we are a bit on the shortish side and I saw that MattyRX couldnt find it either so I knew we didnt stand a chance. Next bit of TOTT collapsible ladder....TFTC
Ducked into the rest area today to buy a coffee, and had a look for this cache. Looked up and around, and made a bit of a monkey of myself Unfortunately I didn't find it though.
Thought it would be an easy find but nothing to be seen. No muggles around at the time. Hopefully not snatched by them already. Will try again another time..
Heading back home (down south) and stopped for a cup of tea. A quick find, thanks WaldenClan.
Muggles galore. Easy find even for an old girl like me. TFTC The road trip with Severus105 continues!
Sat down while Kjxx did the climbing and a muggle happily reading his book didn’t even notice us geocaching. TFTC

There were quite a few muggles here when we arrived today, but fortunately they were all down the other end near the coffee van and not in the immediate vicinity of GZ. Think we should have travelled the extra 10 kms to this stop last night as it was further off the highway and less traffic noise than Sleepy Hollow Southbound where we stayed.
A quick find was made here in the obvious place.
Thanks.

Thanks.
My young son was really wanting to do a geocache today so we upgraded to have access to this one.. made our way down here. Did lots of climbing and finally we spotted it. We couldn't see it from the ground so had to do LOTS of climbing. Very happy when we spotted the tiny cache. Thanks very much.
Bit of a hard find even though it shouldn’t have been. Co-ords were a bit off and we were wandering around a tree on the other side of GZ for a while until reading previous logs pointing us to the other side. Once there it was a quick and easy find. Tftc
Out today with Jacko2484 and BenFolds7. Part of helping our teen get his 120 hours on L-plate. Down to Brunswick for breakfast and then on way home looking for some caches close to M1. Coords are out for us and took us away from GZ. Looked at all the obvious places even with the 61 yo attempting a brief tree climb (rolling my eyes)! Had to sit and think (and patiently wait for muggle to finish his lunch) and then GZ was in our hands. Thank goodness for tall teen.

Just one more. I did not intend to stop here today. I have stopped here many times in the past and there has always been festy travellers near GZ.
My trip today brought me around the back of the rest area and I was in need more than one of the facilities here. Mmmm coffee.
The area was surprisingly quiet for school holidays. No cars at all near GZ. Just a few up near the coffee van and a couple of caravans that way too.
I new where the cache was from previous visits, so it was a quick grab.
Nice to finally be able to log this one.

I was traveling from my parents in the Tweed Valley to Coffs Harbour for a work meeting. They had a medical appointment so after morning tea I was on the road by 11:30. I had three goals today - all of which were achieved. Get 12 caches to get me to 2000 (it is a game of numbers really); extend my caches further east; and finally get my maximum number of "counties" greater than 4 (I had calculated that I could get 6 today). Had a rough plan and got a few extra to add, so in the end got 16 caches of 3 types (plus a couple of unregistered DNFs) and got the 6 LGAs and arrived before dark. Not certain I will get any more in Coffs tomorrow, but also picked up a couple of TBS as well (always a nice bonus).
Looked from the ground and was pretty certain I knew where I had to be. Waited until most people were away from the area (particularly the grey hair in the Apollo Van) and up I went. Probed both sides and there it was. Down to the ground signed and then up again in a break in traffic and returned - maybe a bit closer to the spider webs than originally placed but in the same general vicinity. Then on my way south - first one in Byron Shire for this trip.

ravelling south and picking up the odd cache here and there, along with goingplaces2. Put our names on each log found and then everything went back as found. TFTC.
Heading south on our way home, along with ilook4geo and we made a stop here to pick up this cache. Plenty of overnight campers, but far enough away to not be a problem. The cache was retrieved, log was signed and all was put back into place without raising suspicion. Many thanks go to WaldenClan for placing this cache and we were glad we arrived at a time when it was not very busy.
Heading home from Lismore after a CITO this afternoon, and we're grabbing some caches along the way. This was the last for the day and was a quick park n grab.

Thank you to my geo husband the cache was found. Yes, it is a busy rest area. A friend from Ocean Shores took us to the sights around here and I think she was impressed by Geoing. Maybe have a new person on board. TFTC
What a great service from the driver reviver teams. Stopped for tea and a biscuit. Cache was an added bonus. TFTC
So busy at this rest area. So many muggles around. Had to wait for a break in the crowd. Geohusband did the climbing for us. A quick and easy find. Tftc.
I quite like rest area caches as they are a good way of breaking up the monotony of a long drive. It's even better when you can also get a coffee there, as I was able to do today. Quite a few people were taking a break here today but none close enough to notice the old guy (me) climbing on things that shouldn't be climbed on. The things we cachers do!
Thanks for the cache and the break WaldenClan.
Thanks for the cache and the break WaldenClan.
Super small, but we spotted it quickly. A great rest area, with driver reviver offering coffee and biscuits. Great place to stop and refresh and break the drive. TFTC
Nice big and neat rest area and fav point and few mins find this and got signed and returned same place TFTC
It was busy here today, although early there was a lot of Splendour traffic coming and going. Not a lot of room for stealth, so excused myself as I found what I was looking for.

This was another stop to rest, revive and survive on our homeward journey from Brisbane back to Sydney. We found a convenient parking spot and took a break; not very busy today, but the Lions' kiosk was open and manned, so we got some tea, a cordial and some biscuits. Great idea to have these volunteers to encourage people to stop regularly on long trips.
While my little son had some fun on the playground equipment, I ambled around to have a look at some likely hiding places for this cache. It was easy enough to act nonchalantly with a cuppa in hand, stretching my legs and acting like I was taking a rest.
Before long I had spotted the nano. Now to make the actual grab without attracting any attention. Fortunately, the few people who were there were more interested in their picnic goods, so I could get into position and get a hold of the container. Then I spent a bit more time walking over to another spot to sit down and sign the log sheet.
While I was signing the log there was a blue-faced honeyeater which kept on coming close, perhaps to see whether there was any food to be had. There was also a rooster at this stop. I was wondering where he had come from, but later learned that people just dump roosters. Weird people out here!!
Shortly after I had replaced the cache where I had found it, a vehicle towing a large caravan came into the parking area. I could hear a distinct "clunk-clunk-clunk" coming from it, and the frequency of the sound was definitely related to the speed the vehicle was travelling. I went over to the driver after he had parked and mentioned this to him -- might have been a wheel bearing on the caravan. He seemed rather dismissive of my concern and said it might be something on the towbar. Well, what do I know about caravans, but as an engineer I would have put my money on something on or in the wheel hub! I just hope he got home safely.

Only 3 vehicles here and one of them an old campervan right next to GZ. Pair of old hippies who fortunately had a dog, so geowife made small talk about it so I could retrieve the cache. Almost caught me replacing it but told them I was doing some exercises after a long time driving! TFTC WalderClan
Busy little rest area with driver reviver etc. And plenty of caravans stopped in for a break. Saw cache from ground but had to climb to get. Not sure how to do that inconspicuously. There were people around but don’t think anyone took any notice except the dog who wanted me to throw its rubber chicken toy to him.
Mullumbimby Day 2
Today we went for a Sunday drive on a Thursday. Headed north & then circled back, travelling through scenic country side & quaint villages. Caches were well maintained & in some good locations.
Called by some time ago & the place was full of people, called by today & not too many here.
Bill climbed up which made me think the Terrain rating should be higher than a 1.5

I think I found the correct location, although far too many muggles about to risk the find.
My GPS was unclear here between 2 possible GZ's. I read an earlier log that gave me a clue and after a quick climb I found the cache.

What a glorious sunny day for some Caching. We have just finished a few days Caching around the Brisbane CBD and unfortunately it is now time to head back home. So we thought we would take a break at this rest area and stop, revive and survive. A quick find was had at GZ and Cache replaced as found. Many thanks for bringing us here. TNLN SL TFTC
While my wife visited Crystal Palace, I took the dog and went hunting. This was one of the caches we found. tftc.
Had to wait for the worlds slowest muggles to finish packing and leave.

All was quiet this morning as everyone is still asleep in their vans so we snuck in and got it. Tftc
2/7/17 The success with this tricky hide was entirely down to NannaRuby's ingenuity. We found GZ with little problem, however the grey nomads had inhabited the site & I deemed it impossible. Not to be put off Nanna Ruby cleverly took possession of the cache which was to be the last find of the weekend TFTC
I couldn't let this go even though it was muggle central. A sweet dog wanted to chat and it wasn't long before I had its owner in conversation. Turns out he is a great fan of spy novels and he had seen some activity that sparked his imagination. He confessed to having retrieved the cache snd investigated its content. Still with no idea what it was about he replaced it as found. He was very keen to have solved the mystery. Thanks. The end of a very successful caching weekend with toriakyogke who was continuing south.
Found on a one month road trip around Australia. Busy place, but I am sneaky. TNLNSL TFTC
I had come down from Tweed picking up as many caches as I could.
From previous logs I knew not to trust the published cooordinates.
The correct coords are S028 29.513 E153 31.414. Look for the triangle structure supporting a shelf and take a climb.

TFTC, I found the cache approx 12 metres from my GZ, prev logs and photos directed me to the right spot. The place was full of travellers and campers but I just went for it and no one seemed to notice or care.
When we arrived at the rest area we noticed a lot of cars and thought we'd have to abandon the search.
However, as it was raining againing the nearby travellers were snoozing in their vans meaning we could search easily.
After the first search was unsuccessful we read some of the recent logs and noticed several comments mentioning the coordinates may be out.
After retrieving a tool from the car we found ourselves on the right level and soon had the little cache in hand. Our gps indicated we were 7m from gz.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for the cache WaldenClan.

10:23:00 AM. The rest area was still full from campers. After having a chat with one bloke off I headed towards GZ. He called me back and told me it was above where he was camped. Sure enough he was right. Log signed. He had others through there who he over heard. Thanks WaldenClan for the cache.
We are heading to South Australia before heading to the event in Alice Springs. We managed to find time to stop and find this one and also spent time visiting our relatives in Evans Head. Thanks to WaldenClan for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Nice to find a cache here. Thanks to a couple of young German guys, we were able to retrieve the cache and replace the very full log sheet.

Every day is a good day to Geocache. Out caching today with Baby Birt.
Coords were out by a good 9m.
Had to stand back and just look. There it is. Neither of us fit enough to climb, co-opted a backpacker to fetch it down.
Turns out he is a German geocacher
Well, yes the log was full but I had spares so I put a new one in.

What a cutie! Climbed up, looked straight at it and didn't recognise it until I'd checked the photos. We stopped here overnight on our way back south & I had to wait for the bunch of backpackers to take down their tents and move on but had a clear run eventually.
Geoboy monkeyed around to find this cache, thankfully it was quiet here today! TFTC
Apologises for the late log.

Spending the Christmas period with family on the FN coast we mixed our caching runs in and around stuffing ourselves with too much food or spending hot days by the pool.
Had a days drive through the hills and this was our exit point from the freeway. I remember doing a cache here previously

Back on a road trip again, going places with the Woodyrothwell's again! Pulled over for a rest stop cache and some brekkie and of course a cache to stretch the legs. A bunch of Swedish tourists right at the spot we need ! Tried waiting until they had finished brushing their teeth in the hope they would move on, but by this stage they are looking at us like we could be why there are warnings to young foreigners to not hitchhike in Australia! All good in the end, one of them knew what we were up to, had a chat with them about their working holiday and seems the rest of the group is now joining geo-caching:) Log is full but we found a little place to sign our name:) Back on the road again now in the geo-van-that-can!

While holidaying at Pottsville, my son mazza151, my daughter pinkypie05 and myself decided to do this cache. Fourth time lucky for this cache! We tried twice yesterday but there were muggles there. We tried again on our way south to do some caches and there were muggles there. We tried again on our way back to Pottsville and yay no muggles. I had a feeling of where it might be so I went for the Climb and found it. The log book is totally full. I scrawled our names on it but they went over previous signatures. My son put it back. TFTC! Glad we got to get a smiley for it today, otherwise it would have had to wait until next year when we come back to Pottsville.

We stopped off here for a coffee at the Bean Van and I noticed that there is a cache near by. While waiting for the coffee to brew I wandered off and found I had the area to myself and I took the leap to find the cache.
It could do with a new log but I managed to find a spot to scrawl a "153"

Second time lucky, after being muggled-out yesterday! The cache isn't visible from foot-level anymore.
Came through last night to try for this one but too many camper-vans and muggles about, had no chance at attempting this one without drawing attention so thought to try again today and bingo. Nice spot thanks for bringing us here, tftc. :^)
