Lovely spot for a multi by the sea...

I messed up the east coords and scooted off to... well, to nowhere useful Did a quick recalc with an online calculator that accepted more numbers and soon at the correct GZ. A tall muggle helped with the retrieval.

A Terrain 2 would be more appropriate Smile

Found on a cold but sunny day during the mid winter holidays. Best time of year to come to a Loch Sport without being eaten alive by mosquitos.

Find # 10753

Found while travelling with sharkiefan, on an extended long weekend.

Today we headed south to Loch Sport, back along the Shoreline Drive, adjacent to 90mile beach. Had a quick visit to Seaspray then back to Sale for the Arvo. After dinner we headed out multi hunting, and got a couple of trads too . This put us up in Maffra and we finally got back to the Motel just after midnight.

Loved the way this multi works, so simple but unique.

This was an excellent multi. I like it when they are straight forward and there isnt too far to travel. A favourite. Tftc

Took longer to find the phone number than it should have, but then was a straightforward find.
Good safe hiding spot.

We arent too good at multis, so we weren't confident we could sort this one out. So much so that we left the pen in the car!! LOL. Funnily enough we got it first time around and we soon had the cache in hand, albeit on tippy toes!! tftc
Edited because I put in the wrong date! OOps

Multis aren’t really our strong point but this year, so far, we are rocking them big time!!! Woohoo!! Another that we didn’t stuff up first time round. Whilst staying nearby(ish) we headed in to Loch Sport to have a bit of a look around. Such a pretty place and everybody is so friendly. Tftc

DNF. I believe the signs on and around the jetty have changed, and I couldnt find any numbers to enable me to solve the multicache

04-Oct-20
We're fairly certain that waypoint 1 is no longer there Sad
Message sent to C.O. but no response to confirm unfortunately.

After a fruitless morning fishing we decided to search for a couple of caches before heading home with our tail between our legs. The walk out the jetty was pleasant as the wind had dropped off. Found what we needed then off to get the rest of the figures. spent some time looking before coming up with the goods.
Checked out the rest of the foreshore before heading home after enjoying our day out

We had a weekend break in Loch Sport and after a morning of enjoying the sun and some paddling on the SUP we decided to take the 4WD track though to Point Wilson. I made the find there but after a fun family arvo I had no time for caching. Luckily I was tasked with heading out to pick up fish 'n' chips for dinner and was able to take a circuitous route and pick up another four caches. This was my final stop and I was glad all the waypoints were pretty close together. Just as well too as the weather was closing in and just after I jumped back in the car the heavens opened. A neat multi with no problems at any of the waypoints and a quick find at GZ. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the multi cache Poiter.h.

Aaah a Poiter,h multi, now this will be interesting.

We got the required info to find WP1 and were soon calculating WP2, then the quick find at GZ. Noted TB in cache, but left for someone else to move on.

All in all a nice cache to help keep the grey matter active. Thanks Poiter.h for the placement here. We'd never seen the jetty or boat ramp before, so thanks for bringing us here.

13-Jan-19
Found with Exportswede. Quick little multi that took us around a lovely area of Loch Sport. Easy find, in good condition. Left TB and ribbon, took soldier and Lego figure. TFTC!

Found with Parkermon on a trip through Gippsland. Left a marine ribbon and a trackable, took a Lego figure and a soldier. TFTC!

20-Oct-18
We did this one with the kids - it was our first multi and we loved it!

25-Apr-18
We are spending five days in Stratford to explore the area. After a gunfire breakfast at the ANZAC Day dawn service and with no particular place to go we followed our nose south.

We arrived in time to see a few people wandering in the direction of the RSL but they had no interest in what we were doing. Pretty sure waypoint two has been physically relocated in some parking lot renovations but we were able to spot it to gather the remaining information.

Had quite Some fun! Building works made this a little tricky but still very doable!

05-Sep-17
I finished with patient number one early and headed down here to get started on the multi. I had to do a squat-walk to stay on top of the jetty because the wind threatened to dump me overboard! I found the required information and calculated back in the car out of the wind. A dash to freedom showed up more info which was taken back to the car for analysis. A third dash with some physical work and much stretching led to a signature. TFTC Poiter.h! This one has quite a bit of unlove on it, poor thing!

14-Jan-17
I had come down to Loch Sport for a kayak event that unfortunately was cancelled due to very strong winds. Well of course I had to hunt out this little multi. Waypoints found where they were supposed to be and GZ was a nest hide. Thanks Poiter.h for a well set out multi.

11-Jan-17
We were having a cruisy sort of day, so after lunch we wandered down the pier and collected the information required. We were soon at the next stop and calculating the final hide.
Unfortunately a young family was having a picnic lunch close by so I decided to leave the cache retrieval until another time.
After a drive into Seaspray, we returned to make a quick find and signed the log. Thanks Poiter.h for a well laid out multi with good waypoints.
We enjoyed this cache on a lazy caching day

Out with gwd.aussie enjoying the day off with a bit of caching.
Thought with it being a public holiday it would have been busier but maybe everyone was indoors watching the Melbourne Cup.
After collecting all the information and calculating the final coordinates we very quickly had the cache in hand.

Thanks Poiter.h

Out caching with D@geo on Sunday.

A nice calm day at the jetty today.
Only a couple of people fishing, and a couple of boats getting put into the water.
Easy to workout and find the cache. thank you

This is the 3rd cache of the day.
This is my 1298th cache all up.

Thank you for the hide Poiter.h Smile

29-Oct-15
A couple of days on the south coast and a few smilies to snare. Don't usually worry about multis when we are on the road but this is such a beautiful spot so why not.
Thanks Poiter.h

A ***FTF*** to the greynomads.
Turned out to be fairly difficult, as the co-ords sent us back where we started. A really good hunt in the cold got us frustrated enough to contact the C.O.. Apparently there had been an error in his working. Armed with the correct co-ords we followed the other clues and made a fairly quick find. A beautiful spot to visit.
Dropped off a Lithuanian geocoin which has been travelling with us for a while and took nothing
Thanks for the cache Poiter.h - enjoyed it
cheers
