Looked about for a few minutes and then happened across the right spot. Also found two but only signed one. Nice tricky one. TFTC

09-Dec-17
Found lying on ground signed and put back but really confused as we found 3????

09-Nov-17
If you find the right one the log book is signable

07-Nov-17
Well that was a tricky one! Had a bit of a look without any luck, had an extended Chinese Banquet nearby, and I can heartily recommend it as a place to get a good feed, and came back much later, to have another crack at it. I can't believe how close my hand was to it when we were here previously.
This time surefoot24 made the lucky find, well two actually! One with a log, and one without.
Log signed, my last one for this great adventure with surefoot24 and our wonderfully patient, and most obliging chauffeur, Darren.
Thanks guys I've had a ball, but driven past so many that I must return.

07-Nov-17
Wow! That was a tricky one! When we finally found it we found two. One had a good condition log unit so we signed that and replaced them both. The vegetation had had had a haircut recently so it was easy to eliminate many hiding spots and maybe made the find a bit easier. Found very late after a day out caching on the Mornington Peninsula, after midnight.

Found took 20 minutes haven't done a cache In a while nice clever title

Must be my blindness for these Trolley bay caches. I can't even find the easy ones, let alone a D4. Had a 5 minute look before some early workers started arriving. Lots of rubbish under the plants.
Thanks anyway Lisette

Suscoe was out and about today in the very good company of Phetlern on the Mornington Peninsular.
It was a cool day with a strong wind blowing for most of the day.
We had a delightful day wandering the roads of this area finding a range of caches in varying locations.
Thanks to -Lisette- for this challenge,
We missed it last time, but today we found this nasty little chap.
A clever hide and tricky to the max!!!!
A favourite from us.

*Our second day on the Peninsula, following a course charted by Cap'n Suscoe. The weather was not particularly favourable, none the less we found a variety of valuable treasure, hidden in some very devious guises.*

The name alone made us feel wary, the persistence of Suscoe payed off and our names are in the log after a 5min search for this very sneaky/tricky hide - definitely a DR4!

Thanks -Lisette- for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

First time geocaching but this one was too hard for us! Will try again when we have a few finds under our belts.

11-Jul-17
Found this one after searching for about 15 minutes. Got distracted by the drain initially and when we widened my search it really just appeared in our hands. Love the cache. Thanks for the fun.

11-Jul-17
This one took a while to find. But we finally got there after checking something a 2nd time round.
Thanks for the fun

FEW too many muggles.we Will be back.

25-Jun-17
After having some lunch we came back for this one, not as many muggles around this time and we got a good park right where we needed to be. After a bit of a search we found what we were looking for. SL TNLN TFTC

12-Feb-17
Had a few attempts at this one while in the area each I had to abandon the search because of muggles. Today the carpark was quieter and I was able to have a better look. After exploring ever possibility I finally found it!!! Not 100 percent sure I put it back where it came from as it kind of jumped into my hand so may need a check at some point just to make sure it is where it should be? Many thanks for the placement even if it made me a bit cross for a bit Smile

Find #3152

Another early morning caching run down the peninsula to grab a few caches before heading to work. It was still getting light as I approached Hastings and after caching the surrounds a few times in the last few months I was heading for some hides near the town centre and foreshore today. This was my fourth find of six for the morning and after a couple of easy finds nearby this proved to be a different kettle of fish. Spent quite awhile here (relieved that there were few muggles around as the shops weren't open yet) without success. Toyed with the possibility of a PAF but a bit more searching and I had the cache in hand. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache Lisette. Treated myself to an egg and bacon roll nearby to celebrate the success!

08-Feb-17
Another day another set of caches haha, still on my break from uni. Today I had the mind set of clearing out a little bit more of the Hastings area before going to see my Pop who is in Bittern in the afternoon. This was the last cache that I found before heading to go and see my Pop. With many muggles around I struggled to find enough tim to give this a good search. After 30 minute i decided to throw the towel in and ask for some help from N0w0rries, After that the cache was quickly in hand, Thanks for the cache and the muggle activity haha

Passing by on the way to collect the mail. *(Well, 9 LBHs actually)*
Ruverbug Jam watched on as I began my search.
Looked high, looked low.
Stood back and thought about some other caches of yours that we have found.
Straight to GZ and the cache was mine. Smile
Signed and as I was replacing it I happened to find the (an almost identical) previous version.
Signed that too.

Great cache. We introduced our daughter's friend to geocaching with this one. Like us, she was very impressed! Good one!

Astro's nemesis cache had to be found...so I let him have the glory
Many thanks -Lisette- from the Wacky one Cool

04-Jan-17
I just had to find this one today.

After numerous previous red faced visits, failure was not an option.

Whether it was the presence of my caching buddy Wacky or not on this visit, I will never know. The cache log was signed and we proceeded to dinner with family and all was so good. I did not get indigestion. Razz

Yay Cool at last.

Thanks to -Lisette- and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

30-Dec-16
Out caching with Yorsys today in our local area. Given the history of this cache we were unsure if we would find it, but was hoping we would. This cache is my 1000th cache for the year, which is a big deal for us given that we only cache one day a week. I reminded swaggie2 that next year i will be going 2 days a week so should be able to find 2000 caches in a year. A fav point from us.

I never like these caches in the middle of car parks, but if I'm there at the time, I'll give them a look. Amazingly, I happened to park right on GZ before even looking at the satellite as to where in the vicinity of the area, the cache was. My back wheel being probably a metre from the cache. I really didn't think I'd find this. Did a quick first search in the likely places for about 20 seconds, then went back into the car to have a think and read some logs and look back at the area. Searched again, one particular spot I was hoping had something to do with it and sure enough, there it was! A bit of luck. Barely looked for a minute all up. Needed the tweezers though, in which I had a couple at hand. Rolling up these logs can be very frustrating, which is why I avoid nano caches, but am satisfied to find a tricky hide.

Thanks -Lisette- for this one.

30-Jul-16
18 minutes of looking and chatting with little Ruverbug. Looking at the terrain rating I knew it had to be something like this. I spent most of my search, when not talking to Ruverbug, muttering similar to myself. Clever. Well done.

23-Jul-16
Checked up on this one today and it is definitely still in its original hiding place, not where it was temporarily put when it was broken so keep looking everyone.

18-Jul-16
Planning a day for maintenance soon

05-Jun-16
After our attemp to find this cache we contacted the last finder who had detailed the camo was missing and had put the remaining components in a likly spot. I can confirm that several eyes looked at this area and did not find any trace of the cache. CO intervention is required to check if cache is still in play.

04-Jun-16
Looked everywhere possible. "Just looking for a dropped earring" in this high muggle area. Not found today. Will be back.

04-Jun-16
Out with OzHocheyChick and 88Andy88 to collect the nearby Jack Speak series. We stopped at the local greasy chicken franchise to cure our excessively hungry stomachs and decided that we sould get a few local ones since there was still a bit of daylight left. We arrived at the GZ to find lots of muggles including bus loads of new recruits from the nearby Naval base. The drizzling rain was not helping us out as the windows fogged up obscuring the view and knowing when the coast was clear. We finally got our break and jumped out to have a look around, trying to not look suss........'we were just looking for a ear ring', was the corny line we were going to use if asked what we were doing. Although looking high in signs may have left our 'line' to be extremely questionable?
After a good seach turned up blank we retreated back to the car for some warmth.....our first DNF for the day.

31-May-16
This is to declare that Lisette's status of finkdom remains. With the eyes of TrudyJane to assist and a comment about the title...from Lisette being of no use..and even in the midst of muggle time having a clear run NOTHING for the second official time. So - we are spitting our geocaching dummy, taking our GPS and going elsewhere. We QUIT, we GIVE UP. Are you happy now????????? Smile)) PS it gets worse as we went to Dogs on the loose and...

23-May-16
No luck here today.
Too good for us!!

10-May-16
Yesterday, I sent a message to Omegaman1971 that went something along the lines of, "I'm heading to HMAS Cerberus tomorrow, and I've seen this series called 'Jack Speak'. We should catch up sometime to do that". His reply was, "I'll be in Hastings tomorrow, too!". We have set aside a date in July to do the Jack Speak series, but we met in Hastings to enjoy a couple of hours of caching Smile

We were trying to work out the logical hiding place, but didn't find anything. As we widened our search, we found the cache lying on the ground in the open! Once we had signed the log, we re-hid it in one of the places we thought logical. We'll send a private message to the CO to let you know where it is.

Thanks for the cache, -Lisette-! Smile

Funny how things work out sometimes, QueenK8 and I both in the same area with sometime to spare.
As we made our way to Gz, I was thinking this is going to be hard at this time of day. But after only a few moments we found the cache just sitting out in full view.
Cheers for the cache

Super sneaky. Not sure it was on the correct spot? Took around 5mins once our muggle friend left. What are the chances of a muggle friend parking about 3 bays away. Pulled out the Waiting for GeoMum' card.

06-Mar-16
Found it after three attempts! Took 4 of us around 5 mins to find and it was only by chance that we found it! Sneaky sneaky!

19-Feb-16
Looked at every little instinct we had, nothing Sad

12-Feb-16
While in the area today working our way through the "Jack Speak" series we picked up some traditionals along the way in the company of DAB, testing out our new set of wheels. Another high muggle area cache, with an appropriate DT combo that had us searching discretely when we could. The other Triton came up trumps here with the elusive hide thankfully .
**Thanks -Lisette- for making some higher difficulty hides**

12-Feb-16
Another combined effort for a caching trip, today it was The_Tritonz and myself. Our plan was to grab the " Jack Speak " series of caches. While we were collecting them, we picked up some trads along the way. We had a great day, finding plenty of different D/T combos,. The scenery was amazing and the weather was perfect.
Thanks to all of the CO's for not only placing, but maintaining your caches as well.
It was muggle central here today. After a couple of minutes of trying to look inconspicuous, Chris made the find. I think that was his first contribution for the day... Razz What a very sneaky hide. Well done, I like it !!TFTC -Lisette- Smile

Just grabbing a few caches in the area and we had a quick search with Moosetash today and made a surprisingly quick find before heading into the local supermarket to grab some supplies. Thanks -Lisette- for the sneaky little hide.

01-Jan-16
Took a couple minutes to find

01-Jan-16
We'd DNFd this one a while back, partly due to muggle activity. Today, being New Years there was hardly anyone about and Happy pants made the find quickly. Thanks for the hide.

I didn't find this one today.

Here for the Mega and out caching with Lgoody, roostaman and tassie trekkers.

Ventured a little further from our base today and enjoyed the countryside immensely.

Thank you -Lisette- for placing and maintaining this cache. Smile

no good here today but a lot of rubbish laying around made a little poorer play to look.

12-Oct-15
Firstly, apologies for the late logging.
Found this with Leetalicious on a week's holiday on the Mornington Peninsula.
A great spot for a cache after a day at the Pearcedale Sanctuary
My thanks to Lisette for the cache and for bringing us here.
LL made the find of this little fella

Found it, looked for a while and then bingo! Very good cache thanks Smile

29-Sep-15
So many Muggles around today spent 10min looking for BondiBabe "lost item" & decided we'd look to obvious if we spent anymore time here.

29-Sep-15
Looked for 20 mins and couldn't find..... may need to check where it is.

03-Sep-15
This is tricky! Using phone co-ords so it might be out, but we had no luck

18-Jun-15
Tricky, tricky, tricky Lisette - spent way too long on this.

Somewhat enraged when I finally found it - so much time, so close, without so much as a glimpse ! Aaargh ! Just about to call it a DNF - then bingo !! No extraction tool, but practically willed the log out - simple, applied laws of physics if I'm honest Smile

To celebrate my success, & radical hair loss, added several TBs, discount voucher, a laden, shopping trolley & 2 or 3 bystanders & their dogs. Ok, I lied about the voucher !!

Well done Lisette, still love your work, even if it did take years off my life Smile

14-Jun-15
Found it with bugmanaus & ecebell92. Took 5-10 minutes - I stubbornly thought it was in a specific location based on the cache title.... I was wrong Smile

With Mrs one-eyed, our Daughter & Son In Law "Imapom"and their little Jack Russell "Woody "attended the Hastings Million Paws Walk .
After the event we had a lunch break, and whilst waiting for the lunch order tried to find this cache.
Imapom and I are experienced cachers, but were unable to locate this cache at the co-ords.

Sub 5min find! We were lucky, being able to park right at gz which provided us with great cover. I might use this idea myself Smile TFTC and fav pt given

16-Apr-15
Lots of people around and I had to move the car into a position so we didn't look too suss. A sneaky little hide and Tassie expat spotted it but she earned it. Once we had some cover it probably took about 5 minutes but only because GZ size was pretty limited. Well done on such a clever cammo. TFTC

11-Apr-15
A lot to talk about. First of all, the time. I started to look in the wrong spot for 5 seconds then realized that I wasn't going too well, I would've found it. 5 seconds later- found it. So it is still there guys, just you're not looking hard enough. It's quite strange as I'm sometimes not too great with the apparently easy caches. To sum it up this was a great, yet tricky for some, cache. TFTC Brainiac03 Smile

I actually checked that this one was there when I went to Aldi yesterday GrahamT so you need to keep looking. Haha.

Now - why didn't I take a GPS? Because I was sure I could remember which area I was taken to last time....but I'm not sure and the place was swarming with muggles and geospouse TrudyJane wasn't as much inspiration as she often is so....so soem of that finkness remains Lisette. Have been waiting to do this one for some time because of location in regards Muggle factor. Australia at 8.30pm and all is quite. Went to co cords looked at two obvious spots , no luck there, stood back and was helped as cache was partially exposed. Had my tweezers with me to remove the log, signed and replaced correctly so that is not exposed. All up around 3 minutes, but was helped. No muggles anywhere.

Travelling around Australia in our Caravan with our cat.

Having moved back to Mornington Peninsula to visit with family.

330 day geostreak completed today by finding your cache.

Parked in the carpark here and Mrs Felix headed off to Aldi, leaving Mr Felix to hunt for the cache. Well he had a look but with muggles coming from nowhere, he didn't get a chance to look well. So on Mrs Felix return shopping stowed and a quick poke about and lol the cache was found in the first place she looked! About time some luck headed my way! Cool

Find #4294

Headed out early with my caching mate SedgwickDave. It was going to be a hot one, so we decided to head towards the peninsula to find some random caches.

After a did not search due to muggles and a DNF at the harbour, we were hoping for a smiley on this one. Well, this one really is a little devil and reminds us of a similar hide not too far away.

Thanks to -Lisette- for placing this cache.

28-Nov-14
With half an hour to spare and early in the morning I decided to attempt this one that we visited a few months ago but the weather and the Muggle factor meant that we gave up before we really started. Had a quick look in the obvious places and then resorted to the hint. Still didn't help so read the past logs. These only seemed to indicate low (a child had picked it up,) small in that it needed extraction tools and something that could be located accidently. As far as I could tell it would require some careful grid searching and no accident would apply. Still nothing so decided to apply the title to my search and look for hard places where the log could be wedged. In the pricess of applying this logic I accidently found the cache. Even though this was an accident I am still claiming it. And to think I was sure that we wouldn't find it accidently!

Just checked up on this one and Yay its there still.
