Just parked up at the Domain in Karamea for the whitebait season and thought we might get this cache but we couldn't locate it. We note that it said that it wasn't on the ground therefore it has gone because there is nothing left now above ground height. All the trees and bushes have been cleared from the stop bank and on the river side, just some rubbish left. We looked around to see if it had fallen out during the clearing but couldn't locate anything. We think this is now a defunct cache. Thanks for the effort of placing it.
Also searched tree high & low, and plenty of storm damage from Easter weekend. Maybe it has blown away?
Checked a few times (as you do for a FTF). BUt no luck. Maybe blown out of the tree? There are lots of broken branches too. Next time....
