Hi there craigv.hotkey.net.au,
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention.
You may recall having received an automated email from Geocaching HQ which explained what you needed to do.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step and temporarily disable the cache - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days so others know exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication kill this cache.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- **Place A Write Note Log:-** Reviewers are not mind readers, so without your note on the cache page telling them what the situation is, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and, when the listing is next checked, all will be fine for a little bit longer. But be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it.
If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date), please ensure you visit this page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks so as to keep everyone up to speed with what is happening.
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another Geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned and processed accordingly.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD)
Thanks for your cooperation,

We found this cache today on our first day in Bairnsdale for our East Gippsland Road Trip. We found this cache and did not realise at the time that it was offline. Thanks from D & HA B-A.
I found the empty container which is clearly visible from the path. I've a photo if the CO needs proof of the find, but this one needs attention.
Found it after three attempts. First one was a few years ago and it was missing!
Tried yesterday with no luck. Read activity log for clues. Can’t believe I didn’t find it. Awesome little hide. Much excitement with Kaz20 keen to help find it!

Clever hide. We probably wouldn't have found it on our own, except some local geokids showed up and helped us out
With the final easing of restrictions we took the opportunity to head to Lakes Entrance for a few days with 2 of our grandchildren and give us all a bit of a chance to get out and about in what proved to be a beautiful few days of sunshine.
We walked, cycled and spent quite a bit of time at the playground near the bridge over the north arm. Quite a favourite.
Of course we took the time to do a few caches as well.
We searched for this one while Mrs SKI was visiting the hospital with our granddaughter who had broken her arm after a fall from the playground at Howitt Park. All good now!
Managed to park in one of the courts nearby and headed off for the search.
We have a cache called "Trip Trap, Trip Trap' in Churchill so smiled at the connection.
A nice quick find.

Cool little cache in an open space. Two pint sized muggles on tricycles nearly spoiled the catch, but we waited them out. Good, fun second find for the day!

Found by Mary and David at 11:30:00. Knew where it would be as soon as we approached. We were prepared to add some log paper, but there was already a sheet in place. Nice real estate. Our thanks to craigv.hotkey.net.au.
After crawling in spider webs we came to realise this wasn't needed after we spotted it. Knees are dirty but smiles are worth it.
I really need to be more methodical with these ones and not rely solely on the hps. Checking out all four corners, I saw it before I started looking in that spot. Tftc.
A cool little container made for a quick find. Good day for a walk. Thanks for placing this cache.

Was where i first thought it was but spent about 10 mins looking where it wasn't before i looked just that little bit harder where i had first looked and there it was. TFTC
*** Att Craig - your log is wet here and needs looking at, but we signed the wet paper.
Gotta love Eastwood, one of my favourite areas in East Gippsland and a stop in here on the way back through Bairnsdale. We've looked for this one once before, but a nice easy find here today, which was good.
Thanks Craig

A very late night decision ended in Brodie, muggle partner and I driving from Shepparton to Bairnsdale Aah the things we do for geocaching!
I'd downloaded pocket queries into GSAK, drawn up my polygon based on Whereis.com's route, refreshed all of the caches within the polygon and then loaded the GPSr [^] We were set! [^]
Leaving at 6am, the Nuvi in Harry suddenly decided that we were NOT going to Bairnsdale via the freeway and Melbourne but that we WERE going to Bairnsdale via the Great Alpine Road [?]
While Nuvi's route may have been the shortest, it was also a 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear trip for Harry for almost all of the journey. That's damned hard work, let me tell you!
Arriving at the first cache for the day (found with the phone as it wasn't in the GPSr!) I grabbed the laptop, reloaded the GPSr with a new polygon and we continued on our slow but steady way [^] Amazingly we saw snow and snow skiers then had 32 degree heat and masses of dusty windy gales all in the one day [?]
Eventually we arrived at the 2 Months to the event in Alexandra - Bairnsdale at 1pm, which was pretty good considering how many caches I'd driven past!
By day's end, as we lay our weary bodies down to sleep [)] in Bairnsdale I had 1 DNF (which with the CO's permission, I remedied later [:X] ), 1 event attendance and 10 smiley cache finds
A quick find in the usual supect place but somehow, this is NOT the Billy Goat Gruff that I wanted to find on this trip
Thanks for the walk in the park

I've finally got around to logging this one, after almost a year having forgotten that I have already been here!
Today I had time to go for a walk around East wood Estate and have a look at the area, picking up some caches as I went. This one took quite a while but finally found it, had a local muggle catch me in the act though so I had to tell him what I was up to. Replaced cache and was on my way! TFTC
It was easy to find took us about 5 minutes to find but still was a bit of a challenge my tip is keep persisting
Thanks to a surprise visit by O319 and Justjessie I was able to get some very overdue caching done.

Sorry for the inconvenience everyone.
Sorry for the inconvenience everyone.
In the drizzle,
I stood on a bridge,
wondering why I couldn't find a cache ?? [:o]
I checked the cache logs,
and found that I was not alone
When a long string of 'smilies' suddenly changes to a long string of 'frowns',
it often means a cache has gone !! [:o]
Who knows ??

Ran into the owner while looking for quite a while. Not there sadly Thanks anyway.
Looked for a while. The CO dropped by and checked but found cache missing. He will organize maintenance. Thanks for bringing us here.
Out and about finding caches in the area and this was one we found. A quick find amongst the houses overlooking Billy Goats Gruff. TFTC

After investigating a shoe box of trinkets and log like notes, which thankfully was not the real cache; we found the actual cache neatly secreted away. The cache and contents were all safe and dry.
This is one of the caches we were able to find while staying in Bairnsdale to celebrate a very special family birthday.
Our thanks to craigv.hotkey.net.au for bringing us to this location.
