I went to check if the score board was still there and no it wasn't. The cache has been destroyed.
Sad to see this one go.
Sad to see this one go.
Assuming there used to be a scoreboard here, looks like it has been demolished along with the cache!
Nice hide and easily doable in the dark. Better to visit when fee people are about or it could easily be muggled.
Quick find on way home from visiting the Grand Kids! Notice signs asking to be quiet for the horses! Good Luck with that on match day!!! Thanks
I've found a cache here in the past, so had a good idea what to expect when lochb, G' of GJMMelb arrived on scene. But with acres of oval and parklands to use of course it was at GZ that two muggles decided to play their hack game of badminton - WHY?!?!? Not willing to turn away so easily, we decided to move in and have a look anyway and hope for a moment to make a stealthy grab and replace. Sure enough I spotted the cache quickly and loitering watching a couple of model airplanes flying over the racecourse and with lochb and G' acting as distraction made a quick snatch of the cache and a leisurely log of our visit. With G' watching the muggles for an opportunity to replace the cache I soon got the nod and it was back in place, followed by some more checking out of the planes and race course before we wandered off to the car - job done
Where would the local muggles play badminton? Of course within 10 m from the cache, given that there was so much space all around here! We approached anyway, and pretended we had come here to watch the model planes chase each other, waiting for them to collide any moment. Cache was retrieved unseen. Here with GJMMelb and quiet1_au, on a rather chilly but sunny day. TFTC
Found with Lochb and Quiet1_au. Muggles were close by but occupied so we moved in. Q went straight to the cache so we were able to log a return the cache without any disruption. Thanks gildalimor

so we are circling the race track trying to find the other nearby cache when we drove in here. i got the kids out and handed the 8 year old the gps , sure enough he heads to the middle of the oval before changing his direction to a more probably locale. how this sucker remains unmuggled is beyond me. i used some height to eye ball our next goal. great cache thanks
Lucky I've brought my husband to help find these... In his words he's "awesome at this". Plus he's tall.
TFTC. With plenty of secretive places to hid I was completely overlooking the obvious, it was indeed easy.
All was quiet at the cricket club so we were able to park reasonably close to GZ. A short walk pointed to a range of possible locations but the container was quickly spotted at 13:45. TFTC
Went after school thinking i might look suspicious to people hanging around in the park but thank fully it was empty! Cache found easily, left a sticker! TFTC
A nice quick find at 19:50 before heading back for the post-debate pickup. Time was short and this fitted the bill perfectly.
TNLNSL, although our night find geocoin just qualified for a visit. Thanks gildalimor.

We found this cache today at 3:30pm as number 2 of 7 on our West from Chadstone Tour. Nice to spot this one straight away. We found a previous incarnation of this cache back in 2012. The cache was called "What's the Score" by Harrigriff. Thanks from D & H B-A.
Today was the 3rd annual Victorian Cache Awards, so gmj3191 and I ventured out to the northern suburbs to attend the celebrations. On our travels we found a few caches here and there, and the day was quite successful finding some simple hides and a few difficult ones. This was the 8th find of 8 finds today.
This has been my closest unfound cache for quite a while now, so I was glad to get the opportunity to find it on the way home. I've played cricket here before and knew exactly where I was going to search.
The carpark was closed so after a quick run across the oval I soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks for this one gildalimor!

Found 11:20, after a short but pleasant stroll and a quick search.
TNLN, thanks gildalimor.

Found with the co when he invited me to his neighbourhood. TFTC gildalimor but the paint job needs a bit of work haha.
Nice Hama bead trinket, so we're heading home to make some for our next find. On a roll!

With the end of the first month of 2015 quickly approaching I realised that if I didn't get out and find a cache or two today then I was at risk of not finding any this month! So I plotted a rough route and setoff. This was my first find for the afternoon and achieved quickly with no interest shown by the tennis players and dog walkers in the general area.
Thanks gildalimor

Was a lovely day for girl blunts first find . Nice and easy , thank you for the cache
Heading down to my friends house in Brighton, where she is staying for 3 months for work, originally from Canada, of course I had to stop and do some caches.
As we pulled up to this one there was a tennis guy hanging around, with the help of my son we were able to grab the cache when he wasn't looking, he approached us when we got back to the car I told him we were just looking for my sons football left there last night
He told me about a man who fell there last night and how the ambulance was called, I hope it wasn't a cacher.
Thanks gildalimor [:x]

Geocaching with some of the younger members of the Wolf Clan. Easy find, although they are so young that none of them could actually reach the cache without my help. TFTC.
Found by geodad. Yay. Normally the geokids beat me to it. Signed log and left small badge as well. TFTC
Headed out with two of my mates and found it quite quickly, but it was a nice walk to the cache site
Arriving at the park I experienced a sensation of deja vu from a while back. All was quite today except for two tennis playing muggles. Following the needle, I was quickly at a familiar spot and adding my name to this log.
Thanks to gildalimor for placing this cache.

I'd tried to find this one a couple of months ago and had no luck, so I was back again today. A nice, easy find, and a good chance for my dog to have a frollick around the park at dusk. Thanks gildalimor for the cache.
Suscoe's 13th find of the day as we were wandering the streets of the Caufield area.
Got a surprise as we appraoched GZ around the corner of the grandsatnd with a chap flat on his back.
Thought he might be ill but he got as big a surprise as we did. just snoozing in the mild afternoon shade.
So a quick walk, find and exit.
Thanks to gildalimor for placing this cache so that we would have this strange moment today.

Spectacular day on a glorious oval. Thankfully there was no match in progress otherwise this cache would easily attract muggle attention. TFTC.
It was a beautiful afternoon so a quick stroll around the edge of the playing field was a nice distraction. The cache was tucked away nicely and with the log quickly signed I was on my way.
Found this one today. Container was on the ground so replaced it where I thought it would go. Thanks for bringing me here and for the cache.
Had fallen down so easy find but back in place now. Thanks for setting it up
TomTom said that I could drive to just near this one but that big gate said otherwise! It was a nice walk though to GZ and a too easy find! That colour is a bit too bright to survive I think. Perhaps a less bright colour for the second version? IT is amazing how something colour matched can survive.
gone, this cache is missing
came to check on it today and was gone
I will try get this back online asap

Quick find on a windy night waiting for orienteering and the storms to arrive. Tftc
On the way home for work via orienteering over near Caulfield Racecourse. Time for a quick cache or two.
Nice quick find right by the start line actually.

Wasn't intending to go caching today but was waiting for geodaughter nearby and was walking round the oval and looked to see if any caches were near. Easy find but as didn't have a pen and the pencil is missing, I didn't sign the log. TFTC
Was in the area attempting to clear nearby caches. Parked on the street and approached GZ. Thankfully a completely muggle free oval so an easy find, sign and replace.
TFTC!

I think most cachers are going to thread this one through the big sticks. No one about on a quiet and cool Monday morning.
Thanks
Thanks
I vaguely remember looking for the cache that was previously in this park only to find when I checked the logs that it had been muggled - sometimes I forget that I should check the logs beforehand.
I was back here today with kmace. Our main objective was the cache in the middle of Caulfield Racecourse so after finding that one we decided to look for this cache outside the racecourse. Nobody kicking goals or behinds today, just a few dog walking muggles. The good co-ords took us to a likely where we found the cache in the second place we searched. kmace did the retrieving and we signed the log at 2:25 pm. TNLN.
Thanks gildalimor for the nicely camo'd cache in a very pretty park that I have driven past many times but never stopped to have a look at.

Found this one today. This was a nice easy find in amongst a few muggles but not too many in the second place I looked. Nobody was playing, winning or losing today but did love the signs regarding the "Horse Hazards" nearby! Signed log but didn't swap anything today.
Thanks for the cache gildalimor.
