As other had found this one easy, we had high hopes that we would pick it up aolong the trail. We searched for quite some time, but no luck. Wondering if this might be missing?

Jure isn't immortal in flood cycles so gone for now. He may be back in a new locale.
Easy find. This side of the river is certainly the poor cousin from the other side. This place must be wombat party time each night with the number of burrows. We spotted a big wombat when we were leaving the reserve. Hope to get a picture up when I download them from our camera. TFTC
Interesting structure on the other side of the fence - sheep dip? Easy find after I noted that Tankengine had left a sticker on a nearby star picket. TFTC
This was a tricky one to find but it still was a quick find. Found with TheStormMan! Tftc
Out for a cache with JohnoMawbs. Thought this would be a convenient and reasonably quick trail to clean up. Found a Tankengine sticker in an odd spot. Bit weird. TFTC
After a warm-enough day, it had turned into a lovely evening. I hope I haven't left my run too late to finish this series! This cache was an easy find, but the was quite wet inside. Log dry enough to sign. I believe the adjacent brick structure is a sheep dip... TFTC, JLT
A bit nervous about grabbing this one. The grass was very high (4-5ft) and I spent a bit of time watching a black snake in the river trying to catch a frog, so I knew they were around. Eventually the grass lowered and I was able to spot the cache at GZ.
Thanks
Thanks
I have had my eye on this series for a long time. Every time I want to do it, I am exhausted as I am returning from mountain caching. Well, no different today. Totally worn out, I decided today was the day.
Found all the caches easily as the coords are spot on. All dry and in good nick. There was a couple floating down the river with tiny floats (people, not caches). They seemed happy enough but not sure where they came from. No car in the park.
I don't know if I would want to do this series at night because of all the wombat holes hidden in the grass. The vampires wouldn't worry me until they bit me.
TFTC series joeylovestreasure.

#1498 15 of 16 today.
I decided to head down to the wilds of Thawa to tackle a few caches around the Vamp Trail series. I have driven past most of these in the past so a visit was long overdue. It was a lovely cool day for this time of year.
Thanks for the cache joeylovestreasure.

We have been meaning to do this trail for some time and today worked out well for us, all the caches were easily located with pleasant scenery along the way. Plenty of bird life, loads of fish spotted in the water and of course the Kangaroos. We enjoyed the series. TFTC
An interesting area along here, with some very impressive wombat holes, a great outlook to Mt Tennent and the interesting brick and concrete structure others have mentioned. I've no idea what that's for.
A quick and easy find and re-covered as much as possible with what was around. TFTC

A Canberra Bushwalking Club amble up the Murrumbidgee and Gudgenby Rivers in the Gigerline Nature Reserve doing the Vamp Trail series. Plenty of water flowing. Trip report at http://www.johnevans.id.au/wp/8-august-2015-gigerline-geocaching/ . Found with ChifleyGrrrl. TFTC.
Today my mum and I tackled the Vamp Trail. After finding the first cache in the series, we parked our car next to a gate. We discovered an old, rusted and broken padlock on the way to this cache. There were already nice country views with rams in the foreground and Mt Tennent in the background. Interesting structure near GZ.
Our thanks to joeylovestreasure!

A few rams in the paddock nearby, eyeing us warily as we explored our way to the cache.
After remembering our fallen heroes on this significant day, I was in the mood to go for a drive and a hike I've been looking at this series ever since it was published so today was the day to tackle it
It was lovely hiking along the flowing river and it is certainly a wombat's paradise as well!
Back to the car I went after making the find on Peter, and I was off for the short drive to the gate near the other section of the river. Off I went for the stroll to GZ, but had to deviate around a soggy section of track. But once at GZ, it was an easy find thanks to Tankengine [:O)]
Thanks for the hide and for the series, JLT!

What a lovely spot by the river. No treasure in the Geocache so I left a toy Car behind.
Didn't look for it. Took one look at the terrain and decided at our age to give it a miss, though we might do it in winter months when wearing jeans
Found 7:20 pm with LuckyL10n. We were out caching and doing the Vamp series was part of the hunt. We found this cache after doing a wade down the river. Signed the log and replaced cache as found. Thanks for the cache.
Justjessie headed out to enjoy the last day of summer, the trail was just long enough to get done before the heat of the day. Cache was an easy find, but with very wet contents. It is placed in a natural water course? Opened it up and left it to dry while I went and found Pam. Have placed it back in a slightly different position (about 40cms difference), but it will still get wet in a big storm.
#3076 - 19:20; When the geohoney decided to go to the Canberra Show, the opportunity for an afternoon caching run came into play for today. I gave MrDamage a call and we were soon underway. We had collected a handful of caches on the way here, including a 5/5 and a 1.5/4, so were hopeful that this trail would be a little less strenuous. Turns out to have been two bob each way in the end! We had returned from a paddle upstream and found that this cache was just up on the bank from where we had abandoned our footwear. Reshod, we made our way back downstream a little further where we could climb easily up the bank and backtrack to make the find on this cache near the old sheepdip. TFTC joeylovestreasure
3894. As I was kind of in the area, I popped over to these ones to finish them off. A nice little stroll to GZ with every weed known exhibited along the way. A nice new bridge here too since I was here last.
The container was a little exposed and I wasn't really sure where or how it should be hidden, so left it as I found it.
Thanks JLT for the cache and the fun.

A nice summers day, not too hot and not raining, so decided find to the Vamp series. TFTCs.
I have been wanting complete this series for a while. Being Australia Day today looked like a good day to go for a walk. The weather was cool and the area is very impressive with the rivers and natural features. The cache was easy to find. The geo-kids did some swaps. Thanks JLT.
Obviously this track does not get used very often as we had to wade through the long bushes, was very interesting. Thank you for the cache.
Walked along the river bed to directly 90 degree to the cache and then had to make the scramble up the embankment.

After the last two, this one was very straight forward. Passed a man with a shovel digging a hole on the way. I can only assume that he was burying a dead body. Last one, thanks for a great series with a good mixture of containers.
Today was a day to get out in the local environment again and this series seemed to have a good variety of targets. A few simple drive bys and two short walks by different rivers. I did have to avoid horses in the river near the last two caches, but otherwise the series went smoothly. Thanks.

The wombat holes on this side of the river were spectacular. We were also curious as to what crop they were growing in the adjacent field. Found the cache no problems.
Thanks joeylovestreasure

Saturday 4 October 2014 - a glorious Spring afternoon with a cloudless sky and warm breeze. Quick and easy find. Couldn't cross the river so had to walk all around. Thx p2p. TFTC
Thought it was a natural feature. Read the postings to learn to spot the 'structure'. Aha easy

Decided to go on a Geomission to pick up this series of Vamp caches.
Had a muggle friend with us and was showing her our addiction, not sure if she will take it up though.
She would prefer to run very long distances instead without picking up plastic things along the way, something they call marathon running I think.
Anyway it was a lovely day for a stroll around this area and some great views along the way too.
Thanks for bringing us here and thank you for the cool little series joeylovestreasure.

8427 + 990 = 9417. Completed this series today.
After running out of time last Wednesday I drove back down here today to finish off the last five. After Angel I was driving back and then I realised that the next two were "over there" ! So back over the bridge I went, parked nearby and hoofed it in. Found this cache in its neat hidey hole. Then noticed the 'sign' !
Thanks again joeylovestreasure ! One to go !
TNLN - TFTC !!

A quick stroll from the main road, Green-martian & I had the cache in hand. Signed log & replaced. Thanks again JLT.
With all the cars in the car park at the construction site, I simply added mine and then took the walk to the gate. Wow, we can actually open this one...ACT Government must slipping. Once through the gate, I headed off to GZ where the cache was found after a short search. Log signed, cache replaced and off for the last one. Thanks JLT.
I was meeting a group of caching friends for a walk up Mt Tennent. I left a bit early to give myself enough time to attempt the last two caches in the Vamp series I hadn't yet found. This was the first I found. SL, replaced cache and moved on down the river. TFTC JLT!
Found on a nice afternoon around Tharwa with a friend. I remember talking to JLT at the Maker Madness event and she said that after the event, she would be heading down this way for something "big". Seeing this now and I am impressed - well done. A lot of effort put into the locations of the caches. Vampires and all that Supernatural stuff never interested me, but it was still very enjoyable to learn a bit more about the genre.
As for Jure - also never heard of this person. I should learn a bit more about them.
A short drive down to the new car parking area for a short walk near the sheep. They were very scared as usual today, as we walked along we found many holes in the fence because they attempted to escape. A quick find at GZ near a very cool structure, with the huge scar in the background. TNLNSL. TFTC JLT!

Found with Mr Roo. Some nice easy finds in this series. We had to do it with our eyes closed - just to make it scarier! haha
A quick find on a cracking morning. Love being this close to Mt Tennent too.

Chooo ooo *FTF* with SuzieQau. Thanks for the cache and the déjà vu! (Mind you - spookier out here at night!).
Yippee *FTF* with Tankengine. The stars out here were wonderful for a while! (Until the cloud cover came over). When we got back to the car, a massive truck with a huge tractor on the back went over the rickity bridge - I am amazed it didn't collapse!
