10:00 A quick find after dog walkers, joggers, strollers, some residents and rubbish collectors had left the area on a lovely sunny morning. Patience was rewarded and I soon had it cornered. TFTC

Approching gz we certainly felt exposed but thankfully no muggles were around & no one was in view at any of the nearby houses, thankfully we made a quick find, completed caching duties & wandered back to the car. (Hope the co owns the house the cache is hidden near)! Nice park near the canal.

Found at 12:01 PM GAFF? This cache had a short life didn't it! Couldn't let it go so quickly especially in a such a lovely if not very exposed spot. Sent a PM to the CO asking if they were going to check it out considering that there a previous finder couldn't find it again and also offered to replace it, but as is the case with a lot of new cachers - no response Sad
So we took it upon ourselves to replace it as a community service [^]
Cache is now a camouflaged plastic screw top jar covered by some rocks at the co-ordinates provided in this log.

Thanks miriamwoof1 - and us Razz.

Sounds like this cache needs to be checked out if a previous finder cannot find it.

As suspected, this cache is gone. Called in with DiMorgan as they couldn't find it.

This was the 2nd time we have been to this cache. As we couldn't find it on our 1st visit we met we with Browngang who had previously found it, only to confirm that it is not there.
Could the owner please check it out.
Thanks mirianwoof1

Took a bit to find this one and didn't really enjoy the exposure, but a fair hide all the same.
I was thinking it may be gone due to the hedge trimming that looks like it occurred today, so was pleased with turning it into a find.
No TB in there, I'll check with previous finder..

This one proved to be tricky, as Cookie said, plenty of people out walking on weekends. Everytime I tried the 23 steps I ended up in the same place bit with no avail. Spotted the head of a vandalised bollard light though.

Found at 7:50pm (with the torch). Just got back into town and saw this new one pop up so piled the kids into the car and off we headed. Took a while to locate and wasn't near to where the GPS told me it should be but got there in the end. (3rd to find behind 'Browngang' & 'Cookie X2'. TFTC.

With my 'late logging' - 15/5, I see that the coordinates have been changed - NICE.
Thought I had actually logged it, but must have skipped that sheet.
Lots of nice dogs being walked, and great to see so many of the community out exercising, but it does make it very hard to have a good look when you in the middle of an open lot.

Otherwise all good with the cache. Discover Me Tag thru

This one popped up while I was contemplating how I was going to check this date off the calendar. An *FTF* to boot.
It took about half an hour in between muggle dog walkers and fitness fanatics. At first I started counting the 23 steps from down on the concrete path by the waterfront. That seemed the most obvious to me at first, and the top of the steps put me closest to gz. After about 15 minutes I gave up on my phone and entered the coordinates into my gps and still no good.
After many passes on my hands and knees I was about to give up but I started along the hedge on my hands and knees from the road and soon had the CIH some 10m from gz. All I can say is that I hope the CO lives in the orange house or this one will enter the realms of "the cache that got away"(a cache that was archived or muggled before you got a chance to find it). At times, from the spare block of land I was less than a meter from the house wall and feeling very exposed. I was repeating all the excuses to muggles over and over in my head. Probably should have left at first when I didn't find it straight away. I've given some updated coordinates for a quicker find.
Cheers from Browngang

Joint 2nd to Find. Also like Browngang there was a STACK of muggles. At least most you could see from quite a distance as they walked across the ? pier/weir ? from one side to the other, but as we kept on going they started to come from the local streets with their dogs, so we probably looked a bit strange trying to take photos of any and everything!
At on stage I left my camera where the GPSr 'said' GZ was, and went for a bit of a walk, as there was just too many muggles. I would suggest, DON'T try it on weekend! I was going to try and get some better coordinates, but a pair dog walkers came just after we FINALLY found it. Somewhere to the SE of GZ.
I did leave a Correct Site Marker (surgical marking pen) - in the hope the coordinates can be tuned in a bit. Also March Madness 2006 TB, which seemed appropriate.
It was nice to finally have x 8 caches to choose from for the first day of my holidays (within 80 km). Mind you, I was expecting pprass to be back from holidaying and having a go at it.
