Thank you! Found it & remembered a pen! Was about to give up. Passed it about 10 times!
In the area to collect a purchase so thought I'd have a go at a local cache. I had a good idea of the sort of hide I was looking for but it was rather elusive at first. I was just about to give up because loitering with intent in a suburban residential Street is not a good look, even a quiet street like this, when one more potential hiding spot was spotted and there was the sort of hide I was looking for. The log was quickly signed and the cache returned all safe and sound. TFTC
Had a few ideas on where to look while approaching, and it was the first... or second. Spotted something in the third spot I might have overlooked in the past, but today I made the quick grab. Tftc
After the nearby event at Herring Island, we took the opportunity to find some nearby caches. We were lucky there was no one around here as we pulled up very close to the cache with the hazard lights on, quickly signed the log and were on our way. Thanks for the cache xambo4u.
A quick walk from the Amora to the Crown cache! Neatly hidden. Not too many muggles on a rainy day! Off caching somewhere different with Purrfect Di and Jack. Thanks to the C O for the hide and ongoing care of the cache. --------- Have you snagged a tag lately ? Time to get out and join the race to get new shiny things A cache a day keeps something away *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Going for a walk after IKEAs Swedish lunch, came across a few caches. This one was a quick and easy find. Replaced as found.
I was out and about collecting a few caches around Richmond this morning. Not many places to hide a cache here so I was onto straight away. There is nice little cafe just around the corner.
Lots of construction and trades vehicles going on nearby. I managed to nab a parking spot not too far away and after a short wander the familiar hide was spotted. Thanks xambo4u for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy. ----------------------------------------------------------The Ballarat GeoTour ends on 4 March 2024! Be sure to find all the caches and earn the souvenir before the tour is archived. Back into the city again this afternoon for another dinner event. Geoturtle37 picked me up from work, and we meandered through the suburbs finding a cache or three as we headed in.We parked illegally across the road, and quickly ran over for a quick find and sign. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, xambo4u ~~
We are on the way to an event in the city and had enough time to find a cache or two. This was a nice quick find made by OzHockeyChick. Thanks for placing the cache for us to find.
Accompanying with ALL7 and great enjoyed with this so beautiful view and nice spot to signed the log by stamp.. TFTM
63ROOS and I drive around to place find few caches and Good weather and little windy .. tks
*Cam's 25th Birthday Adventure #3*My friend Cam is having a birthday party in Eltham this evening. I've got 3 hours to make my way there on bike. How many caches can I fit in?One of my hours is already up, and I'm only on cache #5! This isn't going well. When I arrived at GZ, my phone was quite insistent on taking me a house or two down the street, pointing most definitely at people's letterboxes and garden boxes. This didn't tally up with previous logs, so I had to resort to the good ol' "where would I put a cache?"Bingo! Third find for the day... but time is a'wastin'. Decided to ditch the suburban ones and skip forward to some creek trail caches. Thanks heaps, xambou4u!
It can be difficult sometimes to spot a cache with enough room nearby to park a truck.Richmond is probably one of the harder areas to do this.Fortunately, I used to work nearby, in a factory that is now an apartment complex.I headed to a quiet street and scored an excellent parking zone near a work site.A pleasant wander through familiar back streets yielded two finds. This was the first and all is in good order here.Thank you.
bunadoorian and I had some time to kill before an appointment in Richmond so we came for a walk around this area. I found this cache well hidden. TFTC and for bringing me here xambo4u.
Nice quick find in the obvious spot. The coords on my map put it on the street between the two lanes although the coords on my gps were more accurate. Thanks.
I was in the area today to see some friends who had flown over from NZ. A nice quick retrieval here. Cache is in good condition with plenty of room in the log. TFTC
I had come to the area to do some *Big Blue Box* shopping... and afterwards decided to chase up some caches in then area. This cache was very nearly a "miss" rather than a "hit". The indicated GZ was far too far down the lane for comfort... with not feasible locations immediately obvious. Walking out, my geo-senses kicked in as I spotted a possibility... yep, it was the cache.
Thanks **xambo4u** for putting this cache here.

The last stop before the botanical Gardens and after hunting all along the front of the fences we expanded the search a bit until my friend finally located it, GPS seems to be out by around 8m or so. TFTC
I wondered where this one was likely to be as I approached gz as there didn't appear to be many possibilities. When I got there, there was only one likely place and sure enough I soon had the cache in hand. Thanks for the cache xambo4u.
Nothing at co-ords. Removable fence top in fence with crowns on buildings empty, which is where I think it may have been: David
I went here with my mate a few weeks ago but sadly we didnt find. So today Im going by myself to find this sneaky cache. I got some hints from a fellow geocacher and i realized i found it a few week ago but the magnet was to strong for me to pull out but this time i have claimed the cache. Signed and on to the next cache
Again a short drive from the previous cache and then finding a way through to GZ negotiating some blocked off streets. A relatively quick find.
Another trip to Melbourne, but this time for babysitting duties.
Mrs Skis suggested a quick trip to Ikea on the way, which is rarely quick, but this time it was so there was the opportunity to search for a few caches nearby.
Then it was off to our daughters for babysitting. In the afternoon we headed out for a walk and manage3d to find a few new caches locally. Always a bonus.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache xambo4u.

Out on a Christmas break with sir_spectre, exploring southern Victoria grabbing lots of smilies, finding caches in LGA's and of course signing a few more challenges.
Thanks for placing this cache for us to find.

Stopped to get a cache or five in a new LGA. quick find.
Left with Mogni the day before Christmas to go down to Mount Gambier for Christmas Day. Then on the 27th left for Victoria. Plan A was to go to the Ottway Rangers, complete the Geo tour in Ballarat and then head to Geelong and take the Queenscliff ferry over to Sorrento then grabbing new LGA's on route to almost the New South Wales/Victoria border and the old 2001 cache near there. Also attending a community day event, a CITO and a couple of other events as well. Then head in to the high country and come back to SA in 11 days. Things didn't go to plan. Turns out that one of my almost new tyres was defective ( side wall blown out ) and blew in the ottway ranges on a narrow road in the rainforest, Drove to Melton to stay overnight and get a new tyre there, tyre machine broken and the other 5 tyre companies not open so off to geelong for a new tyre ( and some caches on the way and in geelong ) . The event we where going to attend in geelong didn't turn out, he was late by ALOT to his own event. Then to ballarat to same day since we had a b&b booked for the next few nights. Planned on getting the ferry at 1200 and ended up on the 400 pm ferry but we did attend a event and CITO in geelong. Then we drive into the rear end of a thunder storm with forecast 20 mm dropping for the next few days. Cancel the high country and change targets to letterbox D/T for fizzy grid only using letterboxes and same wirh the multi fizzy grid plus fizzy grid only using victorian caches plus any challenge caches we where near. Plus getting a few more victorian 2001 caches. And finally any caches that had 40 more more favourite points. Only got soaked to the bone for a couple of days but the water on the tracks was noticeable. On the return home tried to get the rest of the missing LGA's around the Melbourne CBD i missed in the last mega. Still a fun trip was had if not the planned one.

Had to make a trip to the big Swedish furniture store to return some excess items and pick up a couple to finish a job.
While here, we needed a cache for the day and made a short detour to grab this cache and get out of Dodge as soon as possible, as with the works on the outbound of the Westgate Bridge, we had a circuitous route home.
We love these streets around Richmond, although parking can be a chore.
We made a nice quick find of a cache in excellent condition.
Thank you for this Traditional cache xambo4u.

Medical appointment in Hawthorn for one of the Thewins5 so a drive down for the day. So I had a couple of hours to spare so I decided to head to Richmond and walk around for a few urban caches. Happy with my returns and all nice little finds.
First one only because it was the closest to where I eventually found a park - lots of left turn only threw me. As I walked up I ignored the GPS and used my eyes and the cache was in the first spot I looked.

After feeling weird hanging out the front of someone's house I resorted to asking a mate. Nice little hide but coordinates are off by a little.
Thank you
Thank you
A walk by legging it to the shopping centre from swan street before the hawks v tigers. The pie shop was closed but we will find one later at the mcg. Cache found quickly and in good condition. tftc
A good carpark today outside the pie shop but alas it was closing when I arrived. It was a quick find of the geocache today, well hidden in a logical location. Thanks for placing and maintaining the cache xambo4u
T4TC, several attempts was needed for this one. Difficult sia, coz GZ was off by 5m. Thanks to a geocacher help & final round was with geoson. I looked at that area several times, simply geoblind. Spotted , sign log & off. Greetings from Singapore
TFTC xambo4u! what a clever hide, almost ready to give up, had already passed it by sever times& touched it

Over in Melbourne for a few days of work to and some time to kill so why not grab a cache.
Many thanks to xambo4u for placing and maintaining Richmond Crown. I found it, I signed it, and put it back as found.

A quick find as the most logical location held this nicely done geocache.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find today.

I nearly completely lost it for everyone. But retrieved it and signed. TFTC
Loads of muggles but a bit of patience paid off. 4 people opposite eventually moved away. Tftc
Not often un Richmond these days but dropped in just before new year for an easy find here. Thanks.
Quick easy find while I was in the area - didn’t have a pen on me, but I have attached a photo for proof of find. TFTC
One of the neighbours was out walking their dog as I approached the GZ.
He stood staring at me as I walked past and continued down the street.
I walked around the block, and found the street deserted when I returned.
The cache was an easy find.
Thanks for the cache xambo4u

xambo4u: Sadly, metropolitan Melbourne is now back under Stage 3 COVID-19 restrictions. As a result, I am disabling this cache during this heightened period of risk.
This is my first in a very long time. I often frequent Burnley Street but would never get a truck down this one.

Great little find whilst on a night stroll through Richmond. I like the execution of this Geocache, nice one!
Interesting walk through bits of Richmond I’ve not seen before. Thanks for being me here, Xambo4u.
Quick little find on this gorgeous day after work. Log is in great shape. A type of find I’m used to SL TFTC
This is a good "Urban" cache for the boys and their cousin.. Some of the earlier comments certainly assist..
In the area and needed a find to cross another day of the calendar. After reading the previous logs, the search area was narrowed down and the find quickly ensued. Tftc
After a very early morning drive I decided that it would be a good idea to get a cache before the muggles emerged. It was still dark when I arrived at GZ and my GPS and map showed this cache between 2 terrace houses. After looking for a short while there I decided it may be more likely in the nearby alley, and thats where I found it. A clever hide xambo4u TFTC.
