4.23. Unarchiving a Geocache
The archiving of a geocache is intended to be a permanent status. That is why only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ staff have the capability to unarchive it. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if it meets the current Geocache Listing Guidelines.
If a geocache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance it will not be unarchived.

This is my DNF log also....
Unfortunately I didn't realise the recent history of this one... until I had been searching for a few minutes...
Needs to go. Clearly not going to be maintained like the nearby cache also...

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.
I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

Didn't find it, heaps of tree removal happening so not sure that it is still there
A short detour and a walk in the park brought me to GZ in this somewhat devestated area
Nice to see some regrowth beginning

Very peaceful out here, seen too not far from cache. Thanks for bringing us back out here- found with mrbuzzy
The cache was taken by the recent fires however I have replaced. I left the burnt buttons as a reminder.
This cache has been temporarily disabled due to a recent fire in the area. An extensive area of ForestrySA plantation and native forest was burned, leaving many trees unstable and presenting a potential risk to public safety. For safety reasons, visitors should keep clear of all areas while ForestrySA works to ascertain the exact extent of the damage. Areas will reopen as safety permits. See updates at https://www.forestrysa.com.au/News/Media-Releases.
Before enabling this cache, the cache owner should confirm that the area is open to visitors and that the cache is still in place and in good condition.

I had a good look around for this one but I think the recent fires may have got to it.
I was nearby in search of caches and took the opportunity to walk down this great little
path and find this one too. I had a hunch what I may have been looking for at GZ and was
glad when it paid off. Sneaky hide. Two little lizards were guarding the cache and quickly
scurried away as I picked it up. Had to empty a little water but the log book was still
dry enough to sign. TFTC

Sneeky hide. Bizaare hint which was no help. Read logs for better guidance. All good fun and great spot.
Ta for the cache, Cooinda.

A nice hide. Nice walk. The container was half full of water but the log wasn't too damp. Thanks Cooinda.
Didn't get the hint, but found it eventually that had nothing to do with rocks. TFTC Cooinda
Well played Sir, well played! This had us stumped for quite a while before we finally stumbled on the answer! Good hint. Bad satlock wasn't helping the situation either - had the cache moving around in what must have been a 30m radius. After a little while a better satellite constellation must have showed up putting us more consistently closer to the cache and we were all happy in the end! TNLNSL TFTC Cooinda Fave awarded
Found as part of my 'Misty Mountain Hop' adventure.
This was cache 4 of 6 in the Mt Crawford Forest.
Thanks Cooinda. Find #708

Having a special geotool enabled us to make this an almost drive-by. After parking the car, we walked in to GZ. Lesson number one - trust the GPSr. We bush-bashed our way into this area and, following lesson number one, made a quick find and sign. Contents were quite dry even though there's been a bit of rain around in the past couple weeks. We found a far less prickly way back to where the car was parked so that was a bonus. TFTC.
We were up in the mist this afternoon. A quick find at GZ. Nice cache.

Love these hides in the hills but one down full u remember how unfit you are. Tftc
Stopped about a 100m short of the intersection on Mt Gawler Road, parking in the cleared area near the gate and followed the trail downhill to the cache [8].
The whole area had a surreal feel to it this morning, the low fog and still air fighting with the sun to create a dim twilight effect .
Took awhile to find and were surprised to find the container dry, obviously not being waterproof . TNLNSL.
Thanks Cooinda.

Heading out today to place a few more caches and decided to grab this one on the way through, nice little walk to GZ and there are red mushrooms everywhere here today, bad choice on cache container and when the rains come the log book is going to get very wet especially where it has been placed. TFTC
Out cachi8ng with 3LG today so ventured out to hopefully get on the podium with this cache.
Was hoping maybe for a silver but Locus cache beat us to it so happy to take the Bronze.
A lovely place for a walk although the cache container may not be entirely waterproof for when the rains come.
Thanks for the cache and great walk.
Took trackables to visit.

After a late night at work, I arrived home hungry and ready to cook tea!
However I realised that a new cache had been published, not too far from home but about 2 hours prior
As there was no logs on the cache page, muggle partner suggested we go for a walk Well, I suggested and he agreed
Took Brodie dog and had a lovely walk in the forest on a clear, crisp night while the GPSr started to almost go in circles and had us trying this way or that way!
Finally found our way to GZ and found a cache.
I do agree with ttrog....that container is not ideal. Still, a lovely spot even at night....well, maybe apart from the gunshots which continued while we walked out.

Was rushing home from work to meet a much needed plumber when what's this, new caches, woe is me .
DPA arrived, followed soon by the plumber finishing. Still not too late maybe, still daylight, take torches just in case. Almost surprised not to find a car parked near GZ. And no-one at GZ
Spent far too long putting my hands where I probably shouldn't before cache was found only 2 metres from my GZ. Am a bit worried container is not up to the job and wont be long before log is swimming
Thanks for the cache Cooinda (grew up on a farm called Cooinda)

Thought the plumber would never finish but he finally did. A quick drive into the hills and a short walk through a nice forest. Tricky hide was finally found.
