My 3rd cache, so still getting the feel for it. Eventually found, with help from the hint. Thanks!
In town for work and I had some time to find some caches and maintain a few of my own. Fresh log in place.
Out on an afternoon's cyclocache ride. Of course I had to search the wrong side first before finding the cache. Sadly, it could do with attention. The log is papermachie!
On a Week road trip to Nelson,Buller and Greymouth. lots of driving and walking, plus biking, lots of great caches many thank to all the CO"s - Bitsprayer
Took me quite a while to find this one. The hint was very clear and the object not to be missed. After checking all locations I would expect the cache to be, I expanded my search a bit in less obvious places and soon spotted the cache. Not too hard after all, if you know where to look. Hmm, isn't that true for about every other cache? Anyway, tftc from me!
Had a look but couldn't see anything. Crawling with smuggles so couldn't do a full search but not promising
I’d thought I’d have another go at finding this following the CO’s recent maintenance check. Similar to PF’s comments, I’ve visited this place several times without success. I tried a different approach this time & made a relatively quick find. I’m thinking that where I went wrong last time(s) has something to do with angles v distance & also my phones GPS seemed to be jumping all over the place +/- 3m. Cache & log in good order. Satisfying to see this green dot change to a yellow smiley. Thanks BigglesNZ for maintaining your caches. Great job!
found with kjj162. this was another one we have made a few visits to with no cache found. after reading back through some old logs we widened our search and stumbled across it. great hide tftc
Finally! My nemesis cache defeated!
I first DNF’d this cache around Christmas 2019. My family lives close by and I visit them regularly so, every time I visited since then, I had another crack at this cache. It’s by no means the hardest cache I’ve tried to find but sometimes the straightforward urban ones are the one that conquer you time and time again. To say I was kicking myself when I did finally find it would be an understatement. When I tell you I clambered all over this structure looking for it, including having looked all around where it was….
2.5 years on after that first DNF, I finally have the smiley! Favourite point for having a cache that did me in for that long! TFTC!

Found it,. So why did I miss it last time?
Because I was not searching at the right place. There is no way I could have spotted from afar .

I missed this one on a previous attempt, but with the recent find, I renewed my hope and returned to make the find. TFTC.
All good here although I suspect the cache has 'migrated' due to it not being ankle height anymore. Other than that, follow the hint and you'll be good as gold.
TFTC.

Gave this a good checkover with no success. Managed to kneel in some shit so kused wet grass to wash it off.
Zara and I are in Nelson for a few days. Toby stays behind this trip as hes back at the Motor Drs. Zaras booked for a heater - which was a 'no go' in the end. Some caching and and event at Tahuna. And check out some Op shops. So lets go see what we can find.

Nice quick find in the morning after a drop off at Stoke. Was prepared for a longer search but I was lucky to spot it from the right side and angle and from a bit further away. The closer you are the less you will see it. But you could just feel along until you get it.
I've never seen a crazy setup like this and if it wasn't for this cache I still wouldn't have known about it. Sneaky hide too which will last a long time. Well done BigglesNZ.
Second time here for me. It was a DNF first time, but today tS was with me so that made it super easy. Not sure why I could not find it the first time. TFTC Biggles.
No plans for geocaching today for me as it doesn’t really fill any of my goals, but the Seagnoid has some work to do in Nelson on his railway series extension.
So with regular partner TBD in the North Island, he kindly asked me along to help hide some, fix some, and generally just act as a sounding board for placement ideas and anything else.
Ok, I’m in.
A lovely day but not without some minor dramas, most notably a stuttering geomobile that just about resulted in an AA call out (and did result in a failed push start attempt) before we coaxed it back into action.
We ventured as far as Belgrove and worked our way back. A few caches today - 15 or so, as we shared our knowledge on some and checked in on those about to be archived.
In the afternoon we popped in for a chat/water/coffee etc with the SoBads who had invited us round and were great hosts.
Thanks all COs, we had a good day.

We parked the car a short distance from the GZ and searched and searched and searched. We actually gave up and returned to our car. Hmmm, let’s read the hint again. Mrs Wazza had an epiphany and went back to soon have the little container in hand. TFTC
On the way home from Blenheim and doing a couple of jobs in Nelson and we decided to grab this as we passed. Took longer than it should have but it looks like a little cache creep had taken place but we still managed the find, Took note of the hint and made the slight adjustment after clearing the paper wasp nest!! TFTC
After a short hunt and a wee bit of where has the cache moved to Stretch0 came up with the cache - signed log - then returned cache neare to where the hint suggested and GZ that was on our devices - Stretch0 cleared the wasp nest first before replacing - thanks for the cache
We are traveling through New Zeeland and we stay in the motel nearby. Before leaving with the bus we went for a walk and found this little thing. Thanks!
Greetings from Belgium.
Greetings from Belgium.
Only time for a quick one today. Got a closeby park and wandered along to the walkover. A short hunt and something stood out. Upon checking it out found the cache. Log signed and we were off to continue our errands. tftc
Beaut afternoon & even better to finish work early. I had looked for thus cache in the past to no avail. But today I'm smiling. TFTC
A quick and easy find. A neat overpass too. Cheers
We are on our way back south now, with a wee detour to Nelson.
Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers

After a couple of recent DNFs, I thought I'd better check this out. Popped out to GZ this morning and found the cache in place safe and sound. I've upped the D rating and updated the hint as well.
A quick find with TregearP whilst on our way to get the info for the nearby multi.
All in good condition. Signed log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache BigglesNZ.

I've been here before and was completely on the wrong track this time I found it first go
No luck, not sure what we were doing wrong. Goid fun looking tho, especially when muggles walk over the bridge and you are under it with legs sticking out!! Not the best of success for us today
In the area tonight so grabbed a few caches. Nice quick find in the dark. Thanks for the cache.
A few minutes into my search I had to play troll as someone stomped over the bridge, not too much groping around after the coast was clear. Magnificent tree nearby and and interesting walkway. TFTC!
Of the 100s or 1000s of times we have driven down the road and have never noticed this feature - and didn't know about the wee park on the other side either, once I read the hint it was an easy find. Thanks for the cache BigglesNZ
Went for a quick walk and grab but only got the walk part. Hint seemed pretty obvious but only managed to find a wasp nest which was soon despatched. Will keep an eye out for any future finds and then return.
Found it during holiday in Nelson. The sunny day just didn't let me rest and I had to go for cycle around Nelson. This cache was just on the way. Tank you for the cache
Construction / repair work seems to be all done and walkway is open again. Checked on cache this morning and it is still in place.
Looks like GZ is blocked for some construction work. I'll have to check out whether the cache has survived.
This day I approached it from the correct side of the closed bridge, naturally no other muggles around!
great cache placement. I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to find it while the bridge was closed but it is still there & able to be retrieved from the main road stoke side. due to the bridge being closed, there's certaintly no muggles around the area. find #148
Went on a big adventure with Wafflekitties and geo pups, had a blast thanks for the memories! TFTC.
Found while on a winter holiday with LCBuilder and our two geodogs. We spent 3 weeks travelling down the east coast and then up the west coast, setting our tent up at a different campsite each night. We didn't have any real plan, just went where the caches took us we saw a lot of awesome sights and will definitely have to come back one day as 3 weeks isn't really that long!
Finally made it to Sunny Nelson, definitely one of my favourite places.

Over here in Nelson for the night while daughter is coaching gym at the local Top of the south champs.
Losing daylight fast - so a couple of QEF is all I have time for.
Parked across the road - and had a lot of trouble crossing thru the busy traffic.
Once I found GZ - cache was a QEF - grabbed TB to bring back to Blenheim

Found it. Bridge is out of service due to damage but the Geocache is still there.
was really pleased approached this from the right side. Initially couldnt find but a closer look revealed. TFTC
#10407. This ws my last unfound cache in Stoke. No walking over at present (I had walked over a few months ago while street walking in the area). TFTC.
Another park & grab on my way home. I almost skipped it on arriving and seeing the barriers warning that the walkway was closed. I decided to have a quick search and soon had the log in my hands. TFTC
Gotya! Again no trackables. Taken without logging. Sigh. Who is doing this all over nelson.
Found it! Took a bit, but fun!!! But where is the dog tag which was placed in here???
I'm not sure pensioners with a pinched sciatic nerve should be doing this cache, but became obsessed with the "seek the cache at all costs" bug. I recall a cache in this park 3 years ago, must be archived now. Your replacement is more of a challenge, thanks.
Stopped by on my way to work to do the paperwork. Didn't take long to track down, but only because I'd found the cache last month in advance for another streak day. Took a wee while to find then, and had to do a lot of crawling around before I spotted it, not helped by starting on the wrong side initially. Luckily I was dressed for caching then unlike today.
An interesting feature indeed so had a wee walk over it to check it out further. Thanks for day #370 of my streak.

Dropped off a small TB which fitted into the container nicely. Will do the paperwork another streak day as have already found my cache of the day.
I have upped the T and D as I have probably made this just a bit harder than it originally was when I put the replacement cache in.
No problems here today , after a short search had cache in hand signed and returned... Thanx4tc
Checked up on this cache today after recent DNF. Unfortunately I couldn't find it either so replaced it.
When out for a mid days cache session, found five this being one
thanks for the cache
thanks for the cache
With a caching catch up event on in Nelson this afternoon I was invited along to join Capperz and The Seagnoid on a day's caching in the Nelson area. For once my other weekend plans didn't clash and I was able to tag along and get a few caches on the books. It's always nice to try out a new area and see the variety of different hides along the way.
Another search takes us along a walk way, Cool bridge which was looked at from many angles in the finding of this cache. Tracked it down and signed up the log.

Today is a caching event in Nelson day. So today must also be a caching mission to Nelson day too!
Setting off early from our current homes at Woodbourne the Seagnoid and G H 6 7 1 0 were met at the breakfast hall for a quick feed prior to setting off 'over the hill'.
Meeting at 0630 and returning around 8 in the evening it was a big day all round for all concerned (is there any other way to have a Geocaching day, than big?)
This was one of the caches we did whilst carrying out a nice big loop walk in the beautiful hot sunshine on the Summers day. It was a quick and easy find and the well hidden cache was appreciated.
Took a while before Seagnoid got down and dirty and made the find
AS new container type I've not seen (tasted) before

[green] Capperz, GH6710 and I left Blenheim at 6:30, in order to be in time for an event in Nelson at 3:30. Turned up a little late, not surprising, as we were busy trying to make a dent in Nelson's caches. I've done loads of caching here now, but my GPS, with the finds removed, looks as busy as ever. Wonderful day for it, although I was wondering about getting sunburnt! Event is over, so no longer any rush to get through the cache load before the event. Now a rush to get through the cache load before going home!
We had parked the car and walked around a bunch of nearby caches. Noone here to spy on us, which is lucky, because although it is fairly obvious where it must be, it took the three of us four looks before we found it. And only because i decided to get enthusiastic...
