3rd and final find in the area before heading back to the event. GPSr took us right to the cache and the log was soon being signed. Another neat little forest...wooded area I've vistied while in the UK.

A nice walk through the woods to find this nice quick easy cache. Have been here many times and yet am always surprised how lovely it is here just sitting and watching the dragon flies near the pond. TFTC
Out picking up a couple of caches with the little'un before heading back to the common for a pub lunch. We had a good look for frogs at the pond but it may have been a bit warm for them today. The cache itself was quickly spotted and the log book signed and replaced as found.

I was in the area today with friends from a group who do conservation work at Ashridge and who also walk socially sometimes. Our route today took us past the pond (and of course the cache!) where there were at least 6 dogs in the water (including mine) and nearby was a poor heron trying hard to concentrate on getting lunch. Credit to the heron-it kept staring at the water hopefully until we all left-hope it didn't stay hungry for long. The cache itself was quickly found-thanks.
Walking from Chipperfield to Latimer visiting a couple of caches en route. A pleasant walk to this quiet shady spot and the cache was soon in hand. Thanks for bringing me here.

Nice easy find, suprised you don't see it until your right on top of it as its pretty open TFTC
Cachng in the area with Alibags today, we parked near the cricket pitch, where there was a match in full swing, and made our way into the woods. It was particularly nice to get in amongst the trees today as it was so hot and sunny out, so the shade was very welcome. A short walk brought us close to the pond, but he GPS was pointing us to a spot just short of it and a nice quick find, so having signed the log we went and had a wander around it watching the dragonflies and across the pond, a small and very reluctant dog being encouraged to have a swim.
Thanks for the cache.and bringing me here.
Sixth of eight finds for me today.

Out caching with IB Searching. This was back to a familiar spot for me, having been caching on the common before. Last visit included being stung on the hand by a wasp and searching for ages near this pond for a micro with a clue that was something like "to the left of the tree". This time there was no wasps, the pond was full of daft muggle dogs splashing about and we found the cache relatively quickly!
