had a real quick look on my way into the event at The Strand today
didn't see it

and left it at that

There was a log in it when I replaced it. I don't know what is going on with these caches.
If it's missing a cap and log why has no one logged a "Needs Maintenance" log?! I'll replace it soon.

On our trip trough Australia with the hole family we looked also for some caches. They often showed us places we would never had discovered. Thanks a lot to all the people who care about this lovely hobby .
Elefantefurz and I had a little search, but after a while we found it.
There was no cap and log...
Need a replacement.
Greetings from switzerland .

After searching 3 different times we finally found it. Needs a new log. Couldn't sign it as it is full. Great hide though
The third part of our 6-week-journey in Australia took us from Cairns to Brisbane and also led us to this hiding place. Till now, we had such a nice holiday visiting Sydney, Melbourne, Great Ocean Road, Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Alice Springs and so many interesting places – beautiful. Thanks to all the owners hiding caches for us tourists.
Thanks for hiding it

Had researched this cache for a day of low ambition. After dnf on a mystery and in the drizzle I did a park and grab.
Thanks for the cache

After some time by the hotel pool in the heat of the day, it was cool enough for a walk to collect this cache. It certainly wasn't an easy find between the numerous muggles and the sneaky location.
When I lived in Townsville in the nineties, the nearby establishment was a regular on a Sunday afternoon. The best part - it was only a short two block walk to the share house I was living in at Mitchell Street.
Thanks for the cache, MattCNS

Very sneaky indeed.
Lots of muggles who may now suspect we're drug dealers... cheers for that. Haha

Hi there MattCNS. We found your cache "TPC - The Strand" at 12:52:00 PM today.
This was our 7th cache find in a caching run of 8 Finds & 0 DNFs today. (So this now makes our find count 9756.)
[Blue]
We are trying to log at least one cache every day, so we can add to our streak of "Most Consecutive Days Cached", which we started on New Years Day 2014.) Our route today took us to some really wonderful & scenic locations.
Normally we don't attempt nano caches, as we believe that their usage has become far too common these days. Doesn't anyone want to place large, kid friendly caches any more. [?]
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Pretty cool! First day of caching so getting used to the gps being out a little but having fun!
This was a quick find today and thoroughly enjoyable. Thanks for the fun. TNLN TFTC
Found it easily in a break of muggles. Replacing it more difficult as first a sitting muggle while I re rolled the (full) log decided to perch right at GZ, forcing me to take the cache on a brief walk, then a car pulled up just as I recrossed the road. All in a days caching! Couldn't sign because of full log - took photo as proof though. TFTC and adventure of replacing!
Klettercache and me are making a 5 week holiday in Australia and our route leads us from Sydney via Brisbane to Cairns. From Cairns, we are going to take a flight to Adelaide and from this city in Southern Australia we will continue our trip by train through the Nullarbor Plain towards Perth, where we will fly back to Germany.
During this second week of our stay, we drove a rental car from Sydney to the North and the trip will end up in Cairns next week. We have to drive really a lot of kilometers but there is always a possibility for a short stop to search for some caches. Luckily, lots of caches are placed at the rest stops where we need to stop anyway.
This day, we were driving from Airlie Beach to Townville but in the beginning of the day we had lots of rain and unfortunately, the nice villages and its beaches along the road were rather grey today.
Later the day the weather improved and finding caches was much more fun than during the first kilometers of the trip.
This cache could be found easily when walking along the beach. Klettercache recently became a very good nano hunter and he could also find this one. Logbook is completely full. As we did not have a camera, we had to write over the rather pale log of another cacher.
Thanks to the owner for keeping and maintaining the cache.

Last time I was in Townsville this cache was there but inaccessible so I couldn't log it. This time I went for a walk after dinner and walked straight up to it for an easy find. Signed where I could find light and then headed via the Seaview back to The Strand.
Thanks!
Thanks!
We walked The Strand today and made a few finds. This was our last one before lunch. Walked back through the pub to the beach afterwards.

In Townsville to see the arm doc, saw this exposed cache quickly but was a stretch for my good arm S.L. Ordinarily I'd replace as found but moved it 20cm down the structure with some more cover and less likely to drop the little sucker, still visible. Tftc MattCNS
Staying at a caravan park in Townsvillle, to do some caching in the area.
Went for a drive along the coast, enjoying the warm weather.
Parked close by, and no muggles in the area made for a quick find.
Many thanks for placing this cache, MattCNS, for us and others to find.

Such a Nice Spot has to ASK for a pen at Subway but didn't told them why cheers ozpaule
Thanks MattCNS for this hide. The additional hint was required to sister us locate the hide as the GPS seemed to favour other spots. Signed the log before moving off. Little closer to the Strand for a cool drink.
Found this after a nearby cafe gave us some much needed internet time. Easy find, thought we would dip in a TB that we have with us and are taking back towards the UK. TFTC.
Found this one whilst I was waiting for the Fish & Chips to be cooked.
I didn't have a writing instrument with me, so I went to the local watering hole & found a KENO pencil.

After failing in our magical quest we came over here in an attempt to continue our caching streak. We were concerned at the number of muggles at GZ but were able to retrieve the cache regardless.
Then it was time to head closer to the water and our evening meal.

# 1231 I have been really busy (lazy) for the past month or so, and done next to no training. When I heard we were to run the Strand this morning, I jumped at the chance to check out the new boardwalk.
Planned on getting a cache today to fill a void, so why not knock it off early. Despite having already solved the nearby puzzle, I was still running there so decided to grab this one instead.
Spotted it immediately but had some issues reaching it.

#379 A nice find to cover off for today.
I needed to get one before I go to Melbourne today, and this was the one we decided on. We parked in front of GZ and I thought it would be an easy find. Turned out I was looking for several minutes before I managed to spot it. Signed the log and replaced the cache.

Retrieving the cache took longer than finding it. The cache was dropped and we had to go to some extra effort to get it back. Once signed the log was replaced VERY carefully.

Tricky little cache to hunt for at night, especially given the environs. Like a caching ninja I hunted in the dark and was surprised and pleased to come up with the goods Tftc MattCNS one more Townsville find for us before we leave
Out of four caches I attempted to find today this one was the only one that I actually have been able to search for as there were no muggles too close by. The container was found after only a few minutes of closer inspection of GZ
