Having driven past this one soo many times heading to Bothwell for work i finally stopped in to look for this one, when approaching i had a fair idea what i was looking for and bingo the caching senses were right. Signed the log and replaced, then continued on my way home. TFTC
Found this one on my way home via the lakes instead of travelling the highway. a quick find at GZ. TFTC
This morning was a wet dull day so we decided to head back to Waddamana and watch some of the videos, unfortunately none of the 3 we watched were as good as the one we watched yesterday. Never mind.We had our picnic lunch at the Museum and the day cheered up into a lovely blue sky/white clouds afternoon. We did some more of the Hydro Power Trail series and then into Bothwell for a short wander and to get some fuel and milk to tide us over for the next week. Then on the A5 back to Penstock via Steppes.Great loop drive and no dnf - yay! What a great spot for a cache, we wouldnt have seen those tigers otherwise. Quick find and sign TFTC
Thanks biggles58 for hiding this cache and giving us some fun chasing it down This was find number 1,090 for us We are traveling Australia full time in a Coaster Bus and of course grabbing some caches along the way. [Feel free to follow our journey HERE...](https://linktr.ee/SalandAnth)

On my way home after a couple of family business days in Launceston. Decided to detour via Poatina and Bothwell, so as to avoid the Midland Highway roadworks debacle.
If course that meant I could grab a few caches, but I was also slowed up top by poor visibility due to fog, cloud, and dwizzle!
It's cleared up down here though, so I stopped here, carefully crossed the road and found the cache!
Thanks biggles58, for this caching experience.
Cheers, EPs.

A great day to be out caching with barely a cloud to be seen and zero wind.
Travelled down through the Lake Hwy to Bothwell then Kempton and over onto Colebrook before heading back home again via the Rhyndaston Rd then Stonor Rd back onto the Midlands Hwy.
This cache was soon found with all in top condition. Nice cammo.
Many thanks for the cache biggles58.......thoroughly enjoyed...cheers ST.

Found this cache today while on holidays traveling around Tasmania.
This morning we're exploring around the Steppes area on our way south.
There's some amazing views along the way and we didn't expect them to take in a couple of Thylacines, cool.
At GZ we found the cache after a short search.

I have grouped this traditional cache generic log pertaining to each CO. I shall only deviate from the generic if there was an issue with the cache .
I would like to thank all of you for your time and effort in placing and maintaining your caches, and this generic log has nothing to do with disrespecting your time in placing them out there, as it has to do with time restraints due to the great number of caches my partner dalerious and I signed here.
EACH and every cache we visited was special, and we thank you so much. Most were chosen to qualify for Challenge caches both here and on the mainland .
There are too many of you to name individually so please accept that I acknowledge you all and I am truly grateful for your contribution and understanding .
We had this trip to Tasmania on our wish list very soon after we met. The meticulous planning began a few months ago when we finally set a date to sail to a place that I had been before, but never cached, and for dalerious, a place he cached, but never really got to see the real beauty of this place, and all it's glory. God's country about sums it up.
We started our adventure in the North West and traversed the entire Island in 10 days. We thought the weather was going to thwart our plans, but all it did was change the itinerary a tad.
Where back home was flooding, we had mostly sunshine here; apart from the North of your lovely state, and our thoughts were with those who were affected both here and at home.
Caches here took us to extraordinary places; one's we will never forget.
We also got to meet some cachers; we can't wait to meet the rest .

On the run from the flooding rain, here was one quick parkngrab that catnap777 and I didnt even know about till we were cruising past. [8)]
We saw the mural and thought surely there would be a cache nearby and sure enough...
Log signed and returned in good condition
Day three on the Apple Isle, and our wishlist for this day was to find as many caches placed at over 1000m ASL as we could possibly get our greedy mits on.
Catnap and I arrived at The Great Lakes in light rain just the night before and by morning the weather was already turning worse, so a mad dash was made for any cache we could find before the worst of it hit us but that didn't take long. [B)]
The North end of the state was flooding and we to get out of the hills while we still could.
South was a great idea.
TFTC biggles58.
Letting Geocaching be our tour guide, every cache we visited showed us something amazing and added to the joys of our holiday adventure including finding caches in every county of Tasmania (except Flinders and King Islands) during our 10 day visit. [^]

TFTC. Cache and contents in good condition. Need the hint on this one then knew what to look for.
Found it!! What a beautiful location and a great little painting in the middle of nowhere, TFTC
Would never have known the two tigers were here thanks for the cache placement so one has to stop and look TFTC
No reception but found this one anyway! Nice camo. Cute spot for a stop to enjoy the view and the painting. TFTC
We were wondering what it had to do with Tassie Tigers and now we know! TFTC biggles58
Down in Tassie for a break before Christmas and continuing our travels around the country, wow the countryside is absolutely glorious. Happy to say we came up trumps here and walked away with a smiley TFTC
We love how the natural rocks are formed, they look like they have been professionally cut and placed. Good hide well cammoed. Give a FAV from us TFTC
Well, we now have this one conquered. We have to admit to looking for this one on another occasion to no avail. Can't believe how we missed it before ! While I followed the GPS to GZ, Mrs rhubarbroad spotted a familiar but suspicious object ....... from the vehicle ........ on the opposite side of the road ! Damn !
So in the end today this was a quick find for a sneaky hide in plain sight ........ if your geo-eyes are doing their job. Thanks for Two Tassie Tigers and keeping this one up to the mark. favourite from us today.

Heading from north to south and with semi clear but cold weather we headed across the central plateau. The name of this sounded interesting and interesting painting near GZ. The hide took a bit to locate but we got there in the end. We completed the signing duties and continued on to Hobart. TFTC
Final cache of the day at this unexpected spot. Now I can say where the Tassie Tigers live!

Accurate co-ordinates led to a quick find. Thank you Biggles88 for the cache which enabled me to appreciate the tassie tigers mural.
On a road trip getaway with friends, who enjoy helping us with a spot of caching.
A very interesting mural here.
RoadieR had his hands on the cache in no time.
Thanks for bringing us here for the interesting view of the thylacines biggles58.

Stopped here once before and searched for quite awhile without finding it. Today I pulled up and there was. Great at work. And a cool little hard. TFT see
Today we headed off to Launceston for our first post-COVID-lockdown getaway. Having now found most of the caches along the Midland Highway, we elected to take a slightly circuitous route via the Highland Lakes, picking up a few caches along the way.
We have a bit of a bad habit, we've found, of not really properly reading the cache description before setting our for a cache. To our detriment, that was the case with this one. Keeping an eye on the GPSr as we were driving along, we soon spotted the parking area on the eastern side of the road, and pulled the car over. It wasn't until we piled out of the car that we discovered the reason for the cache, and we had a bit of an "oh, duh" moment!
A quick examination of the area ensued (punctuated with a couple of pauses due to passing traffic), but no cache was found. We tried a scramble up the bank to check at the top, but soon came up empty handed there as well. Certain we'd missed something, we made our way gingerly back down to road level, and a minute or so later had the cache in hand. Much to our embarrassment, we really should have noticed it straight away - we'd placed one just like it ourlseves, only a month or so earlier!
Thanks for showing us this interesting spot! Given that we missed the star attraction even when looking for it, we're sure we'd have missed out if not for the cache, so many thanks for signposting it for us.

We stopped here on the way home from a weekend in the highlands. We had looked at the mural before, but for some reason hadn’t noticed there was a cache in the area! Looked around and soon spotted something out of place. TFTC

T-Tech and I are down from Brisbane for a meandering holiday around Tasmania. We flew to Melbourne where we picked up the campervan and spent a day caching there, then took Spirit of Tasmania I to Devonport. Tick that one off the bucket list!
Today we are travelling from Bracknell to Mount Field National Park. I was expecting a much bigger work for some reason... We took a minute or two to see what was not quite the same. Nicely done. TFTC, biggles58.

Couldn’t find this one today. Might have to try another day when I’m down this way again
Gotta wonder why someone would stop just here to paint a mural. Easily missed if you're not looking though. Thanks for the cache biggles58
Found on the way from Mt. Field NP to Pioneer during my motorcycle holiday on this marvelous island.
It is 'Believed' Tassie Tigers still exist in the far SW parts of Tasmania people never go to or can actually get to. Those whom have seen them don't bother to tell anyone otherwise they WILL become extinct through curiosity and science [:o] [they just want them left alone, who knows {if they exist} in time they might make a comeback... that would be nice ]
Ok, onto my 5th find for the day ....
I found a convenient parking bay and walked over to GZ. I just HAD to take a pic
A bit of a search with objecting small gold coloured spiders in their webs.

We had a one-month period discovering a small part of this wonderful country, coming as a family from France, with my wife CaroLiiiine and our 14-month baby, PirateNoé.
Very often, Geocaching is also a good way to discover hidden places, or to give an extra interest in visiting some other more famous.
Thanks to all geocachers who hid those boxes, we had a lot of fun to find them.

Out and about with the Rafas caching, A day that had it all Rain Hail Snow and Shine all four seasons in one day. It was cold enough to lower the temp. of the motor while going up to Bothwell and warm enough driving from Perth to home to put us all to sleep. a great day caching on an old road thats worth traveling on. lots of GC caches to find, TFTC TNLN log dry.
Thanks for the cache biggles58.
I don't travel along this road very often, but two weeks ago RLD4963 and I were returning from Burnie along this road and I mentioned there were a number of caches. We didn't have time to stop at that time, however, today we set aside a day to return and find some smilies. We had the GeoGSP with us today and he also enjoyed the views, and we even found a dog park for him to play in Deloraine at the end of the day.
This is a great spot for a cache, I have to admit that I didn't notice these tigers when we drove past two weeks ago, so I'm glad this time we had a reason to stop here. Cache was quickly found.

Day 11 of my trip from Adelaide and after a pleasant night under the stars at Bronte Lagoon, I headed back up to the lakes to visit some old haunts and grab a few caches. Then it was down to Hobart via Bothwell and New Norfolk. And I was blessed with some great weather!
Made me laugh when I saw the painting!

A quick find on a beautiful spring day. Taking the opportunity to grab a few caches while heading back home to the north west coast after a weekend in Hobart. Saw the tigers as we approach the parking area and was surprised again at the things you miss when you are just driving thru. We had no trouble finding what we stopped for and all was in good order. Thanks for highlighting another feature we have blindly driven past numerous times in the past.
