching karma [:o)]
So off we go to find more - in another state
Thanks honeysucker for locating and maintaining this cache on our ever growing Aussie geo-map

Hiking and driving around wherever we can - searching, spotting strange items and signing cache logs using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S21u, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just a guyess or plain old dumb luck
Plenty of the luck stuff actually !!!
*All the online logs are composed and published with GSAK of course.*

Danger! Caching is a very hazardous activity!
Look out for sand, mud, floodwaters, snakes, surprise cliffs, roos, wombats, things falling from trees, bulldust, and floods, and try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall off your ladder...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- and do watch out for bugs !!! . [xx(]
Make Travel Bugs the Only bugs you share and pass on (Covid cancels caching!)
Keep a safe distance - cache the countryside
Heaps good of all those placing quality caches out and about around the country areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting
Much appreciate you reading all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, apparently! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and we can put an end to these long logs !!!
C'est Fini.

Great Northern escape 2022 Day 175. Wilcannia to Olary via Broken Hill. This was another day of driving, with no real targets. I stopped in Broken hill after driving straight from Wilcannia to do the LAB set and a cache or two. I also picked up a few supplies before proceeding. I stopped a little earlier than planned as there was a nice town with a open rest area.
Last time I was here there were border checks of some sort going on, long before covid, so I was not able to do this cache, today there were only muggles taking border images, so when they were done, I pulled in for an image and then located this cache. The opposite of vertically challenged these days.
Thanks for the cache honeysucker

A photo opportunity and a cache to complete. Heading into SA.. Thanks honeysucker and farmer-brown.
I found the base of the container but not the rest, I had a spare top that fit so I popped a log in it and have let the CO know. I was amazed to get Optus coverage here!
Short drive to the border from Broken Hill to grab this cache. Lucky had my son who could reach this one. TFTC.
The cache was found at ground level, uhm, is the hint referring to the issue that some of us have trouble bending or to the fact that some of us are a little on the short side. We replaced the cache where we found it. By the way, we believe that we identify as confused as our state. SL TFTC
Lucky my other half is taller than me
Log is full , Border Gate Cafe do a great burger

Quick and easy find after all the muggles left.
No space on the log so didn’t sign it

Fun, adventure, travel, history, geology, mental stimulation, social gatherings, support and friendship are just some of the elements of geocaching.
Out and about enjoying the opportunity to grab a few caches, yours being one of those I targeted on my journey today. Thanks ??
Thanks honeysucker (F=17425 H=161) for placing this cache and adding to our game.

This seems like a very good name for a cache from this CO. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find.
We are making our way to the Townsville Mega with geoturtle 37 , Papi4056 and micaparamedic where possible using adventure labs as our guide as we all enjoy them.
Heading to Broken Hill to grab the lab there after a slight change of plans we couldn't help but to do a quick detour to find this one.
Due to a change of plans we are now traveling on a different road than what we thought we would be on today.
As the CO knows this group is nearly always in a state of confusion and as we stole a bottle of rum from him the other day we were a bit more confused than normal but even in this confused state we know that we haven't left SA yet so are confusion is not so confusing.
The cache itself took a little while to locate because we think the CO was a little confused with his hint.
Many thanks honeysucker for the break in our drive.
