Solved many months ago with ZL2SGA. It was a hard puzzle to see your way to the end. Got it sorted in the end, probably took me a number of hours to solve. Finding was easy with Cacheclaws and minecraftlad. Minecraft lad got a stick in his eye with hurt for a bit. All good on site.
Found today while passing.Trying to mop up some of these older solved puzzles.Quick find hereSigned log tm/ww NZ
This type of puzzle really is beyond my capabilities... there really was nothing to see for me! But I persevered and have tried a few techniques over the years hoping for a technological breakthrough! Today at the Anzac geoevent I realised the puzzle had been shelved for a while and decided to ask for help... Nice quick find once at GZ Thanks AtomsNZ for the brain-tormentor! TNLNSL- all nice and dry and ready for the next finder.
After working on this with a friend, i was able to find it. very interesting way.TFTC AtomsNZ

I was aiming to find as many caches on the day as possible and managed 62 plus some ALs. I really enjoyed every single one, and apologies for the generic log. TFTC!!

I knew what the puzzle was about really quickly. It took a little bit to extract the coordinates from there but soon had something that looked great. Quick find here and signed log. TFTC
#12,827. I had not attempted this puzzle before todays trip. So when our Wellington caching team said there was a hidden cache here I was looking at my GPS map and wondering what it was. The container was soon located and signed with todays team name of "Broken Biscuits" as it was an Anzac Day trip and we were travelling in two cars. Back home I checked out the only nearby puzzle I had not solved to see if it was this one. There was not much given away on the page (well nothing really). But have done a few of these blank page caches now so searched in the various spots and found something useful. Needed a bit of support from another programme to see where the CO had hidden the useful information. Having solved the puzzle at home I felt justified in claiming the find. Thanks AtomsNZ for this cleverly constructed cache.
25 April 2023 13:49 Number 12575 for me. TFTC AtomsNZ for placing this cache for us to find.
My contribution to team broken biscuits here was remembering that this cache was here! Others did the finding, for which I was grateful.

Nothing to see here, (sign) and move along… move along… Quick find as the train muggled past. Team sign as Broken Biscuits (because ANZAC Day). Cheers AtomsNZ
Took about an 40 min-hour to solve. cache was easily spotted, even at 10PM. Train passed as I was signing the log! I wrote in the log and placed the cache back as found, TFTCSL. Thanks AtomsNZ for this Mystery cache. Thanks for helping us get one step closer to our next milestone of 600 finds.

Dunno why I didn't find this one last time - it was nice and easy. I guess I just wasn't feeling it?
I'm in Palmy over this weekend to help celebrate a joint birthday party / house warming for friends of mine, but naturally there's always time for a little caching. Actually I'm not entirely sure that was true for one of our party today but that's another story
I don't often get up to Bunnythorpe but I have wanted too for a while to try to find a couple of solved puzzles including this one. So this afternoon TECATS (TwigNZ, Etherlord Clan and the Seagnoid) plus LL113 and Stardust718 piled into a couple of cars and headed this way. Several of our party had found this cache many years ago, but I had only solved it in the last few months so was keen to now look for it.
Mart0r made the find here today, and the log soon had a few extra names on it before being put back as found. Thanks for setting this puzzle cache up.

Having driven up this morning from the Hutt Valley to Palmerston North to attend Etherlords birthday celebrations, joint with the Clans housewarming, a few of us (Myself, Etherlord, TwigNZ, the Seagnoid, Mart0r & Stardust718) decided to pop out for a bit of caching late afternoon. Bunnythorpe was the target, as the Seagnoid needed to attend to some cache maintenance out that way.
Made the find with the group today but am yet to solve the puzzle. Will hopefully be turning this into a smiley as soon as possible.

Puzzle was solved some time ago without too much trouble. Visiting the area today and made my way here. Took a fair bit of searching to track this one down, I was starting to worry but then it came to hand. TFTC
Solved prior to our roadtrip and didn’t have any real issues with the puzzle. The cache took a wee bit to locate as it wasn’t quite where I thought it would be but it was very close by.
Malinkaly and I planned a road trip to go to the MEGA but Covid has postponed the event again. We decided to continue on with our planned journey making adjustments as we go with the ever-changing travel restrictions.
Greetings from Dunedin!
Thanks for the cache, AtomsNZ

A nice quick find thanks. The puzzle took a little longer though.
Ms_KR and I are on our annual pilgrimage to Auckland for our family Christmas. Today we cruised to Napier. Please excuse the generic logs, there have been a few finds and they get muddled up sometimes.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

With KR. Another train going past as we got this. Frans at Thyme Out B and B said that there's there's so much milk being produced in the Hawke's Bay in September that they send it by rail from there to Patea. Good job the tracks in the Manawatū gorge are ok. Have they lasted because it was pickaxed but the road was blasted? Tftc
CrystalFairy had solved this one, but we were both looking for it at the GZ Got it eventually. TFTP
Out on a weekend caching trip with Buttels with the aim of picking up the SHIELD and 20/20 series and mostly solved puzzles along the way. Took a while to solve the puzzle, but got there in the end. Got to GZ and followed the instructions and nearly gave up. Luckily I tried looking behind a clump of growth and bingo had the cache in hand. T4TC
Travelling to Whanganui and had time to stop for some caches. Mrs Rubbishparty was very happy when she solved this as it involved some techniques she hadn’t used before. She’s the brains and I’m the hunger and gatherer. Quick find at GZ. Thanks
A flying trip and so pleased I could make a few puzzle finds while heading back north. Puzzle solved awhile back and well hidden at GZ. Replaced just as I found it. Thx
Solving this I wondered who came up with this type of puzzle first? The Seagnoid or AtomsNZ? No matter - the solve technique was similar. That done, I grabbed this one today on the way home from work at my NZ Post RD run. Cache is well hidden under leaf litter, and all good here. Interesting to note my Taranaki geocaching mates were the last to find this cache based on the actual log. I didn't know they had it in them, lol They kept that secret from me!
A big mission to the Manawatu day today, picking up a variety of cache types for an internet-based challenge.
I had to remind myself just now on how I solved this one and it's a technique I've integrated on a couple of my puzzles. After navigating the strange roading system around Bunnythorpe I found myself at GZ where the cache was a quick find. All good here. TFTC

Nothing to see here but there was finally in the area to sign this one off on the way to the GIFF with Tara ted made for a slow grab thanks Atomsnz TFTC
Took a round-a-bout route to get here to find some trimming near GZ had taken place. After a bit of searching eventually pushed further in to reach the hidden cache . Thank you AtomsNZ
Slight detour to make this grab. Another off that solved pile. Thanks for the cache.
This was another puzzle that was solved quite some time ago so very happy to come and complete the formalities this morning. Once we made our way to GZ Ryan made a super quick find to try and avoid as much of the rain as possible. TFTC
Day #2 of our four day caching trip to Palmerston North. With the weather forecast for thunderstorms and wind, we decided to leave the Stickman trail for another day and today head north to Feilding and beyond.
Found ourselves close but not close enough, so had to back track a little. Waited out a man walking a dog, then made a quick find. TFTC.

#16382. If I'd been a bit more on the ball we could have avoided a backtrack by crossing the railway line on foot, but I was too slow, and we ended up driving to GZ. After waiting for a muggle to pass on foot. Troodles, got stuck in and found the cache. TFTC.

Team BOP on tour in the Manawatu-Whanganui Region... With Gap (of Fap and Gap), (Mr) Davidson clan, McJandals, NZFlossy, Philip.Perry, and TNXPro.
This weekend had been in the pipeline for ages. It was always going to be a mission for various team members to get coordinated leave passes... We secured accommodation in the rural heart of the Manawatu. This placed us well within reach of a massive trail of caches... We travelled in one vehicle, so our journey was filled with lots of laughs, and good times... Fortunately, the majority of caches were in place and were fairly quick to locate - thanks to straightforward hints and great coordinates. Many of the caches had not been found in a while, so containers were waterlogged, and logbooks were wet... Thank goodness for waterproof paper. A huge thank you also, to the various COs who made our weekend worthwhile...
This was an interesting solve, and we learnt a thing or two in the process... The roading in the vicinity is quite interesting. TFTP and TFTC.

Team BOP decided that with the MEGA rapidly approaching, we need to boost our numbers so we could try for a milestone number at the Mega. I am approaching my 3000th cache but was still about 325 caches away from that. Reaching the milestone may or may not happen, but this weekend certainly was about the numbers. I had an initial target I was trying to beat and that was my highest number of caches found in one day and we comfortably beat that, achieving 158 caches (subject to confirmation, once I log them all).
The best way to do the high numbers is with power trails and out here, there is a smorgasborg of powertrails.
We loaded up the van, gathered up all seven of us and headed to our accomodation somewhere in the middle of nowhere, getting there well after dark. The location was convenient, as it was right in the thick of a power trail territory.
There was no splitting us up, as we only had one vehicle, so we all experienced the cache locations, some beautiful and some not so.
As with powertails we have done in the past, there was a high proportion of waterlogged caches, but unlike powertails we have done previously, we managed to find every cache and were glad to be able to clear out an area. Also, with powertails, comes cut and paste logs, to which I apologise for.
Thanks to all those CO's who have placed the caches out there. Without you, our fun road trips wouldnt exist. We all had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend and got home completely shattered. It was so worth it.

Road trip time again! This weekend Team BOP consists of Davidson Clan, TNXPro, Squirrelnutcase, FapAndGap, McJandals, NZFlossy & myself. We had a very narrow list of ‘must gets’ so this trip was essentially a numbers mission. As with these trips, most of the caches were found quickly and in good condition thanks to accurate coords and straight forward placements. We replaced some logs and containers but most had water proof paper and were all good. A huge thank you to the co’s as this was a beautiful area to visit and there was certainly an abundance of geocaches!!
Everything was fine here, TFTC.

Together with arbor95 I am on a holiday tour in New Zealand.
We are two Germans, old friends since a long time. Together we visited a lot of other countries in the past, even before we started geocaching. [^]
For our trip we usually looking for some extraordinary caches.
Therefore we had mostly a lot of fun.
Thank You very much for this geocache, for the challenge and for the maintaining.
Greetings from tripleclaus to AtomsNZ.

We are not usually quick to solve these 'Nothing to see here' caches, but managed a nice quick solve on this one this morning. And a nice quick find this afternoon once the weather cleared. Thanks.
#824 Found this one with DangerSAM in tow. Has been on my solved puzzle list for a long time and finally got around to finding it. I remember when I first looked at it I didnt have the foggiest about how to solve it, but slowly but surely, by doing a lot of puzzle caches, you build up a good toolbox of experience and turns out i had to solve another one similar and so I was able to go back to this one and use the same skills. Gets a fav from me, thanks AtomsNZ.
#23 Just happened to be in the car with mum. She solved this one before i was born, or probably before I was even thought about
After many attempts at this cache and still came up with nothing finally got the solution with a little nudge in the right direction from a previous finder. Thanks heaps! Was over this way so decided to have a crack and bingo came up trumps. Tftp cache an of course smiley
I have been accumulating a list of solved Manawatu puzzle caches for some time, this was quite a tricky one. A quick find today during a caching visit to the area.
well I am so happy to finally get this one over to a smile instead of a ?
second visit here as the first time walking muggles were lurking around and with us lurking around they won the lurking, thanks for the placement cache all in good order.
TOP DEFINITION
nothing to see here
Short for "nothing to see here, move along folks". A ironic or sarcastic phrase uttered by a person who feels that he/she has detected a hidden, usually unpleasant or sinister, deeper meaning of a story or event that the reporter or authority on that event wishes to conceal possibly to avoid upsetting the general public.
From the police phrase, "nothing to see here move along". which is often said to a crowd of people that have collected at the scene of an accident or crime and who the officer wishes to disperse without communicating the cause of the crime or accident.
The phrase is found in political commentary often on weblogs on hot button events like terrorism and political corruption.
Susan: "I read in the paper that the FBI has determined that the man who shot up the Israeli airline ticket counter at LAX had no connection to terrorism."
Fred: "Yeah sure, nothing to see here."

Well here we are at long last to log this one and they say 3rd time lucky ,I worked this one out awhile ago with a couple of answers taking me too places that were bang on with the hint description but no cache, so is with pleasure that we sign the right one which is this one at lonnnng last TVVVVVMFTP.
Solved this last week after applying a method I was using to solve another puzzle. The necessary information revealed itself slowly and I'm not ashamed to admit there was a small happy dance involved. I've been staring at this puzzle since February so am stoked that I've finally worked it out.
Did a slight detour from my normal daily commute to collect the cache which was an easy find. Ground a bit damp under foot.

Looking, looking and more looking. What a mean puzzle! Discussion with anyone who will talk caching took place. Theories thrown around. Hints gave little away. Solving another puzzle with Marisa&Kaleb gave Push'n East and myself a technique to discuss and follow up on. Soon saw something. But not the co-ordinates. One more step required. Excitement reigned. Soon had co-ordinates in hand. A quick find on my way home. Many thanks for turning my brain into spaghetti - every cacher's dream? I will award it a favourite point.
Found it with Team FIN [janahola, kapeka, laalaa & temyllyl]
We had fun with caching few weeks here in New Zealand. Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was pretty good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and really scenary country!

Solved a few months ago with Ningerguts while in Rotorua, finally in Palmy to log it. Great puzzle, even visited given coords in effort to solve this one. good hiding spot. Tftc.
Out and about. With PopMac. And AMD this was a slight detour on our way. After having no success at V Manawatu it was great to locate this cache and get it signed and replaced. Picked up the Mining spade Travel bug at this cache and will move on- maybe to the gold mining area of central Otago in a couple of weeks as this would be agitating place for a mining shovel!. Thank you for the cache and another smiley face.
Solved & TB placed with the help of Ningerguts after a visit to Rotorua. We hope to come down and log this one later in the year.
Bing only my second mystery cache, I have sweated blood, terrified a man at a local cemetery, and gone completely off on a wrong tangent with this one. Until now, that is. Thanks to a suggestion and some hard work from Fluffybeard and the commitment of my husband who is now rewriting our marriage vows to read "in sickness, in health and geocaching obsessiveness," all is well.

#6216. Nice day to find the solved puzzles in Palmerston North. Enjoyed solving this one with nothing to see. GZ was all quiet on the Waitangi Day afternoon. Quick find after feeling around. The cache was in excellent condition, although we refrained from smelling or tasting it. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log. Thanks for the puzzle and cache.
I had had this cache in my sights for some time. I knew what was required to locate the information but just couldn't find it. I needed a little help from a friend to point me in the right direction. Once I had located the required information, I was surpised to find that I had found it before without knowing what I had stumbled upon. It still took me a while to work out the code and was relieved when I finally got the final coords. An easy find on my way to a friends house. Thanks for the cache and the smiley.
Met something a little similar before but needed some guidance to refresh and extend our approach to solve this. Thanks capperz. Nothing to see on the cache page, but soon found something to see at the cache site. Good parking here too - appreciated that. TFTC

This one was totally beyond me & I needed a lot of help to get across the finish line. In hind sight I realised I had the right idea in trying where/what it could be, but wasn't 'clued up' enough to work through it on my own.

Well, this cache caused me much consternation as there truly was nothing to see here. I looked and looked, and looked some more and still nothing, nada, zilch. I found nowt, in fact less than nowt which is truly a small amount. So I had to enlist some help from a previous finder who is now overseas. No mean feat as each time I asked I got some key information but not enough to get me across the line (the numbers, not the line) Eventually I was given a step by step guide on how to elicit the information and voile, still nothing I recognized. One last request and then I understood. Nightowl19 was left to get the numbers once I'd done a bit of research as to chances of success. lots
And so today being off work and heading this way for a game of mini putt a good chance to make the find. No troubles at G Z, all O K and signed and replaced as found

Had solved the puzzle shortly after it came out but hadn't had a chance to head this way to sign the logbook. Today presented an opportunity and Jr. Cacher #1 quickly located the cache at the final location. Thanks for the puzzle AtomsNZ.
[green] The puzzle was straight forward, I even have one similar. Solved many months ago, before I left for Blenheim. I am back for a week and need a puzzle cache for the August challenge so this seemed a good time to get the bike out of storage and go for a ride.
Man, I miss cycling. Zero chance as a new Air force recruit in Blenheim. While I was sitting down at the cache writing up the log book two sets of cyclists went by. "Are you okay?" from both of them. I reassured both was all well and then cycled back to Palmy North to attend the two events. Hope to get in some more cycling before I head back to Blenheim for the next phase of my training.

Found in the company of Boxhill, -gonefishing- and Yeetress on a day of caching in the Manawatu. Have to admit I wasn't a contributor to solving the puzzle but did find the cache for the others to sign. TFTC

Found today with gonefishing yeetrees and SAROC. I noticed this puzzle while planning todays trip and asked a couple of the others if they could look into it. They presented me with two thirds of the solution and I finished it off (the easy third). Cheers and TFTC
Out and about on a quick loop around the Manawatu with boxhill, SAROC and Yeetrees. When boxhill suggested adding this puzzle to the day's itinerary we swung into action to solve it. We've come across some similar puzzles before, so it wasn't long before the solution emerged.

I had this one solved shortly after it was published. Certainly not easy for us to work out but didn't take to long either to figure out how to solve it once I recruited the families help. A very nicely themed puzzle. The cache was quickly located at GZ and still in great condition - clean and dry. Thanks for an interesting puzzle AtomsNZ.
[green] Etherlord challenged me to find the answer to this cache, given that I have a number that are similar. Had it within a minute. Well, had how to solve it in a minute . Yeah, neither of us thought it would take long...
Nicely done, Atoms!
Nicely done, Atoms!
very quick find while out on a pre-dinner drive with the whole EtherLord Clan.
Thanks for the most enjoyable puzzle. +FP for the puzzle!

The puzzle was quite beyond us, but markhnz made short work of it, and we headed out for a quick easy joint FTF at 7.15 p.m. TFTC
Nicely done AtomsNZ!
This is the first time I have ever given a favourite point *before* finding the cache!
[edit: and apparently you can't give FPs until you've found it...
Looks like I need to find it ASAP so that I can award a FP!]
