Whilst doing nearby maintenance I checked on this and didn't fancy a swim (it's underwater)
We had no luck here today, Reading the previous log about the teacher we opted not to attempt this one.
This cracked us up. The teach was completely in the water we had to wade calf to knee in water. Cache was dry. Has about 20cm before it's under water. Super fun though! Had to be careful though there was a nest of spiders in cache. Think we got them all out might need checking up on in a week or so just to make sure it's all good....maybe wait for the water to go down.
Thanks for the cache. Battery still works!! Left a toy bug to help restock
A lot of the track to this one was under water today, but the cache is nice and dry. And a nice sized one too.
Contents are dry as well.

Was distracted by something else in the vicinity. Took longer than it should have. TFTC
Great little track to ride along....easy find....took nothing but left a 'trash pack' toy - just for the boys!!
Glad I chose winter to hunt these "lake" caches. Ya wont find me here in summer!!! Having said that, I really enjoyed the saunter down a track, off the "beaten" track. Nice one. TFTC.
Not sure what i was thinking going out caching today. I waited for the first storm to pass then i headed up this way to find some caches. The first 4 caches was great but after that the heavens opened up and didnt really stop so i got soaked. I still managed to get 15 in a couple of hours with 1 DNF. Once i found the path to get to the cache i made a quick find. TFTC Hiddo
TFTC! Picked up this cache whilst out to find three Copben caches in the area. Thanks
Spent the morning with Sparkle walking around the lake and geocaching along the way. Nice quick and easy finds

Spent the afternoon caching with my caching guru sister, R0gue. We had a lovely walk, avoided getting too wet from passing showers, and I learn a lot of tips and tricks throughout the afternoon. Picked up all the caches in the area without any DNFs.
Found a few stray bits of swag on the ground trying to make an escape, or perhaps defend GZ... returned items to the cache container, which may have been investigated by muggles. Fresh dog paw prints on the path leading to GZ and camo had largely been displaced. Returned cache to its location and replaced camo nicely. R0gue added a TB.
Thanks Hiddo.

We really enjoyed the walk along the back paths to get to this cache. A totally different landscape and part of the lake. The cache was an easy and obvious find. I left the Massey's Trek TB here.
Thanks for the cache Hiddo!
Thanks for the cache Hiddo!
I enjoyed this one. Nice scenery. Adult supervision of kids probably a good idea for this one.
Met up with Spatial Riq to for an early morning walk around lake Gwelup with my dog.
Picked up a dozen caches and a few QR codes as we went.
Great walk as the early morning mist rose off the water.
Many thanks for all the fun hides in this area.

After having a meeting earlier near Perry Lakes I continued on caching.
Found cache without problems. Another interesting container.
Thanks Hiddo for the cache.

10th and final find for the morning. Thanks Hiddo for an enjoyable hunt for dinosaurs and other crafty caches.
Cool cache, nice and colourful! TFTC! You've done a great job at filling in the spaces around the lake.
TFTC. Was a bit of a treacherous walk through the wilder woods of the lake, but the view was fantastic. Thanks for all of the caches around the lake Hiddo.
Took me a few goes to find the right way in, I tried to walk a different way and found drug paraphernalia and ran out as fast as I could.
Eventually I found the right trail and located the find, very nice view of the lake too!

Quick Easter Monday morning caching around the lake.
I think I chose the wrong way in (as the crow flies) so went through a couple of spider webs. TFTH

Hitchhiked through the bush not knowing there was a path... came back covered in spiderwebs and was a successful find

A great little hideaway from the main cycle path, so nobody here to interfere with caching activities. I was quite amazed by how many goodies there were in the picnic basket! Always keeping an eye out for snakes with these types of locations, but none spotted today. TFTC Hiddo
Took a walk around the lake with 'the fraulein' on a beautiful afternoon and picked up a few caches. Lots of goodies stocking this cache. Thanks Hiddo
Needed a bit of time on the bike so I thought I would head up to Gwelup and look at the bunch of new caches there. Quick find here SL TFTC
Nice part of the lake for a walk. Found the cache quickly and dropped in a TB while there. Great view over the lake in the late afternoon. TFTC.
A pleasant ride west along the ever busy Karrinyup Rd lead close to GZ. At 100m to go, the road bike was stashed in the bush and I picked my way through the bush until I discovered a track that lead to GZ. I dropped my pencil when reaching into the tepee so was grateful for the IKEA freebie provided. I left a girlie pink hear swap and took nothing. Glad to have crossed this one off before the rain strikes for real. Thanks for the cache Hiddo.
Enjoyed the walk around the park with the dog, picking up caches as we go. Thanks Hiddo
Enjoyable cycle in to the cache ...OK on mountain bike for a month or two yet, then you may have to walk because may get muddy ... (have lived in this area for many years).
Must bring the grandkids here for swaps...great cache for that.
Thanks Hiddo. TNLN

Can't believe that the FTF arrived here at 5:20 in the morning and it's still dark!!! What a trek that would have been!! Anyway we were having a nice ride around the lake, "in daylight", and then a walk to this spot, interesting to see this part of the lake and the foreshores.
Thanks for the hide Hiddo.

After an enjoyable ride right around Lake Gwelup, we pushed the geobikes for the final section. Looking for both the geocache and the "teepee", geofriend megawat60 made the find. TFTC Hiddo, a fave from me for taking us off the beaten track! I wonder however how wet this area might be in the winter... when it gets there and rain arrives!
Headed out to grab a few caches before work today and I wont have time later. This was a nice quick for 5.10am in the dark...FTF ...TFTC
