Another DNF for this one. Had a good look in the place nominated by the hint and came up empty.
2 not found today and 757 overall.
Tried all the places I could reach and still it wasn't forthcoming.

Unfortunately no joy for this one. Checked in the area described by the hint, but wasn't able to make the find. Hopefully more luck next time.
Hate to do this but have to log a DNF for this one.
Looked in the area as per hint but still couldnt find it.
Maybe next time I am in Canberra I can cross this off my DNF list.

Found tonight with ProbablyBex and GrimRaider after getting a meal at a nearby Club. It was too nice to go home and I talked them into grabbing a few caches - I am trying to get to 2000 before the end of the year. I haven't been down this way for years - what a beautiful oval. Nice little hide too that Bex made short work of - thanks a lot - lots of fun out tonight
Found 8:45 pm with LuckyL10n. Today we had already located our daily finds and this cache and a small series nearby were an extra hunt to enable LuckyL10n to gain another goal. Off to locate the cache it didn't take long to locate and put our names on the log. Thanks for the cache.
#2757 - 20:45; Trees seemed to be a bit of a theme for MrDamage and I as we set about grabbing a few caches on our nightly daily run tonight. We had bagged our first of the evening when MrD scaled the dizzy heights in Braddon, then we headed over here to Narrabundah to clear a few more off the unfound list. Parked on the wrong side of the creek for this one, which would not normally be a problem at this time of year, except for the storms earlier in the day. This meant we had to choose our crossing point carefully, before we could get to GZ, where a quick find was had. Log signing duties completed and shoes and socks wet through from the long grass, we squelched our way back across the creek and on to our next attempt. TFTC scruffyblake
The clock is ticking and I need to get just under 30 caches to reach a milestone at an event cache on Sunday. It was a bit humid, but that could have been the champagne after Melbourne Cup Celebrations (I got a third on a $1 place bet). Angel27 and I approached from the wrong side but managed the terrain to sign the log. TFTC.
Went for a quick afternoon cache hunt with JoeyLovesTreasure to pick up a few extra caches before she attends her milestone caching event on the weekend, and I head o/s for a few weeks. This was 4th of six for the afternoon. When we realised the cache was on the other side of the ditch, JLT demurred, but we found a convenient caching trail that lead us almost to the cache. the ditch was not so bad, I think JLT was worried by my "devil-may-care" attitude while holding her iPad! Anyway, all easy and good. TFTC Scruffyblake!

My GPS batteries gave up the ghost as I approached GZ, and I was very surprised when I found the cache very quickly. Thanks scruffyblake
Found this one before work this morning. Thank god it's not swooping season, otherwise i'd be a little iffy about caches anywhere near trees

I started on the wrong side of the creek but fortunately not alot of rain recently and easy to cross.
Taking geodog for a walk so I thought I'd combine it with a few geocaches , a fine sunny day and nice walk around the park..
thanks
Note Log book needs replacing ie there is none it there but a scrap of paper..

I don't know what was more fun - finding the caches - or watching the kids every time they found another golf ball in the grass! But with this cache it was even weirder to find an egg! But with a quick bit of maintenance we put the cache back in place with the swaps that had remained. TFTC
We enjoyed a stroll around the baseball field watching people playing golf, picking up a couple of Ingress portals, and finding a pile of golf balls in the trees. Found the location where this cache should be, lifted a kid up and there was only a couple of swaps and a chicken egg in there. We had a spare cache container on us, but no log book. So we made do with what we had and replaced the cache. Hopefully it sticks around this time...
Dropped by to check out this cache on a cool afternoon after work. Searched and searched but couldn't see it or feel it even with the clue! I hope it's still there! A great spot for a cache.
Cheers

No wind today, but the sun shone on tis beautiful cold day for my 800th find TFTC
Friday 27 June 2014 - another cold breezy winter's day with the sun struggling to squeeze through the fluffy white and grey clouds. Another afternoon stroll to exercise while there's still reasonable weather before the rain starts again. Quick and easy find. Thx p2p. TFTC.
Today is a niceish day at the moment, and it's Saturday. I've been a bit crook, and a bit depressed because yesterday was the first anniversary of my wife's funeral. I'm not wasting a nice day for Geocaching, particularly in view of my aim to reach 1000 finds before my first Geocaching anniversary.
The GeoSchnauzers are looking appealingly at me as I pack my Geocaching kit. C'mon, GeoSchnauzers!!! They need a walk, and they're getting used to short parks and grabs. That's all I'm intending to do today, because my mate Knightech is doing some home maintenance, and I'm going to give him a hand. At the start of today, I'm on 703. This is number 3 of 12 I found today. .
This was another quick park and grab, with GeoSchnauzers in attendance for the very pleasant walk I left myself. TFTC!!

Thanks scruffyblake for this adventure today. We loved watching nearby activity at the velodrome and remote control car club. It was a happening place today!

After work On Friday with some good weather for once. The cluster around the ball park was a fun little draw card. I have been to one game here and it was a great night. I'll have to get back again one day. Thanks.

Container pretty obvious when you get close, hid it a bit more. Checked out the model car mob and the velodrome, thought it had been pulled down
Found @ 3:11pm with Shadow!
This one is missing the white part of the lid so there is a nice hole for water to get in. It's dry at the moment though.
Thanks again scruffyblake

1013: Nice hide. Geomonkey was half way up the tree when I grabbed with the reach. TFTC scruffyblake.
When we were getting closer to GZ, we could hear more burnouts and screeching of wheels and engines nearby! Sounded like a remote control car race... It went on and on whilst I was signing the log! We couldn't see what was going on because of the trees. Anyway, thanks!
Found while out on a caching morning with Mr Roo. First find for the day. TFTC
A quick creek crossing and we were at this cache. Found quickly with Captain Tomato TFTC
Headed here after training in Kingston, quick grab, TFTC

Final cache found on a beautiful Easter Monday morning. We should've kept a closer eye on this one, to see when it was okay to find this one to get the FTF. Anyway, it was a quick dash from the car to GZ, for a quick find (also found a golf ball). Nice hide and location near home. TNLNSL. TFTC scruffyblake!
With an entire Easter off for the first time in ages I had plenty of time to go where-ever I wanted for a change, so on the way home I took the opportunity to stop for some sport. There was actually a couple of games finishing up with plenty of muggles around today however they were all concerned with themselves rather than some woman walking her dog so the finds were all made quickly and without issue. SOMEthing seemed to either be in or *have been in* this tree that my dog was going nuts about! I have not seen him desperate to get up a tree before! I thought there could be a possum in the hidey-hole but there was no sign of one and no movement. Whatever he could sniff I think was long-gone.
Found 1050. I was heading to the Markets & decided I'd be a fool not to take advantage of the fine weather & grab a couple of nearby caches. Besides, the bug bombs I'd set off in the house before I left meant I had to fill 2 hours before I could return, so it's not like I was pressed for time!
After parking on the wrong side of the rivulet I piped my way to the other side then made the quick find. Took nothing, but left a wattle pathtag & signed the log. Also found evidence that at least one golfer has either extremely bad or extremely good aim! Thanks for the cache scruffyblake.

11/4 As promised we returned to collect this one for our daily smiley . Was almost in the area when it was enabled again but decided to leave it. That is one big willow and not sure why I didn't go suss it out the first time ! Can see that the other caches have been rearranged to cater for this one. TFTC
Started on the wrong side of the creek but a convenient bridge? helped. After that, it was a quick find. TFTC scruffyblake

Not again! The location on Google maps even looks kinda wrong but who knows my gps in my smart phone is not very good at the best of times. Is there some kind of GPS blocker hiding in the park . Anyway even with the hint I only had about 5 minutes on my lunch break and so many construction muggles grading and mowing the area it looked a bit suss of me looking in tree after tree ! Seems nicely snug between the other two new ones though. Oh well, another one for our daily streak I suppose
Stormcatchers might have only had 5 minutes but I had a bit longer....however the result was the same.
Something is certainly wrong here as the posted co-ords are only 126 metres from one of the caches published the other day. Mistakes can happen, but this seems to be odd. Have the co-ords changed at all since publication?
Anyway, I widen my search out to and a little beyond the required distance, but still nothing. Might need to be checked scruffyblake......
