Given a year has now past since the last find, together with the string of Maintenance requests and DNF's, it may be time to bid this farewell.
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
"I Don't Know" is also where the cache is. Couldn't find it, then looked at the past logs to see that there has been a string of DNFs. Might be a good idea to disable the listing until the cache is checked/replaced...
I wish I had read the previous logs before walking over here. Two out of three in the series. Shame not to be able to complete it.

Come on CO,
No finders since November. How about a check to confirm that it is there.

Bit chilly tonight out and about. Checked about three nearby oaks, but found nothing.
Wandered over after the nearby cache but hadn't read logs. Noticed the other dnfs but was there so still had a good look. Neither dty73 or myself could find today.
After taking a month off from caching (work commitments left us with very little leisure time!) we decided to load the bike and The Woofer into the car and head off to grab some smiley faces today!
We found all but one (we hate DNFs!) and left goodies wherever possible. Just over 4 hours, and 16 caches found. Not a bad effort given the ground covered!
Sadly, this was a great big DNF for us. We looked everywhere, even climbed several trees thinking maybe it was higher, but no luck. We gave up looking after about 20 minutes. No cache found, but we DID find 4 baseballs and a bat, so we left them in the open in case the nearby kids needed them for their game. TFTC The S's, hopefully it's there and we just missed it!

DNF. Looked around all the trees in a ten metre radius, read some logs and then checked the ground all around and got nothing.

I have been geo-slack of late. I think it's been about two weeks since my last find. In my defence I had the dreaded man-flu and I was on-call last weekend.
No such excuses today (and fine excuses they are !) It was a lovely still, sunny, winters day that cried out for outdoor enjoyment. I had to visit the Fyshwick markets first, so that done I grabbed a few caches in the Narrabundah area. I had to fight my way through Pokemon hunters at times, but they were fairly mystified when they tried to 'see' what I was going for.
I very pleasant wander over to this one. I met a friendly little dog on the way.

Cache laying near tree, found, then placed were I thought it might be. Nice area. Tftc.
Call me a pedantic tree hugger if you wish, but this is an elm, not an oak. Anyways, cache found - was very exposed so I have added some natural camouflage but I'm not sure that it will remain long! TFTC
Looking for a few caches in the area today...great blue-sky day for caching....this was the 3rd find....pen in cache optimism meant I couldn't sign it...TFTC!
These 3 were actually my last cache finds in what turned out to be most of a day caching ... when my original plan had been to go to the event in the morning, then visit friends for the afternoon/evening ... but ended up changing to an afternoon (and part of the evening of caching when the visit got called off ... Only found 13 for the day, but one was an event, and I did a couple other things, and took my time finding caches/exploring in some places I had not been ... but I had been here - my Son and his family used to live in Goyder street, so I had been planning to maybe go find these one day before/after a visit ... ended up dashing up the road and finding the first one the day he moved out - lol - so, because I was coming back almost past this way, I decided I may as well finish the day by ducking in and finding the other 2 of these ... Parmed up the end of the road and found the second one first, then kept going and found the second one third ... then went and re-found the first one (as I drove out) just to make sure I had remembered who was who correctly and had found what I thought I had the other time I found the first one/the first time I found the other one ...
TFTC - interesting place/hide (exposed a bit from "other" side (although the other side may be the "other side" considering 8 usually end up approaching things from the "wrong" side so I added a little bit of camo but not too much - there is a point where one could add more but then the camo would attract attention more than just a bare cache)
... Also an ... interesting ... place to go and find a cache ... I had been wondering what that weird "thwok" noise was ... until I looked around as I left and noticed that I was now next to the golf driving range ... and it was seconds later that I heard a "whoosh" noise right above my head and I was glad I was on my way out of there - lol

It was a training night at the baseball club so I followed the tree line hiding my advancement to GZ. Made for an interesting walk. SL TFTC
The 3rd in the skit, and our's for the finding... and it took some finding! Looks secure, but with big rains expected in late Autumn... Thanks for the cache The S's
After another long day at the lab it was finally the end of the week and time to nab the daily
The place was deserted except for a guy and his dog in a ute. So off I strolled from the car to make the nice, easy find at GZ. As I was signing the log I could hear the "tink!" of lots of golf balls being hit in the nearby range
Thanks for the hide, The S's

Third in this series and the best spot of the lot. Found the cache lying on the ground. Following the hint I placed it where I think it was meant to be and covered it as best I could. Thanks The S's
We are on a trip to Canberra.
Sounds lovely little cache taking us to a new place.

Final day in the ACT, and so after finding three caches near the motel, we wended our way back home via the Deep Space Visitor Centre near Tidbinbilla (a must see).
Then picked up a puzzle I'd solved a bit back, and a few more on the highway.
And back home the Geokids hadn't burnt the house down - win all round!
END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION
This series took my attention as I've been a big Abbott & Costello fan from way back. And, of course, this routine, which they simply referred to as "Baseball".
My favourite movie of theirs is The Time Of Their Lives (1946) in which the two only trade dialogue in the opening scenes set in the Revolutionary War. Once the action switches to the present day Lou only shares dialogue with actress Marjorie Reynolds. It's more of a drama with comedy, and really works so well.
Another quick find at GZ once the camo was spotted. Completed signing duties and replaced.
A favourite for the series, and getting me to relive a time when A&C movies were on TV almost every week.
And now to head for home...

Not the right way of going things of course, but I initially tried grabbing this one after Who's on First. Unfortunately I arrived in the area just as a horde of young men were getting set up for baseball practice. Suffice to say for those doing their final preparations, GZ was not the place to be discrete, so I walked quickly by and did the proper order instead.
After grabbing What's on Second I wandered back past third base. Luckily the boys had all decamped to do stretching exercises in the centre of the field and I was able to quickly grab this one unnoticed.
TFTC and an interesting little wander in a spot I've not been to before.

Lovely day for stroll without too many muggles. First find for this cache in August. Tftc

As I was in the area I took the opportunity to find a few caches and keep my current streak going. Quickly found. TFTC.

Found on a Sunday afternoon hunt. As I a said on Who's On First this series brought back great memories.
Thanks The S's for the hunt and the cache series.
Thanks The S's for the hunt and the cache series.
The ninth find of the day while riding around the area. The final one in this mini series to collect. It was a bit closer to the people who were practicing but they still took no notice of me. After a short ride from the previous cache, I soon arrived at GZ and began my search. I checked a few spots before finding the cache. Log signed and cache replaced. TFTC and the mini series The S's!
I played may games of baseball here in my younger days and I was surprised about how close this was to the dugouts. You wouldn't want to try to find it while a game was on. Went to the wrong tree first and then decided to trust my cache sense instead of the GPS.
Thanks The S's

Visited here today and rehid a new container and log book. Cache was out in open so have hidden it a bit better can fellow caches make sure it is covered well. Thanks
This one was difficult. I couldn't find it at first as it was missing from the hide. I found the cache on the ground I nearly missed it hard to see at night. The log was wet but I managed to sign it. TFTC
#660. 242 days in a row.
I is for... I Don't Know's on Third
I'm finally catching up on logging my finds from earlier in the year. I hope I've got all the dates right, but I've definitely found all of these caches and kept my streak going as long as I'm logging it.
This was my ninth cache in an attempted alphabet streak (I only made it to W). I intend to have another go at an alphabet streak later in the year.

Log is still extremely wet, I thought it would fall apart in my fingers! I found it on the ground so I placed it in a likely looking spot.
8884 and 10th of 17 found today. [Green] And this was even more of a test as the hide is right behind the batting line-up thingy. Although they were intently watching the game the snapping twigs etc. were a worry. At least the find was made while totally obscured.[/Green]

Months ago I tried to do all the ACT 1000 Club caches. Found about half of them but my solutions for the others were at odds with the check sums. Spent a couple of hours on Sunday and refigured out the solutions. To-day Tuesday decided to geo-cache around Callum Brae, Geo-Scince Australia and then on to Narrabundah. Walked 15 kilometres found 15 caches, one TB and 2 DNF’s. TFTC.
A few muggles around watching the game - but no-one took any notice of a dog and owner disappearing into the shrubbery for a bit. Having a poo bag in hand helps with the alibi. Thanks so much S's for a pleasant early evening walk.
Last one for the evening and Bex made the last find too - it's great to let the kids run ahead, even when they're in their twenties I really enjoyed getting out for a walk to grab this little series tonight - brings back lots of memories - thanks a lot
Found 9:00 pm with LuckyL10n. Today we had already located our daily finds and this small series an extra hunt to enable LuckyL10n to gain another goal. Off to locate the cache it didn't take long to locate and put our names on the log. Thanks for the cache.
#2759 - 21:00; Trees seemed to be a bit of a theme for MrDamage and I as we set about grabbing a few caches on our nightly daily run tonight. We had bagged our first of the evening when MrD scaled the dizzy heights in Braddon, then we headed over here to Narrabundah to clear a few more off the unfound list. This was the last of three for me tonight and completes this series. Made our run from second over to here where MrD quickly had cache in hand. After log signing duties were completed and the cache replaced we headed back to the geomobile and home for a change of socks! TFTC The S's
I had to convince a large huntsman to let go of the cache before I could retrieve it.
After picking up "Who's on Second" I decided to head over and pick this one up also. Continued my stroll around the fields and was soon heading towards GZ.
It was pretty dark in amongst the tree's so on went the mobile phone torch light. Soon spotted something that looked "cachey" and yep I was on par.
Signed the cache and returned to hide location. I was then off back towards the car to head home to finish cleaning for the family arrivals.
Thanks for the cache placement The S's

This was the last of a quick caching run with Angel27, we were pretty pleased to be able to grab 6 in an hour. Thanks for helping me to reach a milestone by Sunday - only 23 to go. TFTC.
Went for a quick afternoon cache hunt with JoeyLovesTreasure to pick up a few extra caches before she attends her milestone caching event on the weekend, and I head o/s for a few weeks. This was six of six for the afternoon. Had a stroll over from the last cache on the other side, and wouldn't you know it - another mini caching trail around the tree! A mini milestone for me - number 350 - and pleased to get it with JLT who was there for my first one! TFTC The S's!
Another day out to do a few caches with Mister JD

Bump friend at shop... I talk her about geocahcing... she want learn to geocaching and i help her how to GPS.. She like it but very tired... LOL Her name MW9910B.... Lovely walk to track and Path... Beautiful full sunny and Blue sky.... Look cute cache... hide well Thank
We thought we might not be able to complete this one, due to workmen who appeared to be near the cache site. But as we did one of the other caches and approached from a different angle it was clear they were some distance off with lots of equipment in between. So we did number three and finished the series. Thanks The S's.
No practice going on today so nice easy walks to the caches.
Many thanks for the challenge.
