This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 45 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

Scratched around in the dirt and ended up with logs of cobblers pegs on the pants but no cache in hand.
No luck for us here either. Despite seeming unlikely we ventured into the lantana and poked, prodded, turned and scratched to no avail. GPS was bouncing a bit though. Will put this one on watch so we can hopefully return and turn the frown upside down
Slowly increasing our return to caching after my recent hip replacement surgery.
We managed 18 finds today so it shouldn't be too long before Vegan Cachers (VC) are back in full swing! LOL ...
Our one & only DNF for today!
No luck for either Mr or Mrs VC here today, either severe cache blindness or cataracts ... not sure which?
Never mind, leaves us with a good reason to revisit the area.

Taking a detour off the beaten track with Genghicat. Cache was found in good condition. tftc
This one was the only one in the area which we had not done - not sure why that was now but it took us a fair bit of time scrambling around to find this one. In the end it was M who made the find in a spot I had already looked at.
This was a quick and easy find.
You can see where work has been carried out by the Council however the hide is quite good and well disguised.

Just had a thumbs up that the area has been graded and our hiding spot has been knocked over. Thanks Janetwil for your message. Janetwil has hidden the cache for us at GZ but under some cover. We will look at replacing hide when we are next up from Brisbane. Thanks.
So lovely and peaceful here today. We are having a enjoyable drive around this area. TFTC
Enjoying a tiki tour around the hinterland. Boiling hot so looking for some waterfalls and rivers to cool down. Great scenery. Loved this cache. Everything makes sense once you find it. Favourite from us. TFTC
Here in Australia visiting from Colorado Springs. Good to be out caching with Liz and Bruce again. It is great to be able to find this cache and we are really enjoying the scenery. Thanks to eatmorchikin for the cache.
We are on the Sunshine coast for a while visiting with our friends who have come in from the USA. This was one of the caches we were able to find. We enjoyed showing them around this scenic location. Thankyou eatmorchikin for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area
Tftc favourite point from me for the very clever hide! Was a bit Stuck for a while but moving around and getting a different angle led to the find.
Checked on this one on our way to the New Year's dance in Belli. Can confirm that the cache hasn't moved. It is still posted away where it has always been. Cheers from the Chikins and best wishes for 2018.
Bouncy GPS and waning motivation after a long day means we didn't look too thoroughly
Out for a drive today and hunting some caches in the beautiful Kenilworth hinterland. We had very poor internet reception so while our phone GPS got us close to caches, we had no clues or information to go by. Luckily our Geo-Sense kicked in and we were happy to log FOUND IT on all that we sought ! thanks for bringing us to the area eatmorchikin !! all well with this cache
Started scratching around in the litter but then found this excellent hide, haven't seen one like it. Thanks eatmorchikin.
CO maintenance check - all was good with this little cache. This is such a cute one indeed.
out for a day of caching with red dwarfs, a beautiful day out here on these country roads. A quick find. very cool. tftc eatmorechicken
Owners maintenance whilst driving down the road to our Coolabine property. All was perfect with this little one. I guess it doesn't get exposed to the elements from where it is snugly tucked. Added a couple of extra swaps.
Looking around for a cache that fit the bill for this weekend's souvenir, and this one did the job nicely! Made it to GZ easily, but for a moment couldn't find what I was looking for.... Had the wrong idea in my mind so I wasn't looking for the right thing! Turns out I had my hand near it, but mctwin2 found it due to a change of direction.

Left home at 0530 and heading towards the Sunshine Coast for the day. Started pre dawn and now the sun is up well and truly. Parked safe off road and walked towards GZ. After a look around was scratching my head and then thought that this one was very geokid friendly so it must be near here and I had my hand resting on top of the object I wanted but did not have my eyes turned on apparently. Very clever hide and another favourite point gained. Signed log and returned to the hiding spot. Love this one. Now to continue our out of the way drive to Mooloolabah.

Out for a Sunday drive with GeographyMan and the rest of the family, thought we'd do a spot of caching while we were out this way. This is our 600th find. We didn't actually plan for this one to be our 600th, but it ended up being the best find of the day!

On reading the name of this cache I thought we were in for finding a lonely letterbox in the bush but was quickly back on track when we read the description. Loving the swaps we are finding on this trip. This area's caches are good find for the geokid if you're keeping an eye on them near the road, our 4year old is loving caching today as these are fun finds and not too far until the next find TFTC.
Having visited a couple of my caches for some maintenance, time to find some 's.
This one eluded me the last I was through here in May 14.
An easy find this time.
A pleasure to find and a fav for the effort that went into creating the hide, well done [^]

I had a few hours free this morning before the dreaded school holidays camping pack up. Not enough time for a climb up Kenilworth Bluff, but enough time for a lazy morning drive in the country side.
Second cache for the day. A cursory look at the eventual hiding place was not sufficient and I explored other options before returning and taking a "mommy" look. Nicely played chikins.

What a great cache well done on the creativity. I found it with ease. Mostly a happy accident thanks it was fun.
A very clever and inventive hide. Started in wrong place initially but looked in the right direction at the right time and there it was. TFTC took red wiggle TB
Brother Colin is visiting for a few days, as we have a big hike today with some friends, and an Event tomorrow [^]
T-Tech, BC and I had taken the big hike up Mount Allan, and afterwards we headed off to grab some more caches. We spent a minute searching for this one, and I finally spotted it from below. TFTC, eatmorchikin.

Today a small group is out this way to hike to the top of Mt Allan starting at the Charlie Moreland campsite.
The group consisted of T-tech, IolantheK, Selvagirls, team dna, Slow Puncture and La Kedi.
Only T-tech, IolantheK and myself headed to this one after the hike.
A short search before finding this one.
Thanks for the cache.

My initial reason for heading home this way was this cache. I had gotten my dates mixed up and I thought that the geocaching road trip had begun.
I realised before I had left home that I was a week early, but I decided to stick to the original plan anyway.
Another nice quick find and another nice chicken creation. Nicely done.

Cache owners maintenance. All is good. Stocked back up with goodies for any geokids who visit.
Shame, shame, shame... How in the Geo:gods name did I have to PAF a friend on this one. I looked everywhere for about 30mins. I even DNF'ed it blaming it on the floods. Then when moving further on I noticed that others who claimed DNF's on other caches found this one.
'RIGHT, it's there!' I thought, and I headed back from further down the road. I looked again for 10mins. Then I had to lower my head in shame and call Cassowary for a little PAF love. She didn't give anything away, yet told me to just look harder.
And, then... FACE PALM MOMENT. How did I miss that, it's all about how you look at it. Or, in my case, how many hundreds of times you look at it.
This cache was part of a little Geocaching adventure that I had today. I don't know why, though for about the past 3 weeks I have not done a lot of caching, which is very odd. Though this morning, I woke with a major urge to cache. So I grabbed my GPSr, my Geo:bag and a water bottle and jumped in the car.
Not having many areas left close to home for a great run I decided to head out to an area that I have gotten close to before and knew there to be a few caches free, that would be Kenilworth. I knew doing this area would be risky with all of the recent rail and flooding, but I just wanted to get out.
Thanks for the cache eatmorechickin. The cache is in good order and for the amount of shame and frustration you caused, I'm going to throw a Fav' Point your way!

Staying at the showgrounds for a week so went out today to see how many caches we could find. This is beautiful country and once again we went along roads we would have missed seeing if not for geocaching. Thanks to the owners for all the caches.
I'm giving you a favourite for this cache.. great hide, it took me sooo long to find it!! I was getting so frustrated and nearly logged a DNF..
I really liked how you hid it.. Fantastic!!

Lovely drive on an alternative road to Mapleton. Brilliant hide, cache in good condition. TFTC
There certainly has been a lot of new caches released since the last time I was in this area. Happily dabom81 and myself had time to make them all smilies on our way home from the Bluff. We pulled up right next to GZ and in no time at all, the cache was in hand. After signing the log we replaced the cache as it had been found. With no little ones along for the hunt today we didn't swap anything.
Thanks for the cache eatmorchikin
