Geo wife spotted quickly. What a lovely valley and trees and cattle stunning.
Loving these country caches here. Overtook a tractor down the road that overtook me when I pulled u here to find this one. Another easy find, Thanks eatmorchikin!
Hi there eatmorchikin, we found your cache Coolabine Hollow today. Today is Day Two of our lets introduce some newbies to our hobby. Were camping at Kenilworth Showground and had planned to find as many non premium caches as we could over the next few days, but now weve switched over to premium" as well. We are really glad to take this one off our DNF list. Were thoroughly enjoying our jaunt around the countryside today, & so far weve found quite a variety of container types, sizes and ratings. Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache near where our GPS said we should be looking. Cache Condition: Good. Regards Ian & Penny (Found and logged using Cachly).
A lovely country drive, and a quick find was made at this location. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks eatmorchikin for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Today, a planned *Maker Magic* event on the top of Kenilworth Bluff had me make a trip north. When I completed this hike one year ago, I hadn't prepared for the walk to take the full day, and missed out checking other vicinity highlights. Following the event, [shazzar66](https://coord.info/PRJ8B31) and I took a drive north-west through Brooloo and Imbil, and we scoped out the Mary Valley Rail Trail, and Imbil State Forest to the south-west. Those 4WD tracks didn't pose any concerns and were in good condition.
For lunch, [shazzar66](https://coord.info/PRJ8B31) and I returned to Kenilworth where we had lunch at the infamous bakery, and we ran into [Peppa](https://coord.info/PRAXNZZ) who had returned from the hike. We completed the finding of geocaches around town, and I then took off towards Mapleton, stopping off at Mapleton Falls National Park for a short walk. As time continued to get away from me, I was able to make a few final stops in Nambour, and then took the drive home fighting congestion on the M1 highway.
I also commenced/completed two Adventure Labs:
• [Not Too Shabby.](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/ead46a00-3de3-48be-97ed-2033deff279b); and
• [A wander around Kenilworth](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/703debde-f896-446d-ad5a-748aee0abcf7).

Having made my first attempt on Kenilworth Bluff this morning, and been only partially successful I tried to lift my spirits with some random caching…
Having read the description this was a nice quick find…
Thanks eatmorchikin

After seeing some photos online and how lovely the area is, I decided to go for a quick afternoon blast up to Coolabine and sort out the geocaches there. As always, it was an enjoyable drive through the Hinterland, then up the back towards and past Kenilworth. Hosting this series of geocaches, Coolabine Creek Road offered a nice detour from the main drag.
Not a long drive after starting this series from the west. Just being present and grateful for the surrounding farmland and views up the slopes mostly on the left. It sure feels miles from anywhere here. But being a loose kind of area, I could easily park off the road, out of the way and in view of nobody more than cows. I hear they prefer people to eat chikin.
I wandered to GZ and pondered what a wild scene this would be when the flood waters are fence deep. It didn't take me long, and found the container tucked away. I retired back to my car to sign the logbook at 14:40, then replaced all as found. Quick, easy, done. Thanks for this geocache, eatmorchikin

eatmorchikin I found your cache Coolabine Hollow on 13/8/2022, 12:20 pm. This is my find 3929 and find # 5 today. A quick and easy drive by. Love the cows and calves. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Relogging found caches under the name Bonkersandshush to my other accountGAZKERSH.Thanks.Nice quick find while caching in the area Thanks for the cache
Wasn’t sure if we’d get this one as it hadn’t been found for a while - but a nice easy park and find TNLN TFTC
A lovely alternative to Obi Obi Road, which is quite busy with traffic. Little cows mooing and kookaburras laughing made for a great stop. TFTC
Our last day at Cooroy, caching in the Kenilworth & Mapleton area today.
The country side is very green with long grass after the recent rains. Lots of windy roads today.
We found a variety of caches & finishe off 1 AL rhat we started about a month ago.
A great morning out visiting your area.
Thankyou eatmorchikin for placing this cache.

Hi there eatmorchikin.
This is the 2nd of 6 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
We spent quite some time here but muggles (on horseback) chatting at GZ prevented us from looking, so here's a DNF from us.
Regards
Ian and Penny

Camping at Kenilworth Show grounds for the weekend, didn't get many, but still made it worth while This was **cache 5** of **7**
This one confused me for a while. Found what I thought was the obvious hollow but the hint suggested otherwise. Either the fence has gotten higher, or the trees gone lower, but the hint is certainly not accurate. Trust your senses and you'll make a quick easy find. Cache was in good condition and makes the 2nd one of this series
Thanks for the cache **eatmorchikin**

Ensured there were no friends guarding the cache before reaching for it. Enjoying seeing the many sun bathing cows on this caching route. Tftc!
So many cows! Loved seeing and smelling them, including one heavily pregnant mumma to be. Not too far up the road were two travellers pulled over in their motorhome with chairs set up outside enjoying the sunshine. Idyllic <3
Gorgeous rural views, the well fed cattle must love the lush green pasture. Easy find once I found the right hollow.

Slowly increasing our return to caching after my recent hip replacement surgery.
We managed 18 finds today so it shouldn't be too long before Vegan Cachers (VC) are back in full swing! LOL ...
#13 of 18 found today.
No way Mrs VC was going for this one! LOL ...
Up to Mr VC to make a quick grab for it.
Made our mark & replaced as found.
Log chockers, left a page from my pocket notebook to keep things going.

Saturday. Out today with Que Sera and we were soon at this cache (couldn’t let this one go past as we were sooo close!). I looked “in there” and decided – nope – not in there… (face slap moment). Yep, cache was in there! Lovely area
This was the 3rd of 6 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***eatmorchikin***, for showing us this place.

Mrs slow puncture and I were on our way home from boolumba creek.we decided to pick up some smileys on the way home. Thanks for placing this cache here for us to enjoy .this cache was near Obi obi dairy. It reminded me of star wars and I loved the name .tftc
This took a little longer than it should. Eventually Mr. Herbz found it in what we think was it's original spot, not according to the hint. However, we replaced it as we found it. TFTC Emc

Found on a day out explore around the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. A quick find with Touchstone7.
A quick find for Genghicat who practically sprinted to the location .... ok sprinted like a speedy snail. He had to find it first to refocus my attention on the nearby farmland he was looking over. Photos taken and cache in good condition. Tftc
Quick find for the geokids thanks to the helpful hint. One nearly had a heart attack when a spider said hello.
This was a quick and easy find once the GPS settled down.
The grass is really green around here at the moment.

Enjoying a tiki tour around the hinterland. Boiling hot so looking for some waterfalls and rivers to cool down. Great scenery. Always a bit nervous of putting my hands into dark holes in Australia. TFTC
Here in Australia visiting from Colorado Springs. Good to be out caching with Liz and Bruce again. It is great to be able to find this cache and we are really enjoying the scenery. Thanks to eatmorchikin for the cache.
We are on the Sunshine coast for a while visiting with our friends who have come in from the USA. This was one of the caches we were able to find. We enjoyed showing them around this scenic location. Thankyou eatmorchikin for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area
Tftc, the location and the hide. If I had fav point left you’d have it! Got some great photos of the dairy calves across the road, lcoll112 even made a new friend - such a great photo, I had to share it!
Located quickly enjoying exploring the area playing with the new GPS

Last year we biked around the Mapelton Kenilworth Maleny circuit caching as we went. This time we took the lazy choice getting most of the ones we missed last time.
We are over here from Kapiti NZ escaping our winter and seeking some sunshine - we have not been disappointed. This was a quick find while out and about on a drive through the beautiful countryside. Thanks for placing a cache here - it made our drive even more enjoyable.
Out for a drive today and hunting some caches in the beautiful Kenilworth hinterland. We had very poor internet reception so while our phone GPS got us close to caches, we had no clues or information to go by. Luckily our Geo-Sense kicked in and we were happy to log FOUND IT on all that we sought ! thanks for bringing us to the area d eatmorchikin all well with this cache
Quick find on a bit of a roll between smoko and lunch in Kenilworth, thanks again eatmorchikin.
CO maintenance check - all was good with this little cache - cache had moved but I decided to leave it there. It will be safe there until the next flood. (the last one in this exact place floated away when the lands flooded).
out for a day of caching with red dwarfs, a beautiful day out here on these country roads. A quick find. tftc eatmorechicken
We were spending the long weekend exploring some of the forests in the area and picked up a few caches along the way. Cache was found safe and dry. TFTC, eatmorchikin.
Out for a Sunday drive with GeographyMan and the rest of the family, thought we'd do a spot of caching while we were out this way. TFTC eatmorechickin
This series is working out well for the geokids and ever patient geodriving daddy today. We spotted the possible hiding spot on arrival and then read the description and went for a bit of a wider search. All is well with the cache and the curious lazy cows nearby. TFTC

After spending the last few weeks settling in to my new abode and being domestic and stuff like that. Decided that I had to get back to doing what I like best Geo Caching. So I set out on a mini road trip to explore my new surrounds and hopefully pick a few caches along the way. Thanks for bringing me here

Pulled up nearby and parked. Had an audience of a couple hundred cattle. Applied a little stealth so as not to be muggled by miss daisy and all her friends. All good log signed and replaced. TFTC.
I had a few hours free this morning before the dreaded school holidays camping pack up. Not enough time for a climb up Kenilworth Bluff, but enough time for a lazy morning drive in the country side.
Oops, nearly missed logging this one. Of course, I checked the obvious spot and then looked around to make the find. I reckon it still might be in risk of floating away in a big rain event.
Many thanks chikins.

Great noises here. We were greeted by frog singing. Easy find and great parking for Oly. Overcast day but no rain to hinder us. Thanks for the cache, eatmorechicken
