A interesting bushland area with plenty of interesting features.
The sums were completed without any problems and a rather large container was found in good condition.
Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for bringing us to this place.
Chiefton!!!

An after work decision to get out and grab a couple of caches saw us in Starlight reserve. Nice easy calculations lead us straight to the cache and once the logbook was signed, we were off to tackle the other multi in this area. A little unloved here too.

We’ve never been to this reserve before and enjoyed discovering the information the council has setup.

Thanks Pinkpiggy7.

Today I am in MLB to deliver Christmas wine to my MLBs customers. I am trying to complete a multi challenge so tried for 3 multis today, alas I only found one of them. Felt like a total amateur!
My first customer was in Rowville so once I had seen her I headed to this park. This was a nice simple multi and the cache was found quickly at GZ.

We are impressed with the park, and liked the council treasure hunt too. Thanks PP7!

Find 2110
Had lunch close by and decided to do a couple of caches. An interesting little Reserve to walk around. Did the calls and it wasn't too far away. Saw a likely target and sure enough it was it. Log signed and all back safe again.
Thanks Pinkpiggy7

02-Feb-19
After an early morning run, I was looking for a few caches that were nearby and saw these two multis. This was my first stop. Didn't take too long to get the information needed though as chance would have it I had already walked past GZ and I had been none the wiser. Took the 'scenic' route when there was a much simpler way in. Nice straightforward find. TFTC

Circle of life???.. not sure what this circle is actually for .. but it came in handy as tradie fence building muggles kept driving by. Never realised it took so many to build a fence .. the information was found quickly and the cache, well hidden. Watch out for bull ants!!! Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for the cache.

Been awhile since I’ve succeeded in getting a multi coordinates right the first time. We left a trackable behind for someone else to grab.

29-Oct-18
MontsII decided he would come caching with me today, so we headed here as I knew he would like the other multi you have in the park. We did this one first, as it was closest to the cars, and had some fun counting and recounting until we reworked our GZ. We set off and managed to find the cache. Phew, our maths must be good! In our circle of life we have celebrated our Granddaughter's third birthday this week.
Tomorrow we celebrate our D-I-L's birthday and on Sunday it is our 29th Anniversary.

Checking out some of the sharkiefan challenges that had been published late last year and there is one that requires 25 X "Campfire Allowed" Attribute. [Parkville Challenge 35 - 25 x Campfire Attribute](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC7FWZW_parkville-challenge-35-25-x-campfire-attribute)
I'm currently on 24.
Imagine my surprise when I discovered that there was no need for me to leave the metropolitan area to get my 25th.
.
What a historic little reserve.
I took a stroll and was following the council inspired treasure hunt when a few new caches were published.
One new multi exactly 3 km away.
I returned to the Geoprado and took off for Lysterfield.
.
On the bright side, I will now need to return to Starlight Reserve to complete the other multi.
'
Thank you for placing this cache and highlighting a wonderful reserve Pinkpiggy7.

Dad is feeling a little maudlin this morning. Normal caching buddies - ie the kids - are growing up and hav e other plans. And so the cache name is particularly relevant to him. Thanks for a fun little multi in a great nook of suburbia. And I’ll go back to my existential questioning. Tftc

*23 Aug 2018, Found @5:44 pm, Find # 1866.*

I started this multi more than a year ago. I’m not sure why I never completed it. Today back in the area I was able to finish the job. Such an interesting place here and a bit of history.

**Thanks to Splad_ for placing this cache.**

Out and about tonight, grabbing some caches in the cool night air! I came to this park to do the nearby multi but that was done quickly and so I had time to do this one as well. It was an eerie feeling being in this circle in the pitch black and sitting down to do the required calculations - I was half expecting some hooded monks to appear or something! Off to GZ and the cache was soon collected. I had a lot of fun here, a favourite from me, TFTC!

We were concerned that some children's cubbies may resulted in the removal of the cache, but by following the clue, we soon found it. Tftc Pinkpiggy7

2nd cache of the day as I head to my girlfriend's 21st party today. After finding the other multi and making it my 100th multi find i soon embarked on to the GZ for this cache. Walking to the complete opposite side of the park I soon I found myself at gz. Not gonna lie this one took a lot longer then what it probably should have, and with many prickly friends trying to mark my nice clean shirt. I soon noticed something suspicious and thabkfully it was the treasure I was looking for today. I loved walking throught the park and cannot wait to find some more today. Anyways thanks for the cache and the little adventure

This a lovely park. Thanks for bringing me here. This was a fun little multi that was lovely to sit in the circle of life and work out the details. The coordinates were bang on

08-Mar-17
Leafotwind struggled with the nearby Rowville POW cache. Whereas I had trouble finding this one! I worked out the coords easily enough but at GZ couldn't work out which one matched the hint, then when I looked much more thoroughly at the first one I found it! Thank you

01-Mar-17
Whoops, I transposed the difficulty of hunting this cache down with the nearby Rowville POW camp multi. Well, I might as well continue the transposition. This was a nice quick find Smile

01-Feb-17
Out with Yorsys today cleaning up some more local caches. A lot of these have been out for 4 years or more and The Swaggies still had not got around to finding them. Whilst Yorsys took a phone call, I went down to the circle to gather the clues and look at the clues. I came up with a reading that looked good and then waited for Yorsys so we could make the find together. Whilst waiting I was sorting out my GPSr when I noticed someone on the roof of a nearby house watching me. So I became the decoy whilst David made the find.
Cache appeared to be OK.

Well I never knew this existed. I've lived in Rowville years ago. And never knew. What interesting history! TFTC. (took the TB)

20-Nov-16
Last cache for me today, the weather was too hot, and I had just purchased some new carnivorous plants (and a triggerplant) for my collection and was keen not to roast them in the car. This multi I also had a crack at solving from home, but as I was passing WP1 I decided to stop and check my work, thinking that I might have got part of the answer wrong. Turns out I hadn't, but it was nice to have a quick break all the same. Continuing on to GZ, I managed to misjudge the best approach and scored a nice long scratch down my arm as a reward... Plenty of Bursaria spinosa around to discourage bush-bashing around here (but it's also a very good bird habitat plant) Finally at GZ itself, it took a little searching to uncover the well-covered cache container - it seemed a safe hide so I dropped off another trackable that I picked up at the Surf Coast (Mega) Event last weekend - TFTC Smile

#258 - 12.25pm
Stopped en route to feeding my Pretzel craving!!
Peaceful place with thoughtful infrastructure for kids that is both educational and fun.
Massive does of cache hair!
Took some fossicking, even though the hide was fairly clear. I got a smiley and a massive dose of 'cache hair' for my efforts, lol.
Found one of Pretzels cousins living here not too far from the cache...
Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for showing me another very interesting park which I knew nothing about despite having lived in Rowville for a number of years.

Find #10 (of 31) for my Multicache Monthly Challenge.

On a cold and dreary afternoon, 88andy88 and I set off to this nice little park. The sun broke through just as we arrived.
Found the required info and headed to gz (after a small dnf in between).
After a bit of scratching around, we soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks for bringing us to this hidden park, Pinkpiggy7. Cheers. Smile

Found @4:47 PM #2051 An afternoon out in the crappy weather and got to this awesome little park and alot of history too it. Wow... Wouldn't of thought there would be so much historic value to a little park in the middle of suburbia. Nice easy little multi and an equally nice little walk.

A nice simple multi and after forgetting the pen had to return to the car to grab the emergency pen. So now having collected the clues I head to GZ where the cache was eventually found, it was well covered. A interesting area one I wasn't aware of until now, fascinating history... Cool [^]

An interesting initiative by the municipal authorities! I think I did inadvertently end up visiting most of the points mentioned in the 'clues' while pursuing the two caches in this pretty nifty park. The data collection and calculations were sorted with ease here and the GPS led me through the rain and right to the nice substantial, and well-sheltered, cache. Thanks Pinkpiggy7!

While in the area we picked this cache up on the way through. An excellent multi and this is why we love geocaching as it brings you to places like this to see the history of the local area, thankyou.

Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

11-Dec-15
Having worked out the co-ordinates for this cache a while back. today was the day to claim the find. With the rain falling I was hopeful this would be a quick find and after parking close by it did not take log to find the well concealed hide. While trying to determine the best approach I stumbled across a pretty impressive pile of cubby house materials very close to GZ I'm surprised the cache hasn't been discovered by the local kids. TFTC

Indeed an interesting park here and a nice simple multi to show it off. No problems with either the workings or the hide, thanks Pinkpiggy7.

My day started around 5:30am as I headed out with the goal of finding at least ten different types of geocache in a single day. As I was already in this park, it would have been silly not to find this cache also so I did. [^]

First decent day we have had from this freezing winter, so miss 7 (geokid #3) and I head out for a day of caching. As usual, she wants to ride her bike and this seemed like a great place. We parked not far from the starting point and rode to the circle of life where miss 7 ditched her bike for log and stone hopping instead. After getting all the information we needed we were back on the bikes heading for the GZ to make the find. We then returned to the Circle of Life to do the 'other' treasure hunt and find Rowville POW Camp. Thank you for bringing us here Pinkpiggy7.

03-Jul-15
Another day caching with the Thommo clan and we came here.
What an amazing spot... A circle of friends.. Inclusion for all..
Friends are not defined by race, gender or similarities..
It would be great to adopt a circle of friends place just like this in all major towns, there are alot of people that suffer in silence from isolation of their peers.. Simply for fear of not fitting in..

It was fantastic to see the fire had been lit not to long ago, suggesting that people do come here to mingle Smile

Well done piggies... This is a great spot for a cache and certainly one that I would NEVER have seen without caching.

We were in the area today to check out the neighbouring multi the name had Geo mum interested. This was as equally good, what a great spot. We are glad your brought us here Smile Chocolate lilys that grow here are native to geo mums 'home' town also, she will have to come back in the spring to see them Smile

Once we’d realised there was one item missing, (apparently stolen? why?) we took that into account and rejigged our figures and we were off. Cache in good order, left a TB. Thanks for bringing us to this reserve Pinkpiggy7, it was interesting reading some of the signs dotted throughout the park.

I was running out of time to do the March multi challenge but thought I would give it a go. This was an nice easy one. At the listed co-ords I got he necessary information, making sure not to miss any. The cache was found in quick time a short distance away. Thanks Pinkpiggy7

Find # 4611

It is multi march and I am trying to find enough multi's this month (31) to qualify for sharkiefan's challenge cache http://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC5M69G_multicache-month-challenge-cache

It was friday night with no work tomorrow so a couple more multi's were in order.I had attempted this a couple of times in the past with no luck. This time with a small hint from the CO, I managed to make the find, around 6m from where my GPSr was telling me.

Thanks to Pinkpiggy7 for the cache. TNLN

Are you coming to the Melbourne MEGA event – 14th and 15th of November, 2015. http://geocaching.melbourne/

Find #1744. Found @ 19:35.

Multi find #11 of my Multi-March adventure. I was in the area visiting the Police Paddocks area, and stopped off here before heading home. This was the tenth of my 11 finds.

I solved this multi location before the other one in the area, but GZ was closer to the car.

Based on my counting skills and figuring that the cache would be in the reserve, I think that there is a log missing from the circle. You can see where it was, but I suppose it could be misleading.

When I collected the container, the cricket chorus cacophony was at an ear-piercing painful proportion.

Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache Pinkpiggy7.

07-Mar-15
After collecting the clues for this cache first, we actually picked up the Rowville POW cache first, then made a figure of 8 walk around the park to this caches final. We both admired the interesting 3D effect information signs in this park. We picked this cache up at 4:36pm and it is my 6th multi for Multi March this year.

Multi March (my self appointed challenge to find more multi caches) has rolled around again. Despite it being the long weekend and my spending most of the time at the MSTEC Steamfest, I was glad to have a bit of time out to find a few caches with sharkiefan. Thanks for the cache and bring us to this tucked away suburban wonder Pinkpiggy7.

Found with LouiseAnn. Steamfest is on today but after popping to admire the machines we took off to find a cache. A nice and interesting park. Thanks for bringing us here. Tftc

This is an usual area for a PinkPiggy cache! I usually see them pop up out in Narre Warren.
The circle of life is amazing! Almost felt like I was on a Survivor set or something. Would be nice to sit around a fire here on a nice night with friends.
Met up with Vanessa&Aodh here. My 4 year old counted all the bits and pieces and we were soon heading for GZ. Vanessa let Mr Four hold the GPS and make the find, much to his delight.
Thanks for bringing us to a really nice park that I would never have found otherwise.

06-Feb-15
What a cool little reserve. Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for bringing us here. I came here today with The Rusty's and thoroughly enjoyed exploring this park and its playground. The Rusty's little fella did all of the counting, and we soon had a GZ worked out. Great cache to do with kids.

21-Jan-15
After work this evening, headed out to this reserve to grab a few multi caches. Having started the Hallam Bypass Trail by Pinkpiggy7, was looking forward to finding a few more by CO.

Parked nearby and enjoyed a pleasant stroll through a very warm evening to GZ. Upon arrival, read the clue posts and information about this fire ring. Very interesting and fascinating to read about some of the history of this area.

Worked out my calculations and headed over to new GZ. After a quick search, had the prize in hand.

TFTC Pinkpiggy7. Now off to find the POW camp multi.

We drove out to this area to tackle a number of nominated caches in the 2014 Victorian cache awards and couldn't resist doing a couple more multis. This is a lovely place, and nothing is nicer than a circle around a fire pit. Would be lovely to sit out here playing guitars and ukuleles by fire light one night. TFTC

03-Jan-15
We loved that this cache brought us to a park we didn't know about with so much history. Only time for one multi today in this heat so we chose this one which is closer to the playground & easier to keep an eye on the kids. Hera successfully collected the info and correctly computed final GZ. A brief hunt & the cache was in hand.

31-Dec-14
We were out and about today with The Drovers picking up a few caches and decided that it was time to tackle a couple of multi's. This was the first and we quickly gathered the information although ii appears that one of the logs may have been used for firewood.
We took the short stroll to gz where the cache was located quickly.
Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for the cache.

31-Dec-14
Headed out with Team Crackers, to pick up a few caches in the area.

We enjoyed this simple little multi, and the short walk around the park.
Cache was located quickly, and in good condition.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Pinkpiggy7, for us and others to find.

25-Dec-14
Collected the clues and solved the puzzle some time ago but on arriving at GZ there no cache to be found. Wandered back to check the info collected was correct. With the right info it could only be the math that was wrong. Sure enough there were numbers that could not be explained. With the new co-ords locked in, I was guided directly to the cache. TNLNSL. TFTC. Kems

16-Dec-14
Having DNF'd this cache some months ago, and noting that the CO has adjusted the final coords, we thought we'd have another go. Quickly worked out the coords of the final, plugged this into our GPSr and followed the arrow back to where we were ended up last time. Judging by the evidence of bushwacking where our GPSr told us to look, we weren't the only ones to look about 10m from where we eventually found the cache after searching every object that matched the clue in an expanding spiral. Nice to see what the council have done. TNLN TFTC.
