Have tried twice now to find this one. Spoke with a beautiful older muggle from the cottage that said the council have fixed the fence so it had possibly be moved. She had a very clear idea where it was meant be but wasn't there
Same a previous. Had read the previous logs so knew what I was looking for but was unsuccessful on this occasion.
Enjoyed the sounds of spring (Rosella's & bees).

Grey nomads travelling around Australia in our caravan. Held up a bit due to Covid19, so currently in Queensland only, but there are plenty of caches in our home state that we have not yet found. Currently, doing a lap around South East Queensland, and we are house sitting nearby, so able to enjoy the festivities of the carnival of the flowers.
We attended the Chilli, Chocolate and Cheese festival close by, and maybe indulged in a little too much wine at lunch time in the heat, so am blaming that on not being able to find this cache - for the second time - despite nearby muggles who were keen to help.

DNF. Thought we knew what we were looking for but we just could not locate it. With LBB87 & SLW
Oh my that was a doozy but found it on our 3rd look over 2 days thankfully! TFTC
Great little lunch spot. Bit of a tricky one but GPS was right on and it really shouldn’t have taken 2 geologists to spot the odd one out!! TFTC
Read some previous logs before coming out to find this one so I had an idea of what I was looking for. This meant after a short search at the GZ the cache was found and log was signed. Cute area, tftc
Revisited (had found ages ago ) with Roostaman in case he came up short! LOL ...
**# 25519** Found on our 2019 winter escape trip to Qld with Mrs Roosta.
A perfect first day of Spring for a drive around at Toowoomba.
Hardly any muggles around and mostly good safe hides.
It's still there and very well hidden.
Thanks for the cache Scarlet Devil,

While on our way to Crows Nest to attend Rural Safari 2019, we stopped here to look for this cache. Searched likely spots but couldn't locate this cache. No one around so spent about 15mins looking but nothing. There seems to have been some tree pruning but not sure if that has affected cache location. Will have to come back and have another look someday.

Mrs Wallaby had the afternoon off work, so what else is there to do? go geocaching ofcourse!!
We loaded up in Grover the Geo-Jimny and headed down the hill from Toowoomba nabbing a few geocaches here and there, exploring our local surroundings and having a few laughs, ofcourse we found this cache so enjoy our log... Jokes on you
Did I tell you the time I fell in love during a backflip? I was heels over head.

A nice find with bennyboppers and jemillalucy today. A little searching and a big fat toad scared me at one point. Tftc
Even though we thought we knew what we were looking for it still took quite a while to find.

What a sneaky hide!! After looking at the logs I did indeed stay on the rocks - no need to trample any gardens. On the rocks!
We stopped to enjoy this little historical cottage thanks to the GZ location. There were a few muggles about so we wandered and read logs. Had us a bit worried. But no need. Walked straight to the obvious spot and picked it up. Tftc
We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us.
Currently staying at Laidley today we decided to head out for a drive in the surrounding area. Got a little sidetracked and strayed further than we had loaded into the GPSr. Luckily we had GSAK with us and were able to grab coords for caches offline. Phew.

Took the long way home following a week working in Toowoomba. Found lots of interesting places and spots along the what totally enjoying a few hours in this part of the world
Showed the caretakers where the cache is so they can help people in the future. They told me stories of people who gave up and left without a find just the day before.

Being shown around by my non geo cousin, nice spot, very quick find, nice pie nearby.
Well I'm certainly not quick about picking up local caches...only three and a half years after publication have I finally made it here. And what a great little spot...had no idea this was here. Went by previous logs about sticking to the stones and had a scan of the area and very quickly spotted the likely hide...phew!!! Not generally what happens when I go caching alone so was pretty happy. Great placement Scarlet Devil. TFTC.
Making memories and seeing sights and attractions youd never just go and visit without geocaching. Tftf
Hunted around for quite awhile until my Mum had her first find!! She was thrilled.
Found this very sneaky hide after quite some searching! Extremely clever. Paper was a bit damp and worn, it may need replacing. Tftc
New Log Paper left (old paper log remains institu) a very interesting location, no need to go off the rocky road.
A quick find, though my feet were not willing to cooperate fully. Please be careful where you are walking. TFTC
Sometimes you get lucky and go straight to the hide, today was that day for me. TFTC
What a lovely area this is and cute little cottage. But the gardens, oh gosh, the gardens totally rock! hehehe. This sneaky little cache nearly had me beat but I persevered and stuck to the stone paths, leaving the garden beds alone, and soon sniffed out the cache. Ok I didn't actually smell it, but you know, the geosense kicked in and I found it. A clever hide that had me searching a while! Thanks for this cache, I signed the log and all is well with it. A fave point for the location and hide.

We decided today would be a great day for another trip to Toowoomba & surrounding areas.
So many caches out here still need converting to smilies! LOL ...
Spent a few minutes wandering around lost until Geo-Pop struck it lucky.
As mentioned in previous logs there is NO NEED TO TRAMPLE THE GARDENS, just stay on the stones & you will be on track for a find.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

A lovely spot for lunch. A most enjoyable steak sandwich from the local store. [^]
No need to step amongst the plants. Stay on the stone paths.
I struggled with this one. The volunteer from the cotage put me in the general area. A PAF was stll needed though.
Some nice memorials here.

We spent ages here! Thankfully the toilets were open & the geokids enjoyed playing on the equipment & around the grassy area. Arrived just after closing time, so were unable to visit the cottage today. We suspected what we were looking for based on past logs but it still took eons to turn it up. This cache hasn't had a log since Sept 16, but clearly others have looked as the gardens appeared to have been trodden on, which is a shame. We might return some other time to check out the cottage. Tftc Scarlet Devil xo
Third time lucky. Had to get a clue from Speedmistress which did the trick.
This was hard

Another DNF.
This is the third we've been looking for it.
Is it really a 1.5 difficulty??
One day I will find it.

IolantheK and I were on our way out to Grows nest Challenge today and she just had to find and sign this one [^]
Diverting up the range via Murphys Creek we spent a while searching before IolantheK mentioned that the last 5 logs were DNFs , but a bit more searching and I discovered the hide [^]
Cache is dry and in good condition [^]

T-Tech and I are on our way to a camping weekend at Crows Nest, but we took the detour through Murphy's Creek to grab this cache. I hadn't looked at the cache page, so had no idea of the difficulties others have had here, and we set to work expecting to have it quickly in hand. It is after all only a D1.5 cache! How hard can it be?!?!?!?! Well, quite a few minutes went by and there was no cache to be seen A read of past logs had us wondering, but we couldn't get a hint from them, so I was ready to give up, but T-Tech widened his search area just that little bit more and after a minute or so made the find!!!! GPS had us about 5 metres away. TFTC, Scarlet Devil.
Could not find and notice there have been a long list of DNF Maybe it is gone. However we had a great time learning the history of the area and the cottage from a very enthusiastic volunteer. Even though I can not log a find this cache is a good example of the importance of selecting an interesting place for placing a cache. Thanks for bringing us to this spot and having the chance to learn so much.
Checked again today.... Still no luck, but I have a new clue. I will be back....
Spent quite a time on this one. My second DNF for the day - going home. I did notice there were previous DNF's here so have asked for a friend to help out and will check again soon.
Excellent camouflage. Took some searching but glad we kept looking. Nice quiet area and cottage.
An easy cache to find once you choose to ignore where your GPS is telling you is GZ and you use your eyes. We soon found the cache container that to an experienced cacher is very obvious. Thanks for bring us to this lovely area. SL TFTC
Amazing hiding spot! We're about to give up but found it. Found with Another Bored Person
Tftc. Sneaky hide. Took some searching. I thought i knew what i was looking for and i was right with camo cache in hand. Thanks to the moral support from the worker at hessies cottage. Going to log this as a favorite of mine as it eluded me for quite a while and there was a beautiful white german shepherd en route.
After having had a great lunch at the Pub nearby we thought that we had better come and find this one. After a bit of a search it was duly found and the log signed. Thanks and well done Scarlet Devil.
I thought I would give this one a go as I was in the area dropping off my nephew to go motorcycle riding. It was starting to get dark and cold so I had a quick look but didn't spot anything obvious.
I never knew this cottage was here so I will have to come back when it is daylight (and warmer) and have another look around.

It was anything but a quiet little spot in Murphy's Creek, because it was Trail Bike Weekend sponsored by the Toowoomba Motorcycle Club. There were so many campers around, we couldn't see any BBQs or play equipment adjacent to the Cottage - actually it was difficult to FIND the cottage! But we did manage to wind our way through the tents, over/under the various rope fences to the boundary of the cottage fence where we managed to find the cache. But more interesting today too, was the monument to the animals which suffered during the 2011 Floods. WELL DONE, FOLKS. Found at 1.30 pm on 20th June 2015. TFTC.
