2/10/2024 Find #7168Out today with 1GiantPanda to get him some driving hours up. Performed a little maintenance on the cache - replaced logsheet as old one was mouldy and crunchy, and removed the plastic bag someone had put the cache in. Grabbed a tether for the cache and have attached it so it doesnt disappear. Seems to be devoid of any camo tho. Thanks for the cache Beckster22.
This was my very first cache! Unfortunately the log is wet, so I was unable to sign but nonetheless was pretty cool to find!
Found today! Original log is wet and falling apart. Added a fresh price of paper and plastic to try protecting it. Yay super excited this is my second one
Taking the blue beast out of a run, we saw a red bellied black snake and two hares between the berries and buzzing. Unfortunately the cache guardians had lost his cache but it was just in the grass . After signing the log we carefully put it back, hopefully were it was meant to be.
I thought the bougainvillea may have been the friend the hint was referring too. Found the little buffalo hiding at the most likely spot. All is good with this one
#6 for the day. Headed this way a week or so ago but decided the track was too rough in my 2 wheel drive. Back again today in the jeep. We decided to do these few before hitting the water.

Beckster22 I found your cache Creature 4 Just buzzing on 3/10/2022, 10:25 am. This is my find 4306 and find # 1 today. Found it after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
On my way from Canberra to North Queensland with a few detours for shires. TFTC.
I thought the buzzer was it at first. Quickly found after.

Today, I started out the day with a visit to Caboolture finding a cluster of geocaches around Central Lakes Park. Subsequently, the plan was a kayak paddle in Pumicestone Channel as per the organised event by Peppa and patrol14. We then used the occasion to find a few geocaches in the *Little Bird* series by kayak. After lunch, we then formed a small group to continue to find a few more *Little Bird* series geocaches by vehicle and walking, before we all had to rush home from taking a long day out.
With my remaining time available and left in this area, I decided to detour past a small cluster of geocaches in the middle of the peninsula. After parking my car, the cache was a quick find as I approached, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Beckster22 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

With time before the Beachmere event, Giraffe18 and I thought just a couple more… we’re in the wrong car for dirt roads though… I said we didn’t really need, but Giraffe18 insisted…
Giraffe18 spotted the guardian… I spotted the container on the ground… without fishing line in my bag I used something we’re all supposed to have… the strap from a mask…

TFTC. Located and signed the log and returned it as I found it however *Note* be careful when retrieving cache or it could easily go out of reach. Nice easy find.
I stopped by to find this cache and parked close to GZ where the guardian was spotted. On opening the container I found the log wet and disintegrating managed to squeeze a signature on but I don’t think another signature will be able to be entered. Loved the cache idea. Thanks Beckster22
Today I had the pleasure to join Chamad, TripleTurmoil and later on Willis007 for a day of caching. Our initial target for the day was the land based Bird caches while also grabbing several other caches on our travels. We then moved on to Bribie Island to attend an event to have a brief break from caching duties and mingle amongst fellow cachers, luckily we dressed for the weather because that bitterly cold wind would rip straight through you, brrr!
After the event we decided to stay put on Bribie Island to grab the remaining caches that we missed on our last visit, I think we’ll need a 4x4 for the remaining ones however.
Thank you for showing us around these wonderful locations, we had an absolute blast.
Apologies for the generic log.

This morning it was triple turmoil, Nayfee and myself on a clean-up mission of the area. We were working our way to a lunchtime event on Bribie Island. With a few birds to collect and a few others as we passed by, we had plenty to get before the event. It was a fun morning and a successful round up of new and old active caches.
This was the third cache of the day for me. It was a short drive around and a nice area. At gz it was an easy find and im glad there are none of this guy’s friends around here. With our names in the log we were onto the next on the list. Thank you for the cache and keeping this one going.

With an event in the area, Chamad, Nayfee and I decided to make a day of it, finding what we could before and after the event. This cache container was different. I like that.
Out for a routine Saturday ride on the MTB. After swimming through the trails just south of here it was good to be back on dry land and take a quick break to check out the creature.
Unfortunately the log was soaked and my pen was simply ripping the paper not writing.

On the way back towards the highway and north home after a fun afternoon with lots of adventures around Glasshouse mountains, Caboolture and Beachmere, we managed to squeeze in this second last one for the day.
We pulled up and spotted it from the car. The "creature' was not attached though and I found it on the ground. I tried to secure it closer to the cache. A lizard was visiting the cache as well as I signed the log.

Quick find as lying on the ground near the tree. Nothing to hang it back, so can’t hide it any better. Will do our best.
Was expecting some form of winged creature and after much searching I happened to turn around and there was the little beastie right in front of my nose! Awesome fog this morning! Tftc
Bit of an eerie feeling arriving at GZ with the area shrouded in fog. The fog was that thick it was literally dripping from the trees. Found no buzzy but eventually came across a precariously hanging container and it's loose tether. With a deft change here and there, the cache is now hanging proud again. Thanks Beckster22 for setting up this cache.
Out with the Geokids or sometimes I can call muggle. We nice drive up to the Sunshine Coast. Then will were hit by rain. So return Beachmere area to do some caching there.
Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. Beckster22 TFTC *458* streak. *2774* Finds

The grass around the area is extremely overgrown and feels pretty dangerous to walk through as you can’t see the where you are treading. (I was scared of snakes and so I couldn’t look properly)
Getting a little closer to Bribie, angloj and I made a little detour to a couple of caches down this way. After a little hunt angloj got a little surprise at just where it was. Great hide and TFTC Beckster22
Took a little longer than it should of as my gps was playing up sending me to either side of the road but persisted near the fence and success!
Heading out for a day of hunting with IolantheK. I was early to avoid the traffic, so I had time for a few extra hunts along the way.
Still dark when I arrived at this one. I am impressed I spotted it quickly.

Day 43 Mainland trip
Out and about with Tassie Trekkers and Roostaman finding caches around Ningi, Donnybrook, Toorbul and surrounds. We enjoyed our drive around. Everything is so green. Found 5 m out, luckily as gpsr put us right in the bougainvillea spikes! TFTC

Caching in and around Tookbul and surrounds, we picked up a few caches with Whitewebbs and Roostaman and this was one of them.
Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

**# 24573** Found on our 2019 trip to Qld for winter.
A fine Autumn day for a drive around with Tassie Trekkers and whitewebs.
Not that many muggles around here today and many good safe hides.
Thanks for the cache Beckster22,

First find on the first day of Cache.Carnival, yeay! This was a quick and easy find. Tftc.
While staying at Elimbah we ventured out and found this cache. Exploring these areas is fun and generally very scenic. Thankyou Beckster22 for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area
TFTC second time searching for this one come up with the goods, got very wet today searching for this series.
This morning traveling to some early caches i got stung by quite a few of these creatures thankfully none around this cache TFTC
Today, we wanted to head over to Bribie to visit friends, and change some books at the Bribie Book Exchange. Planned to pick up some caches around Beachmere that I don't think were in the area last time we were through. Well cammo'd, Mr D thought he might get stung. Thanks Beckster22
Came out for a drive to gather some numbers before a major event next week. It was a beautiful day for caching with the shining sun. Stopped for a fish and chip lunch along beach.
Day trip to Bribie Island.
We planned out tour today following the geocaching trail
This took us to various locations & a good selection of caches found.
The 1st creature we found today, if they are like this one they are going to be tricky to find.

It's Thursday Fun Day and I'm out with barbb and Mrs JAT. This was cache #2 for the day and it was barbb who made the find. My excuse was that all the cloud cover and humidity were affecting my phone's accuracy . The native bees had the last laugh when a couple decided to take offence at bb being in the neighbourhood of their home and gave her a not so friendly nip (they don't sting, but can bite). TFTC Beckster22, very cute cache guardian
**Smilie #4841**
An afternoon free meant heading north to convert a few icons into smilies.
We were surprised how quickly we found this one.
Straight to it like a moth to flame!
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Out with Nurseyjulie, finding a few caches in the area. This one had us searching for longer than it should have [:o] Once I started looking at the right height, the cache was quickly spotted. TFTC
A day out with Selvagirls picking up caches in the Beachmere locale. What a busy road here! We were up and down along the fence line and SG had the height to spot this one. TFTC Beckster22
Found the right height quite quickly and signed log. Well constructed cache, thanks Beckster22.
Had a few hours up or sleeves today so hubby and i decided to make the most of it. Had no clear direction in mind just thought we would go wherever the road leads us!
This was the first stop. We've done a couple of the other creature caches so i knew what i was looking for. Found it nice and quick. TFTF

After hunting around in all the wrong spots for a while eventually located the cache companion!
Very cute! The first creature cache I've found from this series.

Our last creature cache for the day and all were enjoyed. The geodaughter made light work of this and now hopefully she won't be screaming at home about the odd moth, cockroach, snake or evil spirit.
Before searching for this cache we did call into the fruit shop on the main Bribie road and bought 2kg of local strawberries. They were cheap as but quite small and delicious. Across the road from GZ we had a picnic for 10 minutes eating strawberries and talking about bugs. tftc
