Unable to sign log due to water damage. Ants galore too. But I loved the chamo. No spoiler in photo. Just showing proof of find due to inability to sign log.
Exploring locations around the Gold Coast and this is one of the caches we targeted and found. Thanks. The cache needed a new log so we put one in.
A quick nearly park and grab on the way to work this morning. I found the log on the ground and the container open, so added my name and put everything back together before returning to the car to continue on my way. Tftc!
Great clue ... easy find. Looks like someone has set up camp near gz. Log was damp so took it for a drive to the next cache & back to dry out. Not a tight lid seal. Can't believe no one has searched this one since Feburary.
I parked on the other side of the road but the traffic was only light so it was easy to get across to the search area.
A bit of wandering and then I had a brain surge and looked at the area differently and spotted a likely hide and then the cache appeared.

Day 73 Mainland trip
Out and about with Tassie Trekkers hunting down caches after extending our stay here in the area. We had a great day, checking out some lovely local areas and parklands. We found an assortment of hides and hidey holes. TFTC

Caching in the area with whitewebbs and this was one we found.
An easy find at GZ, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Found the high stake and had to navigate a joe blake. But got the cashe! Thanks for the effort behind this stash.
After a long day in the car or was nice to get out for a walk and a few caches. TFTC
A rather large micro?! Anyway, I spent some tym a few months ago looking 4 a cache . . . that wasn't there, but a nyc, qik find this morning & mayb not FTF but at least, 1st 2 sign a nyc, clean log & TFTC
The goal for today was to try and find a few geocaches around the Gold Coast in order to claim my 1000th find! This style has a great camouflage and I loved it all though it's an odd style for the location. TFTC! All was well with this geocache.
Out tonight with a few newbies, we believe that a few stakes are missing as we could only spot 2 stakes. Could be needing some attention
Quick easy find. First place I looked. Greatful because it is starting to rain. Log signed and replaced again. Found at 3pm on 1.10.2017. TFTC.
Container certainly is different from the description. Disguised it ain't! TFTC
We were nearby on a work related matter and figured that we might tackle a few caches in the area to accumulate a few points for this week's Mary Hyde souvenir challenge.
Parking on the side of the road we found the general area and made our way in. Relying on the description we found many items matching the name of the cache, then after reading through a few previous logs realised that we needed to lower our expectations and with a little bit of rocking and rolling found the cache. Hmmn definitely not expected in this environment.
Thanks for the cache.

From the mountains to the sea we seek them all.
Not at all what we expected but a quick find regardless.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Very strange container for the location. It was on the ground, so not sure if that's where it's supposed to be. Tftc
I was on a mission today to get my caches-found in 2016 over 366, so was looking for a few park-n-grabs. Unfortunately, this Hide was not that at all... with trees and stakes everywhere... and a black nano hidden somewhere in the middle of it all
But --- perseverance paid off and after 10 minutes of *gardening*, a rather undersize stake was spotted and a new improved box was found in place of the rumoured black nano in the cache description.
TFTC - only four more to go [^]

Visiting family and friends on a very quick tour with KAT. This is a lovely area and close by to some major shopping centres - It took a bit of finding and a bit tricky. Couldn't dip my TB's in - So tiny - And didn't have a working pen with me at the time and only on a short time limit - TFTC
Up this way for family holidays and decided to grab a few caches with Moosetash and Happy Feet, this one was a nice quick find while we were in the area grabbing a few smilies, TFTC E(: sorry about the very late log!
Up grabbing a few early morning caches before too many muggles. Found after only a short search and SL.
Thanks E(: for placing & maintaining the cache for us to find.

I had been out for a ride at Nerang and I was slowly heading to Varsity Lakes for an event this afternoon finding a few caches (or not) along the way.
Maybe caching after a big ride is not a good idea because I really struggled with them.
I spent a while looking for this one, but got there eventually. Well almost. I found the container which has been replaced, but I could not open it.
I have a photo for evidence.

Found it. Unfortunately couldn't unscrew it to get the log but photo has been sent to the cache owner for proof. Thanks for the cache!!
My GeoUncle and I were a bit worried about finding this one as it was starting to get dark, but we gave it our best shot anyway.
We searched around to find something that matched the hint, but of all the things we found, none was the cache!
We searched and searched, and were just about to give up when we got FINALLY found it as the sun was setting.
Perseverance won in the end. Yay!
Everyone is very correct, there are LOTS of ants here! TFTC!

This took me ages but I was determined to find this one despite this area being a stronghold of the ant kingdom. Twice they swarmed my feet but I persevered and found it in the end!

Because of some challenge caches back home. Today is called a onsie day which needed converting to at least a foursie day, so out into the rain I intrepidly ventured.
I discovered last night that I inadvertently logged a find on this cache instead of another nearby one.
Log, cut, pasted and deleted. Then I thought that I may as well come and find this one too.
A quick find between some very heavy showers.

Getting weary in the heat. Only a dozen finds in over four hours. Sure is slow going.
No niffy air today. It must be a good wind.
The GPS took me past the hide but I soon spotted it on my return.
The log needs turning over.

After checking if the nearby dog park was kitty friendly i pulled in here to have a look see if i could make a cheeky grab with the hazard lights on.
My gps wasnt much chop once i got into the thicket at ground zero so flicked over to the satellite view and had myself sorted pretty quick. I had to stand still while signing the log as i mustve upset an ants nest or ants superhighway because they were all over my feet and i didnt want ro provoke them further till the cache was safely back in place.
Cheers 35 to 1 for the placement and to e:) for keeping it going.
Good fun.
Whoops... better hit the road before i get a ticket

Thought I'll check this one again as the other cache nearby was enabled again. The stake is here but the cache is not, unless of course if the CO changed it?
A few likely spots were searched with no success until something caught our eyes and there it was. Clever hide 35 TO 1.
Ha, ha. Fun cache 35 TO 1. You had us going with this one for a short few minutes. We checked some other likely candidates before hitting the right one. This was one of the very few places where we didn't run into any dogs today. Thanks for adding to our enjoyment today. [^][^]
I was out with the geokiddies this morning searching for a few of the caches in the local area. This was our last find for the day...and it took some time to locate. We searching at the GZ for a good while, before I eventually spied something that looked a little different. Ah ha!...what a great idea for a cache, very clever SL TFTC
Finding some safe parking at the roundabout to the north, just near the dog training area, I set off for a stroll to GZ. Not sure whether being a cloudy day or the tree cover, but I wasn't getting the best reception, and wandered around looking for something to catch my eye. I was pleased when I spotted it! It was a great hide, and everything about the cache fell nicely into place. With the log signed, it was time to head off back to the car.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
I was in the area so I decided to give this one another shot. (Did I log that DNF?)
With a hint from Mr Kruger I was soon in the right spot.
Nice one 35 to 1. Thanks for the cache.

Out caching on a hot day with JawsPaws from UK. Bit of a scrounge around and we soon had clever cache in hand!!!
Visiting from Uk. Have been travelling round Oz for a couple of weeks. Currently staying on Gold Coast with fellow cacher Robgold picking up a few caches. Decided on the wetland today. Took a bit of finding but got there in the end. Crafty hide. TFTC
Out and about on a Saturday afternoon after work looking for caches.
I parked about as close as you can get and headed to GZ.
The phone was not happy and had be going in circles for awhile before I spotted the 'what is wrong with this picture' type thingy.
got you, found and signed.
Thanks for the cache.

I think I will struggle with this app considering how thick I am and my app on my androids GPS is freaking bad
Couldn't find this one ... Gonna try the last one then I'll call it a day

Found it by seeing the odd one out. Couldn't get the log out so couldn't sign the log
Great little hide , we are carrying around a couple of TBs, as we were leaving I said to geograndad do you think Diego would have fitted into that cache? he looked at me and said oh lets go back and try to stuff him in cache we did have a chuckle TFTC
We searched for ages but did not find it. Just as we had given up, we turned around and spotted something black in a little groove of a tree. It turned out just to be a bug. Disappointed, we left. Could we please have a clue??????? TH4
Mr. Herbz eagle eyes spotted something here. Is that it? Hmmm! Yes, nice hide. TFTC.
We were down at Reedy Creek being subjects for a girl doing her hair dressing training at Kings College and she had finished with me so I had up to a few hours while she worked on Geo Wife.
I wasn't going to sit around when there were caches no so far away so I headed off.
We were approaching our next milestone 1700 and I wanted to celebrate it with Blacklegend, who was at 9999 and go for Heart Break Hill.
We had planned it for Saturday so I only had 2 days to get 12 more to get to 1699.
I had parked close by an started to walk in when my GPS literally froze on me and was not going to play at all.
I decided I would take the cache name at its word and search blind so to speak but not really just techno less.
I checked the various possibilities and all proved fruitless then I turned around to check the area again and there it was looking at me!!!
I reckon you could probably lower the stakes on this one maybe even 15 to 1, nice hide.
Thanks 35 to 1 TFTC SL

I drove right by here this afternoon after checking on my nearby Rompin' 'round Robina Flying fox cache and on my way to find your two other new caches. One would think that I would have learnt by now to check my emails whilst out!! As I don't cache after dark, someone else is hopefully nearby. Thanks for keeping on placing new caches 35 To 1.
Well after finally getting around to mowing the lawn this afternoon, I hadn't noticed the publication of this cache till about an hour afterwards. To my surprise it was still unfound. With two small kids ready for food, bathing and bed theres no way on earth my Mrs is going to let me duck out to find a cache. So once the nightly routine was done I checked again and well blow me down, it's still unfound.
So I gave the Mrs a kiss and hit the road. Finally made it to GZ and no one else was in sight. Waited for the gps to wake up then off I went. It took quite a while to locate it but in the end I opened it to find a nice clean sheet.
FTF at 8pm.
The co-ords were a bit out for me but it happens when you're under cover of trees.
TFTNC 35 to 1.
Enjoyed the night time hunt
