I saw there had been a couple of DNFs so visited today as I have been concerned about the future of this cache here due it being in such as open location and with the park due for a spruce up.
Well I can confirm that it has definitely gone - I checked around the whole reserve.
The old, broken picnic table is also gone (due to be replaced over coming months) so the cache may have been tidied away by council staff at the same time.

We spent ages searching in the grass around the trees (all of them just in case), but no luck
Such an easy find of a good sized container. Right there within inches of where the lawn mower has been, but safe and sound.
Came past to put trackable in cache but saw that it was sitting out in the middle of the lawn between GZ and footpath. We checked it and put it back in its hiding place. Grass had been mowed recently but no sign of weeding near GZ.
Quick find this time. Turns out it's easier to find cache's during daytime. Who would have thought?
We tried but could not find it tonight. Will have to try again during the day. A bit concerned as it looked like the park has received an extreme tidy. There were chopped branches around and from what we could tell no place to hide a cache.
Found the cache easily at Sunnybrae Green Reserve. I'm a little concerned about the future of the cache in such as open space as I've recently requested that this reserve get a spruce-up due to its neglect, and that the nearby picnic table be replaced with a new one.
Picked up Baker the Sheep trackable My first one.

Well hidden but not hard to find. We found Baker the Sheep traceable there and said hello to him. If still there in a couple of weeks we'll take him traveling with us. Tftc.

Tftc! nice quick find. I am surprised it hasn't been muggled considering it is so close to the road, but as someone who lived in the area for most of my life... i was surprised to find a park here, had no idea it was here.

Very easy find, didn't seem to be hidden at all, so we left it covered up a bit better. Kind of surprising it doesn't get muggled! Left a TB.
Working on completing our calendar matrix, and needed a cache to find today. Grabbed this one quickly before heading to the Gluten Free and Allergy Food Show nearby. Quickly spotted the container upon heading to GZ, just needed to try to keep my shoes dry as possible! Thanks for the hide.
Super quick find by R who emptied the baby roaches out of the cache all over his lap! Took TB and added some swag. Tftc!
Just a short walk down the road really...but for the TB I dropped off-a giant leap.

2nd cache of the day. What a cool little park, but had trouble finding a parking spot. TFTC!
Grabbed this one following a lunchtime meeting so it was nice to collect such a handy cache. Great to see it last and all in such good condition.
THanks for the placement

Who knew? Found the picnic table would be so close to a major road - well Zork did! t4tc
Been meaning to find this cache for some time now (in fact since it was published). I go with in 120m of it twice a day (weekdays), on way to drop off and pick up hubby from work.
Today I'd been caching in Remuera and for the mileage to count towards Geolicense, I needed a find, back on the shore. So here I am.
I'd carried TB's around all day, but kept forgetting to put them in a cache (although one of them wouldn't have fitted until now), so left 2 TB's. TFTC

The easiest find of my day - found at 1415Hr. The number of muggles was horrendous. Left a 1955 6d. TFTC!
This cache blew me away. No need to over think this one. parked within 4m of it and ready to hunt it down. then oh its just right there. Im surprised it hasn't been muggled as its in the open. TFTC
Easy to find. Have been past here many times but not seen this park. Geocaching is a great way to discover new places. TFTC
Found the resident cockroach sitting on top of the cache sunbathing. Scarpered ASAP when cache was picked up. Easy find although the GPS insisted it was in the middle of the road. TFTC.
I lived on the North Shore for many years, and did not know this park was there. Thanks for showing me. TFTC.
I came up to the North Shore with Aunty Kym today (SethRaven) as Uncle Wayne came to pick up his new car. WE dropped him off and went off to find a couple of caches before heading home to Papatoetoe. Quick find for me today, thanks for the cache.
Had to come over this way today to drop the other half off to collect his new car so just had to grab a couple of caches whilst here. Quick find for Miss Jada of JoJa1213 who is with me this afternoon. TFTC tucked away here.
Nice easy find can't believe it hasn't been muggled, although doesn't look like this spot is frequented by picnicers. Tftc
Cache was right out in the open so it was my quickest ever find! Not sure if want to have a picnic at that table though - at least all the slaters that came out to greet me were friendly! TFTC!
Quick cache and dash in a park I hadn't noticed before despite passing by many times.TFTC
Easy find found with my friends on the 14/06, cache was a bit hard to open but we managed haha, TFTC!
A little bit of a hunt around and the cache was in hand. No time for a picnic !!! TFTC.
On the way home after a spot of caching with the Mini Future Finder and found ourselves passing by. Determined to stop for the find as it would be rude not to! Super quick find here. Cheers for the cache placement!
Had been to town for a quick message in my lunchtime, so wondered if I could nab the daily cache on the way back. Remembered this one. Managed to park right near it and leap out and make the find.
Hope the mower man comes soon, its getting quite long here. Quick find. SL. TFTC.

Thanks for the cache. I love the decent sized ones. Unfortunately it does look like the travel bug has walked off :-/
Found on a trip back home. Some of the picnickers need lessons in using litter bins
Found on our way back from a morning at a nice playground. Stayed in the car while master Friwi and maman looked for it. Unfortunately the ladybug trackable is not there anymore... Sorry about that. TFTC
Has anyone seen Lulu? Ladybird travel bug attached to a well dressed man in a bowler hat (one of the Thompson Twins). Placed here last month and not heard from since. She's travelled all the way there from the UK and we're rather concerned for her whereabouts. Has anyone got any news?

Had a sit in this tiny reserve and thought about the hundreds of times I drove past here and never noticed it. Found the cache after the others wandered around lost hee hee. Thanks.
A bit of whoa on the way here as part of the motorway was closed, I passed through the Northcote/Sunnybrae Rd. set of lights well before I expected to as I approached the intersection from a direction I wasn't normally used to.
Pretty hidden alright. Luckily the find was pretty quick.
My next find should by in Sydney later in the day near my parent's place!
Thanks!

I have refrained from doing this cache until today as I needed a cache today to fulfill a Wellington challenge. It was hard to do as the cache is close to home.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Looked at the size of the cache and knew it was a Zork cache immediately. Stopped here to have our lunch and pick up the cache. Surprisingly clean area as I can imagine it would be a popular spot with locals. TFTC
We assumed (correctly) that we would have no chance of the FTF when this cache was published, so instead left it for this evening to give us another First Week Find. Arrived after dark but made a quick find. This woud be a good place for a picnic on a very hot day - no need for a sun umbrella. Thanks for showing us.
Now I understand the meaning of the cache name. What a strange place for a picnic table, but it was nice to be able to sit down and sign the log undetected. p.s. I also picked up the trackable tag from Sweden.
As this one was literally just down the road we couldn't let It go, and we were rewarded with a nice blank log book and FTF #27
Thanks for the cache, I never knew that this table was hiding here, despite driving past it many times.
