First ever cache found, that was fun!!

Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I live full-time in our caravan travelling around NZ, visiting the places we want to visit & doing the things we want to do and fitting in a bit of Geocaching here & there we are currently heading South again staying near Wanganui for a couple of days Mrs MCmike2012 wanted to come out here for a wander as she really like Gardens, Bush Walks, Nature Reserves & the like I like it when they have Geocaches included an easy find, wonderful views, signed the logbook & replaced the cache were pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally TFTC ... TN:LN:LS #5,939 for Us!

Found it, but I feel maybe it wasn't exactly where it was meant to be? Same place but along a little. We put it back where we found it, though.

Sad to have found nada where the previous finders found so easily. Is it possible that when the last casher got muggled, it was removed? Searched a long time on my belly & with a flashlight here [see photo] but no luck.

Caching with rattll today at the Bason Gardens. Lunch at the shelter, then a short hunt for the cache. Took longer than expected as I missed the hide on my first sweep. Fortunately rattll has better eyes then me! All good in the container. Tftc!

Cool find on a beautiful day

First find for my kids - just needed a bit of courage to reach!

I had signed up for an event called 'The Mudder' in Marton, at the Rangitikei Farmstay, and thought that it was the perfect excuse to take a couple of days off work and go on a 5-day road trip to Whanganui and Palmerston North. All up I travelled 1,650km and found over 200 caches/ad lab stages mostly targeting high favs.The gardens were practically deserted today. This certainly made searching for this cache much easier. It was more of a reach to grab the cache than I expected but got it in the end.

Caching our way through the gardens following the AdLab trail.
This took me ages to locate as I somehow missed it on the first pass. Grubby knees stayed with me for the rest of the day

Found on a cycle circuit from Wanganui to Kai Iwi Beach, Kai Iwi and back via Brunswick Road. What a wonderful reserve TFTC

Staying in Whanganui for a few nights, todays trip was to the gardens here. We had strolled around most of the gardens by now, (including counting a whole bunch of steps) and we’re pretty damn hot so took a moment under the shade of the gazebo for some snacks. Had a good search where coordinates were pointing, couldn’t find anything so expanded a wee bit and soon had cache in hand.

Snapped by Etherlord and The Seagnoid driving past. Got a 'further left' from the car window It was quite a bit further left than the point I first got fixated on. Here for an event today. TFTC.

Found quickly by Flowerydaze just before a large party arrived to hold a picnic, luckily we had found it before they arrived otherwise it would have been too busy to search. Thanks adventure collectors for placing this cache.

We were very fortunate, weather-wise, to have a beautiful day to admire the view. The gardens were lovely and there were a few muggles already roaming around enjoying them. Cache was a nice quick find. TFTC
