This one has finally gone missing. It had a good innings! We will arrange a replacement as soon as possible.
I can't believe it's taken me so long to get around to trying to find this one, especially considering how often I have traveled up to Palmy over the last few months. But as I knew I was coming up again for another event tomorrow then it was about time I dealt to it.
Having tried this one a couple of months ago, I had failed to find it at the time but put that down to being in a rush and trying to cache in the dark. This time I parked hoping to have better luck as I had more time and it was light. Sadly in spite of the better circumstances, I still lucked out. I honestly couldn't see anything that fitted the hint or even looked like it could be a hide.
As always with my DNF's, I will keep an eye on this one to monitor the situation.

Stopped by while on a walk tonight. I don't know if the hide type (or location?) has changed since I found it 3.5years ago, but I couldn't find it tonight...
A quick find while taking the long way between Wanganui and Palmerston North. TFTC
I have set myself a goal to get the requirements for the mystery cache The well-rounded cacher challenge (Manawatu) So each time I go out caching weather it is by myself or with fellow cacher I will try to get a least one cache that will get me closer to my goal
This is my third cache for the day I decided to come back to the one and give it another go as last time I was here I was with Scoria we both posted a Did not Find back in 14-5-16 this time I found it I can see why we might have miss it last time I was here as this is only the second time I have seen a cache like this.
Thanks for the Cache

Out with Popmac to make a few finds in the area. Cache was quickly found today. Thanks for the cache

A very cool very little cache. I wasn't sure I wanted to touch it to begin with!
Possum said I think this would be a good place and immediately put his hand on the cache. Yahoo!!! TFTC.
Had looked for this once before some years ago when in the area with no luck and lack of time. Had an idea of what we might be looking for and it proved right. Found with angelic kiwi. tftc
Searched for 20mins but to no avail. Lots of obvious cache spots but couldn't find it.
Thanks Buttafly Wouldn't surprise me if it is missing - we have had a bad run. Will check this today.
Stopped in here on my way home and cache is still at GZ, just in a slightly different position.
Quick find with miss 9 who was very grossed out when I handed it to her. Thanks for the laugh!
Quick find early this evening with eltee291! Awesome container, very cool! Lots of muggles out and about here tonight but no problems! Signed the log and replaced as found. Visiting from Victoria, BC, Canada! Thanks for the cache!
Quickly found today with hingis20. We are on vacation from Victoria, BC, Canada and today we are traveling to Wellington with an overnight stay in Palmerston North. Geocaching and beautiful scenery - can't get any better. TFTC
2nd time looking but thanks to hubby found it. Forgot pen for log book. Awesome hide!!! Tricky but fun favorite so far
This cache was attempted as part of the Palmerston North leg of our "Road to 6,000" Extravaganza for 2016.
A quick find and loving the hides.

#850 Love these 'hiding in plain sight' kinda caches. Havent seen this particular type before but gets a fav for its uniqueness. JimmyNZ made the find, i was too busy looking for sticks! Thanks Zimbos!
Out for some caching this afternoon with Gr33nslme and DangerSAM. This one was on the way home. Was thinking about Family Feud for this one, dam you Dai Henwood for putting useless ideas in my head. Anyway, spotted it in the end. Very unique and glad we popped though for a visit.
#42 I think mum and dad were driven out of the house to go caching today because i was being whingy. Hahah, plan succeeded, i love going for car trip. Mum and dad picked up a couple today while i snoozed in the back. This one was particularly cunning i heard!
This one took longer to suss out than the others we had found by this CO but there was no mistaking it when Sidewaze produced the goods. TFTC #9569
Took a while but then spotted something that looked a little suspicious - - - sure enough it contained a log to sign. TFTC .
A sticky little situation we got ourselves in finding this one. We always laugh when finding these caches. TFTC
Another quick find on our geocaching adventure. A clever hide and cool camo. TFTC.
Doing a few caches with the boys during school holidays - starting to run out in our area so visiting other districts no more room on log
Log sheet replaced today. Tweezers definitely required for extraction! Happy Hunting.
Logged a DNF 8 mths ago so today was a mission. Thought it would be another fruitless find but my Muggle partner had the cache in hand within minutes of telling him the clue. Very cool hide. Pleased to finally turn this into a smiley. TFTC
I traveled down to Palmerston North for a 3 day geocaching weekend to give my numbers a bit of a boost, as I head towards my next caching milestone. I decided to fly there and back and pick up a cheap rental car for the weekend. The weather was perfect and I had a great weekend down there.
Today I joined forces with yorkshirekiwi83 for a full day of caching before an event in the city tonight. We picked up a few caches around the city first, then drove down towards Opiki collecting caches down some of the side roads as we went, then headed across to do the KAS Power Trail, before going up to do the caches around Ohakea then headed back to Palmerston North. This was a quick find on our travels, TFTC!

Vistra and I headed down to Manawatu as the KAS trail has been bugging me in its incomplete form, as we both needed numbers for personal goals it seemed like a good opportunity. Thanks to the cache owners for all the caches and the variety, over 2 days I found over 200 caches, so thank you for placing and maintaining them.
Most were quick easy finds, although there were some very clever ones and some well thought out. TFTC

Heading home from PN but wanted to grab a few handy caches as I did and this was to be the last one for the day. Spent more time than I should have finding this cache, maybe it was the rain on my geocaching goggles? Once found, back to the car to sign then left as I found it. A simple but clever cache Z1mbos. I have one of these caches also so should have had an inkling having looked at the hint! Thanks for the placement.
This back road was quite busy ....took me a tad longer to locate the sticky bit another great cache thanks

Definitely need a tool to remove!! Ended up taking a rusty old staple out of a nearby pole in order to remove! Cool cache!!
A quick find with Firewoof as we make our way to the GIFF event.

Based on previous logs I had an idea of what I should be looking for but after spending 20 mins at GZ I decided it was game over for me. But I'll be back.
Stopped here with Dad (Danny Dangerously) so he could help me find it… mum didn't want to touch the cache, she thought it was real… so Dad chased her with it! TFTC.
Not exactly what I thought I'd be looking for... But it was where I thought it'd be. Gets a fave point. TFTC.
Found this with Etherlord during our lunch break - although as he had "found" this previously he stood back and let me do all the hard work
Very cool hide although there is only 5 spaces left on the log.

Found with StephW81 during my lunch break.
Truth be told, I had already 'found' this while doing some maintenance on the Seagnoid's "Mangaone Stream 1" a little further up the track, but had saved signing the log for a dot-day.
Today was that day!
With the previous two DNF logs at the front of my mind, we approached GZ and I was relieved to see it waiting for us.
I don't know if StephW81 was as relieved because I stood back and let her find it.
I'm starting to think she has a dislike for Nanos. Either that or just this one's host?
Thanks for helping me tick off another dot day

It started to get dark sowe couldn't look for the cache, unfortunately. We'll come back another time once we have found the whole series, then we will probably be able to find it.
Had a look for this, but could not find it. Too much traffic and it was getting dark, so we didn't look for very long. Will come back another time and try again.
Very quick find late in the day. Thank you for all the effort you have gone through for your caches.
Easy find. Jr C found this one. Another cool hide. TFTC Z1mbos yet another top quality cache
after a while searching the general area, caught sight of something which didn't quite fit. tftc.
