PD was a previous finder on this one which made it a little easier, although on a previous visit here Id taken photos and had an idea what had to be done and came equipped this time. The lock is a little stiff and could do with a drop of oil however the bigger problem is the lid is rotting where it connects to the box. It can probably be opened without solving the puzzle at this stage.
The Day
Today was a joint run up North with Pointerdogg. The forecast was so so but despite setting off at 06:45 in the dark and rain the day steadily improved and all our walking caches were done in the dry.
Overall it was a successful day, a single DNF amongst 36 finds. Not all drive bys either 4 multis, 3 Unknown broke up the traditionals. There were a couple of BBTCs (although I have nowhere near as many as PD).
McDondalds for Breakfast and a healtier Subway for lunch kept us fueled until we arrived at PDs house 12 hours after we left.

Finally on the fourth attempt we got it To be fair we should have had it on the second go but sheer stupidity with regard to how padlocks work got in the way, easy this time. Favourite point in and Geocoin out. TFTC
I'd previously read the log in detail and was right about the type of cache this was. Indeed I have a similar one at home waiting for a suitable location. I had the cache signed in @ 2 minutes as a man can by on a small quad but didn't stop. Dropped one of my own Geocoins for someone to place in another nice cache. Have another favo
