Found on a trip to Western Australia from Adelaide with FeatherWaite.Today we travelled from near Balladonia to the Goldfields north-east of Kalgoorlie, finding a few caches of interest along the way.We had passed by this cache around a year ago, but it was late in the afternoon and we didn't have the time to do it. Today we drove in around the base of the hill as close as we could then took the steep route up to take in the views.Cache and contents are in good order. Thanks PollyTheCollie for the cache.
Found with e.gregory1 during a trip to WA for a few weeks. Spent an hour or so caching around Kambalda mid-morning before heading up to Kalgoorlie for a late lunch then out to Kanowna and beyond for the afternoon. Having passed by on a previous visit, this cache was beckoning, so a steep scramble up the eastern face of the hill had us finally claim the find. Thanks for the cache Pollythecolie!
Bit of a jaunt East of Perth to the Goldfields.
Good caches, good times and loads of fun.
Thanks for the hide.

Another group effort to find and log this cache. Options for getting to the top go from hard to impossible.
Thanks for the cache on the way home from Queen Victoria springs.

Great to be back in Kal and managed to add names to this cache. Took the card up the top of the hill and saved the breath for the views TFTH
Off on an adventure with Team Red Roo, Neva2old, Cravo10, Beaker, Geotrakka and Lyn Pat & Nathan for a few days/nights with the aim to visit Queen Victoria Spring and surrounding area.
Had a great time and looking forward to the next one.
Thanks for the cache

Hi there PollyTheCollie - finally our trip to Queen Victoria Spring (via Cundelee) has come. As a group of 8 we travelled out to QVS yesterday and our return to Kalgoorlie via the Nippon Highway. We found this cache at 0246pm after a short search - and the container and log are as noted in the Fieldnotes below. TN, LN, SL. Thanks to PollyTheCollie for this cache - the 3rd of 9 finds for the day.
FieldNotes: The cache and log were both found in good condition.

Arrived in Kal after a road trip with Neva2old and sharing many laughs along the way. We spent our 1st night in Southern Cross where we joined forces with Beaker to continue our drive to Kalgoorlie to set up camp for an event. Then off to Queen Victoria Springs with a group of 4x4 adventurers to camp under the stars.
I love this part of WA - great to be back here again.
I found your cache PollyTheCollie which added to my adventures. Thanks for placing it. Your cache makes my 6169 find.
Wild ride up to this one! Yeehaw!

Decided to park at the bottom and walk up the hill, rather breathless by the time we got to the top and equally breathless from the views. Tftc
God luck if you can drive up from the lake side! I walked it, as its a company car with lot of paper work to fill out if it gets damaged. TFTC
Staying in Kalgoorlie for a few days, we spent the day exploring the town & its surrounds, this one was an unexpected find on our drive from cache to cache We initially got quite close to the top, but we we unsure what the last 200m would entail so headed to another track that we thought looked easier on the satellite view
What appeared to be easier, definitely wasn’t but we decided that we would just walk to the top rather than wasting more time going back to where we started There must be an event happening here soon as there where arrows painted on the tracks so we followed them all the way finding some places of interesting on our hike!
Cache was a great find with spectacular views, even if we didn’t drive to the top Thanks for showing us Polliethecollie… & TFTC

Travelling the back roads of Kalgoorlie with richlink, using geocaches as our guide. We encountered lots of red tracks, corrugations and flies along the way.
We chose to walk to GZ and enjoyed the Views to Tropicana.
Thanks Pollythecolie.

Out and about with ILT caching rural and red dirt tracks - our preferred caching. Left our accommodation early and headed out to this cache. Geo-hubby’s enjoyed the trek to go to make a quick find. Thanks Pollythecollie
Found 9/8/21 barely any service forgot to log, this is the best one I’ve hunted for so far was nicely hidden not impossible to find but definitely not obvious
Had to walk up as I was in a 2wd ute with highway looking tires.
A grey day, no views to be had.
More than a year since the last online log but a few more recent in the logbook.
Thank you for hiding this geocache Pollythecolie

Beautiful view! Found some good camping spots along the way, kids weren’t so keen on some of the tracks lol
Coor wish I had proper shoes for this and brought some water with me. Still the views from the top were worth the climb. The TFTC
TFTC Geohubby and geoson took one for the team while we sat in the shade at the bottom
Thanks for the cache I stayed at the bottom but child cacher went up and found it with her uncle cacher
I took a run out to Kanowna to pick up some local GC's. I haven't been out here since the early 1980's, so thanks to the CO's for bringing me back. I didn't like the look of the track, so I did it in 2 foot drive, a bit of a struggle on a warm day, but WOW! what a view. The granite was playing havoc with my GPSr, so I put it down as a marker and did a circular search and soon had the container in hand. I picked this one up at 12:55 this afternoon. A pity that people use the bush to dump their rubbish. This might be a good spot on the next CITO day.
Blench gang 4wd almost made it to the top. Decided to walk the rest of the way. Great views TFTC
Found with clan Bacon Dolphin took doll and left orica bottle opener and a die.
Well drove up to the top – last 150 metres was interesting – took it slow & steady – enjoyed the view & cache also – a fav for me - TFTC / TFTH / SL
Gorgeous place. Walked the last 300m - wouldn't like to take my car up there. TFTC.
First cache of the year, and yep that was an adventure getting up there!!! Took World Wide Bolt TB. TFTC
Cool 4wd climb. Reminded us of the Walcott Inlet jump ups. Great view from the top especially at this time of the afternoon. TNLN TFTC
I absolutely love these 'middle of nowhere' caches. It's so peaceful at the top of these mountains. Great workout as I walked from the main road. Took a tb and left a tb. TFTC
Great views, great walk, sorry no picture of the lakes, left camera behind.

Woohoo! FTF!
I haven't been out here for ages and it is amazing how the tracks change. First time I have taken my Land Cruiser up the hill and what a pleasure it was listening to the V8 burble and the tyres scrabble for traction on the loose rocks. There are many options to get up to the cache by 4x4, from mild to wild in difficulty. Mind your undercarriage on the rocks.
Thanks Pollythecolie for the well stocked cache and being an ammo can it will be around for years to come. Left a stubby holder and Geocaching brochure and took the extagz coin.
