I'll join the list of DNF's on this one. Despite multiple circuits and using what passes for a hint. No luck
No luck for me here today. I got the clue but want sure I was executing it right.
We think we found the cache however we could not remove it from hiding spot as the hiding spot appears to be damaged.
GPS puts me inside security fence. My DNF and recent string of DNFs, perhaps CO needs to check on this one.
Chime went off in middle of road...found a suspiciously placed o-ring...but nothing else
Well I will have to say this one got the better of us today. We thought of many places that we have found like this but not today. Found a get big spiders though.
Finished off with a walk down to the lookout.
TFTC we will be back next visit.

Found with Orrsome86 and my son while touring the area. We had a visit to the Glow Worm Tunnel, then a few choice spots with amazing views and landscapes. After we split up with the others we picked out a few high elevation caches to help qualify for a challenge.
A short drive across the top of the wall. We parked nearby and started looking all around and I mean all around, doing complete laps of the fenced area. Getting close to giving up another team appeared and helped us with the hint and shortly after the cache was found, but still not where we were expecting. Always nice to meat another team out in the field.
Thanks for the views, altitude and cache!

Seventh cache of the day. After driving around Newnes Plateau Tombi wanted to find a few caches that were above 1100m. This was the third one on his list. We took a while to find this as the GPS wouldn’t settle so we didn’t know which side to search. We also failed at reading one of the words in the anagram hint (I blame a long day and tired brain). Luckily another geocaching family arrived and one them was able to enlighten us. We continued our search. I checked all of the likely spots but had no luck. Then I spotted one that was not like the other. Finally located and retrieved we all signed and headed over to look at the view. TFTC
Met some other cachers who helped us find this one. It was in a very tricky and unusual spot. Tftc
Found after a little search. Beautiful area with amazing views. Thanks for the cache
In what seemed like tornado conditions, we stuck it out and soon had cache in hand...
Not sure if the random guy that appeared was a muggle, or one of us... But he disappeared just as quickly as he appeared...
Signed log and replaced... TFTC!

Found it! Great cache! First one for the trip! Found it with family and grandparents!
Previously logged under team account BoogieRogue. Re-logging with my individual account. Found it, nice spot. TFTC
DNF, guessing from the comments the car full of hoons may of removed it
Really disappointed that I didn't find this one, because I gave up too quickly so I had time to see the views, which were spectacular. Now I think I know where it is, I was so very close, even touched it, but it may be years before I get back that way.. I was fortunate to see a scrub turkey/lyre bird in the undergrowth on the way which excited me. Too quick for me to get a photo. That was a bonus.
Streak Day #991 - After arriving in Lithgow to stop for some lunch, dave8153 and i decided to come and attempt this one. So we sat at the nearby picnic tables, had the place to ourselves - took us a little while to find it but eventually dave8153 came up with the goods, just as we replaced it a car load of hoons drove into the bush past GZ...yep they are up to no good so off we went for the next leg of our trip homeward bound. TFTC
Good cache when you stop looking for a magnetic. Rather misleading. Views are amazing. Thanks
This cache was quite tricky to find before reading hints from the previous logs. Once I got the clue it was easy. Though I didn't see much of a lookout from here.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
This one was a nice easy find as there was nobody around to hinder the search. Reading previous logs also made the find much quicker. TFTC.
Not too difficult after reading the hint and previous logs. Good job we were able to find the cache since it made up for the fact that there were no views at all because of the low cloud and drizzle!T4TC always good to fine some one has put a cache in a tourist hot spot since it means we can carry out or fave activity and see the sights at the same time (when it isn't raining!!)

This one took a bit of searching, until I looked at older logs and got a hint of where to look. The. It was easy.
Thanks

We are spending a week in the Lithgow area for the September School holidays, staying at the Lithgow Caravan Park. This was our 7th find of the day, 13th find of the holiday.
After finding "Just Another Rock in the Wall", despite the recent string of DNF's on it, we wandered the short distance along the road to this one. Coords had us 5 metres inside of the fence, but there was NO WAY I was going to "jump the fence" as I had just done at the main lookout to find "Just Another Rock in the Wall", so we started looking around the general area.
Eliminated all of the locations nearby, then returned closer to the coords and bingo ! it was CIH. A very sneaky hide indeed. TFTC.

First day of geocaching and this is my second find I'm hooked....found with ballo
Second time looking for this. It had me all "bent out of shape. Glad to put the lid on this one.
GPS wasn't too far off, hint threw us until we found it and a photo posted by a recent cache is a furphy! Used previous hints to uncap this one. Thanks for the tricky cache - we weren't leaving till we found it so it really capped our day
Got initially distracted by the "magnetic " description but previous logs made me realise to look at things with a different bent.
searched for a few minutes without much luck before reading some logs. opened my eyes and came up with the prize. well done. the views are fantastic up here, pity about the howling gale today. will be back with a picnic next time. tftc pills123
A quick find as we travelled through the region on a mission to work towards completing the NSW Altitude Challenge near Newcastle. Hoping to pick up 29 from the region in the next day or two. Thanks for a well kept container and log. A clever hide that had me scratching my head initially. TNLN TFTC
Searched for a while and the clues didn't give any ideas but eventually our muggle companion spotted something different. TFTC
After a long search we eventually made a find here - I think in spite of the hint! We really puzzled over it and it wasn't until some time later that I realised its significance - very clever. TFTC pills123
Found on our journey away from the Mega. Today we are travelling from Gulgong to Lithgow or perhaps from the tropics to the arctic. Mostly about travelling but we will collect a couple of caches along the way. After arriving and setting up camp we had some time to tour around and visit the area and we collected this along the way. We didn't understand the hint but we found it anyway.

Eventually. Ipad 1 app had trouble getting a better reading than 5m but was consistent in its general location. Should have believed it and finally clicked to the hint object and the cache was soon in hand. TFTCSL
TFTC and thank you for the great location. Caches like this make it a worthwhile activity. TN L trackable.
Took us a while and realised that the closer to the tower, the less reliable GPS is, took a few steps back and then honed in for a find (It appears we missed Pandsa by only moments, as there was no trackable when we found, and Pandsa logged shortly afterwards) Thanks for the cache pills123!
Thanks to geo daughter for this find. Good to mark off another one in the local area. TFTF
Poked and prodded and worked out clue to no avail will be back. A lot of pole caps on the ground obviously from naughty cachers
After finding the cache up the road, this one is too close to give it a miss. Our hands froze during the course of the search but alas a DNF expanded search area a little more but in the end we abandoned the mission and headed back to the cars.. Thanks for the magnificent views, will give me another excuse to revisit
We all poked and prodded, well all except Canary who had found it before, in the end one of the teens found it. Thanks for bringing us up here.
Found by our geocaching group in a beautiful spot.
The new 'scenic bridge and walkway' is now in place and gives wheelchair access to the great views.
But they took away the top of the famous trig!
All was in good order with the hide.
TNLNSL.
Many thanks to pills123 for another hide in the Lithgow area.
