I've been wanting to visit this virtual cache for quite a while but I was never able to get away during business hours. I finally made it and confirmed what I thought was the answer. This was my first visit to this Forest Lawn and it was very impressive. Thanks for keeping this virtual geocache alive.

I have lived in southern California for about 50 years, and this is my first time to Forest Lawn. This was a fun virtual cache. Thanks.

So we did the card trick awhile ago (3 times because we messed up the first time) and finally got a chance to come out here since we were visiting family in Long Beach. Quite a few people visiting/morning today. Very clever and creative virtual. ironically just had a friend who went to see one of their live shows-and if your into magic I would highly recommend watching their tv show! TFTC

It was a dark and stormy night (by stormy I mean the sprinklers were turned on) and I was attending the Burbank Philharmonic concert in Liberty Hall. My friends and I looking for adventure, decided to attempt to find the cache before the concert ended. One of my friends happened to bring a deck of cards, so we played the game and saved the card. During intermission, we went out to find the answer. We were uncertain about venturing outlining their cemetery at night, but we brought ourselves up to it. We strolled down he paths eyeing the statues. Every turn was another infinite row of tombs. Once we reached the location, my friends decide to give up and go back to the concert. I scrolled through the plaques until I found the right one, and called them back. We gathered around in awe of the magic that occurred. I opened my camera app to take a photo, and at that moment my screen went black followed by the loading, spinning icon. I called my friends over and explained what was happening, and my friend pulled out his phone and the exact same thing happened to his. That's when they made a run for it, me tailing behind. The only person who's phone didn't drain in battery was the only person who didn't have the geo caching app, nor was interested initially in looking for it. We went around in shock showing everyone who didn't go out, our dead phones and retelling the story. It was after that when our phones rebooted at the exact same time. I'm not sure whether that was planned, or part of the trick, but sure was some magic to us. This was my first night cache and probably the most mysterious one yet. Thanks for the hunt.

Sounds like you had a lot of fun. Still great after all these years to get so many new logs of finds. Not an active cacher anymore, but love to read these logs almost daily.

9884. Visited this afternoon after flying in from Australia.

When I was planning my caches for this trip I decided to try for the Virtuals - being a rarer type. This one was very interesting. I first did the card trick on my desk at work. A few of the people I work with asked me what I was doing. So I did it again with them. They loved it ! When I made it to GZ walking through an amazing place I was not surprised at who the tricksters were - the only question being Aren't they both still alive???

Thanks Dru Morgan for keeping this Virtual going even if you aren't an active cacher yourself any more. I spent the next 30 mins walking around admiring the Park - thanks for bringing me here ! Favourite Point for sure !

TNLN - TFTC !!

Cheers....

Out with Matt&Rachel86, caching after a 5k race at the CBS Studio and visiting Walt Disney's barn. Everyone is the car had to try the magic trick. We couldn't believe we came up with the same card everytime and then we couldn't believe what we found at GZ. It made everyone laugh.

This was amazing! I'm a big fan and would never have found this if not for caching, headed over here after doing the WB tour. A definite favorite point, thanks for the fun!

[blue]This one was really cool.[/blue]

We planned this trip for a very long time. Months ago we began to prepare for all the caches we wanted to do during our road trip through the south west of the United States. We saw so many beautiful places that one can hardly believe to have been there. From day to day the landscapes changed and we would never have expected that it would be that great. We did so many caches along our trip and had so much fun. We would like to thank all the owner for hiding them and for showing all these places to us.
