Logs
Despite the location and limited access hours there have been a number of issues with muggles. Combined with mating season and rising waters at various times Moses has had a few issues. Perhaps a burning bush spoke to him and he's moved on to grander things.
Looked all over the island but couldn't find it. There was lots of evidence of traffic so it's probably been removed.
We looked for a little while but did not find it. There is a bird nest box 2m away from GZ and we did not want to disturb the nest or let anyone think that we were trying to mess with the box so we left. There has been a lot of traffic here so there must have been others looking recently as well.
There were many a place it could have been,
But none of them it was ....
It was starting to get late, long day caching, so will mark this one down to look for again.

This is a copy of my log posted on 27/04/2014: The Co has not updated the co ordinates or the description.
"I have replaced this one. Moses has left the area but a barnyard is there now. I had a lot of trouble obtaining a reliable satellite fix in here and the new container is at
S27 35.448 E151 58.276.
Cryptic clue is
Cross the bridge and then the gully. Walk in a easterly direction very close to the water on the northern side. When you get to the rushes search down amongst them but not at ground level and you will find the barnyard firmly attached to a tree in the rushes. You will almost be at the point on the north east end of the land mass."

Unfortunately our first DNF. After getting home and reading through everyone's logs, I feel like we'll have a better chance next time! Is Moses not there anymore? Next time we'll be wearing our bush bashing gear!
Looked for this one for about 1 hour but to no avail. Will have another look some other time.
search for over an hour with no luck I'm sure I know where it was but just couldn't see the cache!
Searched around for ages then gave it away. Now realise we were using the old coordinates, not youngoldfella's update. Our thanks anyway to Scarlet Devil.
[Blue]# 11759[/Blue] Found on our 2015 Winter escape trip to Qld.
A quicktrip around Toowoomba on a perfect caching day with Di Morgan.
This was evil, and probably should be a higher D rating. We found it 10m's away.
Cheers from Wagga Wagga in the Riverina.
Thanks for the cache Scarlet Devil,

Today we headed around the Toowoomba area finding caches as we went. We had Roostaman join us for the morning. We stopped at many parks & passed so wonderful scenery.
We took the long way round to get to GZ. Took some time looking & another cacher came by & gave us a hint where to look. The GPS said we were 10m from where we found it.
Thanks for placing this cache Scarlet Devil

Travelling around Australia in our Caravan with our cat.
Today our WA buddy was free for some caching so Mr Felix headed out to join K.B. before being collected by Mrs Felix.
Fun in the windy but sunny day in a town we have not visited before.

Mr FelixII found this one 10m from the listed coordinate and it seems to be a micro bison these days. Thanks for the cache.
Almost gave up but knew I was in the right area. So happy to find it. Bring a pen to sign the log book. Only bring swap items that don't mind getting wet.
Great place. Came for some birdwatching and to grab a couple of caches. We found the cache on the ground so we replaced it up high. TFTC.
A little difficult but we found it. Very cool but I ended up on my rear at the creek crossing and had red mud back side.
Bit difficult with three young kids but hubby and two eldest managed to get through. Take mozzie spray and a stick to clear the webs.
Thanks, we enjoyed.
Thanks, we enjoyed.
Followed instructions until a bird took flight and decided that searching for this cache would go against the whole idea of the conservation area so returned to the car empty handed.
Out on a great days caching with the Hiltonclan. Managed to find the awkward way in but the good way out. Amazing how often I seem to be able to do this. We managed an entire circuit of the island then removed our shoes for the creek crossing. Thinking you probably only have to do this after a bit of rain. Thank you Scarlet Devil for placing this cache
Found while out Caching with The Green Geckos. We had a storm just before getting to this one and after circling around the little island we found the bridge and thought we had it but the water was up. We quickly removed our shoes and waded across and soon had the cache in hand. Nice hide. TFTC.
went there few months ago with geofriend Dranyer and i wasnt member that time and i helped Drayner look for that cache and took us ages look for it but i went there on 6th December 2014 and my friend came with me as he want to watch me doing the geocaching and guess i could not find it but my friend was just watching me look for it and he tapped my shoulder and said have look over there so i turned around and looked and found it. glad didnt take me look for long TFTC
Found it, cute little cache. Duck was in attendance but thankfully not overly aggressive today! If you find the dead bat you're in the vicinity. Tftc!
Day 2 of my quick visit to Toowoomba.
A few new caches to find and time to do some maintenance on a few of my caches.
I am back for another look. Armed with new co-ords and a new cache I went searching. My GPSr had me a bit further along the bank than was necessary but I found it eventually. [^]
Thanks for the cache

There is a log in the tube, it unscrews, didn't have a pen.
Bridge is open, bit of Bush bashing, there was a dead bat not turtle and beware we got attacked by a Muscovy duck, some battle wounds for this find

Bush bashed our way to little Moses, dad got attacked by a duck which was quality entertainment for me. Didn't log our names because we had to get out ASAP.
forgot to log xD tftc also be careful of ticks me and my bf gospel ended up getting one each xD
A bit late in logging this find - Grandson just loves to go "treasure hunting ! A beautiful spot, felt a bit like "jungle jim " lol. TFTC.
The kids would have loved trekking to this one. Just their sort of environment except for the dead turtle which was rather sad to see. Found the cache okay. Thanks Scarlet Devil.
As per previous logs, we found the cache at the attached coordinates, using the description in Youngoldfella's log. We needed to push through a fair bit of greenery, so I wouldn't recommend trying this in breeding season as you'd disturb the wildlife too much. Not to mention that it's in a taped off area now, though you could circumvent that if you were willing to get wet. We also came across a turtle that appeared to have been killed by a human last night, which was horrible to see. TFTC, Scarlet Devil. =^.^=
Finally got around to working this out. Thanks to YoungOldFella for fixing this one up. Muggles that like to mess with stuff seem to hang around here
[font=Comic Sans MS]Hi there Scarlet Devil. We found your cache "Moses" at 11:30:00 AM today.
This was our 2nd cache find in a caching run of 8 Finds & 0 DNFs today. (So this now makes our find count 9529.)
[Blue]
Today's cache run was to add to our current streak of "Most Consecutive Days" cached. With this cache the total now stands at 229 Days.
Today was our last day in Toowoomba, & we wanted to explore some of the awesome caches that were close to the caravan park. The bridge to the island has some barrier tape across the entrance, but we ventured across anyway.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: [Red]The coordinates need to be changed on the cache page to reflect the ones logged by youngoldfella. (We found the cache around 2m from where he said we should be looking.)[/Red]
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.[font=Verdana]

Loved this little cache. I thought you had Mia-spelt lanyard.... Was I wrong. Thanks for replacing this one.

Came here today with the family with the intention of showing this one to them, but unfortunately it has disappeared. Not sure if the council has done works or if it is vandalism
I had a super long week-end in Toowoomba from Friday until Tuesday.
and I am in town to find all of the new caches in the area since I left town year ago.
Today is my last day and I did not quite get all of the new caches.
I stopped by but could only find the remains of a pen so I think I was close but no little Moses ... maybe the Egyptians have been past recently.

The bridge to the island was closed due to 1 mission plank. But Mrs CacheThief took the risk and crossed anyway. Nice easy find due to contents being scattered. Looks like a bird has eaten some papers!

Box was open and contents were everywhere. I've packed it up. But you may want to put in a new log book.
5th cache for the day this one took a little wandering to locate but we got there in the end TFTC
Approaching this one....hmmmm, had a look at the satellite view..... OK, hope there's a bridge... and what do you know, there is!!
Wandered around in the vegetation for quite some time before going, OK, it must be over there! .... and it was!!
Nice container! thanks Scarlet Devil

The gps was all over the place here, but after following my nose I soon found the cache. It's good to see a cache with a bit of creativity, so a fav point from me. I just hope that it is off the beaten track enough to stay muggle safe. Tftc.
#197
With new co-ords posted we thought we would give this one another go.
Walked in, saw the cache, signed log, kids swapped swaps, and walked out. It definitely wasn't there when we first looked!!
Nice idea for a cache - thanks for the hide today

Great cache, a brisk walk to a little island and a cute cache in an unexpected place. Geobubba was thrilled to see baby moses. We left some swag for future geocachers. Tftc.
**FTF** .
cache find # 1315. the claim for FTF is confusing to us. (Later confirmed by the CO, that we were FTF after publishing).
But none the less we found the cache today.
Very creative indeed.
TFTC TFTH.

Cache was still there, but well camouflaged. Recent tide marks around the place indicate it may have got submerged at some stage so a new cache was placed off the ground level.

Found this as part of my geocaching race. It will say FTF, but I found it last year. The official FTF is still available!
Thanks for an amazing birthday present Scarlet Devil!

I was lucky to be able to join angloj on her birthday caching adventure. This one was the first and was a little difficult to get to but the find was made and the log was signed. TFTC
Well, I suppose we can claim a FTDNF- first to did not find
This one had us searching for about an hour, using 2 GPS's and after looking at ground zero and extending our search out at least 10m all the way around through the flood debri, reeds, rushes and up the trees, we still came up empty handed. we certainly were looking in places of much higher difficulty and terrain rating. And then, when hubby emerged with a tick, we decided to finally give up!!
But now I am confused - angloj already found it last year?? [?] Maybe Moses has floated away in the recent rains afterall..... or was taken home by princess angloj??
