### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there cruisinblues,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers don't have a crystal ball, so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, or you have been in hospital, or the area is in flood, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).

Looking at the logs this has been needing since June 2021.

Perfect day for a walk and do a few caches on the way.
This cache is in very poor condition and requires urgent attention by owner.

Out with the Geodaughter who got to this one whilst I attended to the bub. Tricky to get to hence the terrain rating, hence the daughter finding it lol. Unfortunately cache needs repair or urgent attendance.
First day out after our lockdown and what better than some Fish n Chips in Queenscliff. Not to mention some Geocaches to walk off our lunch. TFTC cruisinblues. From the track up is doable. We're both on the wrong side of 70 and it was a challenge. Its been a very long time. TNLN All not so good at GZ. The container needs urgent repair.
Didn’t even attempt this one with the kids. Very overgrown now and verging on dangerous as it is hard to tell with all the scrub where the earth actually is because the land drops away!! Sorry!!
Found it the day after the dogs won the semi finals and funny there is a bulldog footy card in the container. Fun little find
Bypassed @ 12:14 with The Good Lady Wife
The family is on a mid-school holiday break since we can get away for this one, and chose the Queenscliff area to chill out (based on the current weather, that is literally as well as figuratively). Every break has to involve some caching so TGLW and I found a few caches while getting some exercise along the rail trail.
We got close to GZ on the path, but couldn't spot a nice way in that wouldn't trash the area and me, I then tried a similar approach from below with the same result - so decided to bypass this one.
Thanks anyway cruisinblues

Finally!!
Horrible way down, worse way up. We certainly didn't enjoy this one at all. However we did finally get there in the end despite the obstacles.
For several months now we have been doing regular caching runs with Rebel Acts, but commitments put a stop to that for a while. We have come down to stay in Geelong for a week or two, and invited Rebel to come for a few nights so we could complete some of the numerous caches around here. As usual we have signed our Joint find logs RASH (Rebel Acts SKI Pair).
The weather started out miserable today so we decided to stick with as many caches as possible that we could get from the car. A few short trails helped with with the numbers, and we were very pleased to see a number of small and regular caches instead of the micro and nanos we often find doing trails. Well done to the Bellarine CO's, its great to find the bigger
containers.

Found no problems after dealing with the terrain, which was made a lot harder while raining! Tftc
Terrain looked too tricky for an old girl like me, so sent my daughter down but even she found the scrub too thick and prickly.
This was a little tricky to reach
Then a bit tricky to find. Finally got there. TFTC

Split a bit of blood for the team for this one, the find was made, so naturally it was worth it. Thanks for the cache cruisinblues.
Another one for the recent string of converting blue saddies to yellow smilies. The youngest member of the pantspeople made the grab this time, using a very handy pokey stick. TFTC.
Very tricky, read all the comments and looked at all the photos to no avail. Peph and geodoggo defeated
So many prickles and bees hard one. Question do u have to go on the train tracks
Found eventually! was very tricky and prickly though, expect to get hurt in some way gettin this!! TFTC!
Out and about in Queenscliff today with the kids trying to clear off some unfinished caches. This was a bit of fun trying to get to it, go all the way down and come up just a bit. TFTC
Out with au.fait on a very windy day, we walked along the rail trail gathering a few caches on the way. Once we had selected our access route it was fairly straight forward. One needs to be agile, as the ‘train’ is very old indeed !!!
Thanks cruisinblues.
Thanks cruisinblues.
The Train is very old and is unlikely to be getting any upgrades... especially at the moment.
I was trying to decided what cache to attack for today's find for my cache a day streak so I was looking through my list of very few caches left to find in the Geelong Area and saw that Harrowang had dropped a PT here yesterday so I thought this was a good time to tick this cache of my to do list.
I parked my car and found my way in to try and find the hide and I must have gotten really lucky because I found my prize almost immediately after I scramble up to the first attempt to look at. With a few DNF here in the past I expected to take a lot long to locate it. Some day's you just get lucky. Normally I look for ages and it is right in front of my eye.
Unfortunately someone had already beaten me to the PT as it was no longer in the cache. Some you win and some you lose.
Thank you cruisinblues for the hide

A return visit after a DNF in October 2018. The area is a bit more overgrown, but we found a way to where the pirates might have hidden and also a cache in good condition. SL at 10.37am Left: deer PT Another smiley along the Trail. TFTC cruisinblues #6947
This cache is close to my parents place. Whilst down from brisbane, I couldn't resist logging this cache so close to home
This cache was not quite where we expected it to be but we got there in the long run. SL TFTC
Exploring the town on day two of QMF after seeing the trail from the blues train. TFTC. We climbed down then up to GZ and made the find.
A quick find once in the right location.. bit of a close walk to the blues train!

After finding our main target caches for this trip, we now headed over to the G2Q trail to find a few before heading back to the ferry.
We arrived near this one and thought is the GPS correct, do we have to go there and how, eventually we made our way to GZ with a lot of searching along the way just incase but in the end the coordinates weren't too bad and the cache was eventually located just had to take to long way around.
**Thanks to cruisinblues for placing this cache.**

What better way to spend Melbourne cup by taking the ferry across to Queenscliff and jumping on the bike to do the G2Q and some others. This one certainly took some searching and it does help to be on the right level.

While out hiking the Bellarine Rail Trail we of course stopped off to search for this cache too. Once down at the right level we soon located the cache. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
We took the longer but easier option to get to his cache which reminded us a bit from a scene in Stand by Me. A quick find with good coords and we were grateful for the long pants today with plenty of prickly bits around. TFTC
Was searching around along the train line, then I heard a train coming and decided to give up.
this one way a bit of a journey down some slopes, watch out for the thorn trees.I got a few scratches on my legs

Out for the day visiting this beautiful part of the world. I had been enjoying myself through the day and Mr X had been running training at the bowling club. Walked along the railway line (not sure if I should have but saw other down there). Saw the geo trail up and there was the next but no parrots today. Nice easy find. Easy to get up, should have come down that way. Thanks for the cache cruisinblues
I tried to find this one from the top. Massive fail. I decided on a different approach which was much better and safer. I am no pirate but love parrots. Do pirates like geocaching. I left a tiny TB for someone to grab and relocate
Unfortunately, there were no parrots or any other bird life here today but it was a great day for a walk. Thanks for the cache.
We were down in Geelong for the weekend and decided to take a stroll and collect some of the caches along this track. Thanks for the cache.
The eldest GeoKid had a curriculum day today so I decided that her watching movies/iPad all day while I worked from home didnt quite fit within the 24 degree forecast. A last minute annual leave booking was given the green light so we set iff without bikes in search of sun, adventure and smileys. Starting out at Lakers Siding, we cycles all the way into Queenscliff picking up caches along the way until someone's tummy started grumbling too much, at which point we legged it to the fish and chip shop, had lunch by the harbour and then rode back to the car. Roughly 13km covered all up, which I am incredibly impressed with for a 6 year old who has not long learned to ride.
Thanks CO's for your placements along here, definitely a nice way to spend a Friday.

An old-school bush bash. I'm not sure how others did it, but I appeared to have passed through someone's cubby house.
Thanks heaps, cruisinblues!

Had to do a bit of hunting high and low for this one. Eventually found it lying in the open not quite at GZ. Replaced where it should have been.
We missed this one on our way out, but having a nice line of smileys, was more determined to find it on our way back. Geodad and kids ventured down with the agreement they would all squawk loudly like parrots if the found the cache. Soon a ruckus was ringing out and the cache was in hand. TFTC
The only cache we couldn't find today (apart from the one we weren't committed enough for). It looked like the coordinates were up a hill we couldn't climb, but we will be back for sure. TFTC nonetheless.
Tricky find amongst the prickly bushes! Waved to the Blues Train as it went past for the music festival

Just as i gave up and start head back bingo there it was. Not a good udea to wear shorts
We were out exploring the area and enjoying the School Holidays today.
Such a wonderful Sunny day for some geocaching.
Fantastic spot, thanks for placing the cache for us to find.
This took having to get down to the train track and coming up to find.
Glad for jeans too some of those spikes from the bushes were sharp!

22/09/2017 1:52:00 PM - Out looking for a cache or two with my caching friend Square_Pegs and so we stopped here to find this hidden prize after failing to find it ages ago. Not sure how we missed it last time but today it was a quick find by SP. The plant growth here has been impressively substantial since our last visit.

After a previous DNF we returned today for another try. As can happen this time it was a quick find, as we expanded our search area to somewhere that we probably didn't try last time. No trains running today either as they were on our last visit. With the weather forecast predicting a warm and sunny day, abl973 and I decided to head to the Bellarine Peninsula. It was an ideal time to visit with clear skies and wonderful sunshine.
Thanks to cruisinblues for placing this cache.

Didn't think I had better try this until my ankle improves. I will be back. Thanks for another reason to visit this lovely town.
We thought today would be a good day to start tackling some of the Queenscliff caches. Almost winter. Midweek. Cold. The perfect caching weather!
Overall, a pretty underwhelming day with 8/10 finds from nearly 5 hours!
Many thanks to all the owners for their cache placements.

Half a day in Queenscliff with Ketchthor trying to mop up a few caches at the end of the rail-trail (there's still ALOT of the trail to complete!). The weather was fairly erratic - sun, rain, rain, wind etc. so our mission was curtailed somewhat. We managed to find a few caches -Queenscliff was strangely deserted so muggles weren't an issue. Thanks to the cache owners for placing/maintaining etc.
In town for my brother in laws wedding this weekend. We had a few hours between ceremony and dinner so I thought I'd pick up the handful of caches I haven't found in Queenscliffe.
This was number 4 on the list today. Once I found a good place to get down to the rail line it was an easy stroll then up the little bank to find the cache. Log book is a bit damp but still signable.
Started to hear the train whistle as I was leaving so I scurried along.

Looked potentially too dangerous to search in the bush for this one... decided to give it a miss
Out for a day on the G2Q trail with Moneydork. Starting from below worked the best.
A little bit of a scramble getting to and from this cache. I managed to collect a few scratches from a thorny plant on the way down. The GPS was fairly stable indicating where GZ was but no sign. Widened the search a little and eventually found the cache a few metres away. Nice challenge. TFTC
I kept hearing the train but lobster6 7 and I found the cache and signed the log before it appeared. The whistle is getting louder....
Our pen refused to sign this logbook. A bit of a mission going to GZ, so a bit sad that we could not fulfill the complete task. No spare paper as we are on vacation and do not have the usual repair kit with us. Thanks for the hide, maybe the next cacher can add some new paper.
The first challenge with this cache was working out how to access. There may be a better way, but we found a rough track and when combined with some bush bashing, we got down to the railway line about 30m from GZ. Then a short walk along the line got us within 5m of GZ. A short scramble and we were there for a quick find. Unfortunately the cache, in particular the logbook, was very wet but just signable. It certainly needs attention. Thanks crusinblues for the cache.

After some lovely lunch in Queenscliff, we were able to check out some caches in town. I remember exploring this part of Queenscliff when finding Benito's Treasure. It was great to be back here again today. A quick find, once we worked out where we had to be! Thanks for the cache cruisinblues.

Contents of container very soggy and looking mildewy/mouldy and generally unpleasant.
Happy Father's Day! Took a trip down to Queenscliff and the excellent kiosk at Rip View carpark before heading out for a walk along the rail trail and Swan Bay.
This one was quite the adventure. GeoHubby slipped on the final section of the descent, so the rest of us stayed up in the bushes while he went to check out the GZ. GeoKids got bored and restless waiting, and it started to rain, but finally the call of "Found it!" was heard.
Contents of container unfortunately less than pleasant, being quite wet and looking mildewy/mouldy. Decided against disturbing anything, and took a photo as evidence in lieu of signing (touching!) the log.

Enjoyed a lovely day with CBJH1990 on our push bikes from Drysdale to Queenscliff. Was a long trip there stopping for caches along the way. 66 finds and 3 DNF's for the day. Thank you to the cache owners who thoughtfully placed them all! TFTC
