Logs
Quick stop in Moe before heading home. Got this one eventually. Lidless wet and with just a scrap of paper for a log it really needs some attention.
Just finished playing golf at Moe course over the road, so thought I’d drop in & get this one. The container was full of golf balls & a party popper but no log. I grabbed a bit of scrap paper & wrote my log on that tftc
After leaving the caravan park at Lake Narracan, i headed for this section of the rail trail for a morning walk. My phone had the wanders here and led me on a merry dance in amongst the blackberries. Eventually i used some geosense and found it 18 m from where mu phone thought i should be TFTC Poiter.h
Found!
Unfortunately cache was filled with water and log is soaked.
So awesome though.

Great hide.
Why did the golfer wear two pairs of pants?
…. In case he got a hole in one!

Second attempt at this one but no luck. GPS was all over the place which doesn’t help. I’ll be back!
GPS was a bit off and we were about to leave for lunch and come back later but Finding Sarah spotted a likely spot and sure enough there it was. A few log fails and managed to find some space to write our names.
This cache led us to an area of Moe I didn’t even realise existed. It was a relatively bushy along the sides of the rail trail and birds were heard all over the place. I’ve done a few of this type of cache and am starting to dread them. Why is it always the last, or almost two the last, that the log is hidden in? The log is very full and needs to be replaced. I signed my name down the side. Despite this I am giving it a favourite point.
Again the coordinates are a little off but found it after some searching and had a good laugh about it. The log probably needs a new one though. Tftc
Came back and tried again after doing others on the trail, the note that was in there was full
Congratulations, Poiter.h on a delightful cache. It's obvious you took a long time to create it, and your work was well worth it. Thank you. The log was signed but I think it's full. N.B. 'FOLLOW YOUR HEART' TB was not in the cache. TB DuckTales - Huey from my inventory visited. LN TN
Such a cool idea.
Love this one, so tricky with what was done here.
My baby girl mango mermaid found the real log book.

With a phone that gets me no closer than 10m this took considerable looking and in the end the log was in the very last item within the cache. Needs a new log book to. Tftc
Stumbled across this GC as the GPS had us all over the place, we did find a nice decoy. TFTC
Found after searching around for a while. Found some golf balls near where coords were but then found the cache, which had more golf balls inside. Lots of rubbish and bad smells.
I had to be in Moe today to drop something off and so Ilukaperi and I decided to make a geocaching trip of it.
I have no idea what was happening here.
I went to the co ords and found two weird items under a stick, but no cache.
Then I kept hunting around
Finally I came up with a container full of the same items.
One of which had a log book in it.
We signed that.

Out for a bit of walk with Trodectus, #2 of 4 for today. Arrived GZ and started searching, after reading some previous logs, expanded search area and soon had CIH. After selecting appropriate log, signed and returned, log almost full and damaged. TFTC
Found with Coybear2000. We were out having a walk and headed to this one for our second find. We arrived at GZ and started searching. After some time we checked the hint, which didn't really help. C read a few previous logs and we expanded our search area and soon after C spotted the hide. Thankfully we had the right tool with us and we were able to extract the log, which is almost full and is tearing. TFTC.
It had to be a fore-gone conclusion that the GPS would be waaay off on this one - it seems my figures were off a slice. But I found the stash, and opened it up... to find it was full of loose logs!!! I managed to solve the puzzle (I hope). Many thanks to the geo-pal who gave me advance help on this one, and TFTC!
Great idea for a cache. Loved it. Bit of a gross area. Not very pretty. But great cache. Even for a drive by on a gross day. Plan to do the rail trail some other day tftc
Out with the family today and grabbing the odd cache on the way. Approached from the road and looked at the mess and thought Great! This looks like it might be a challenge. But the geo-senses were working well even if the GPS wasn't. Walked straight up to the cache and spotted it in the first place I looked. A fun cache! TFTC
Found on the way home after a frustrating day of chasing ghosts. Thanks for the cache
Out for a stroll while the geokids ride their bikes.
Geokids really liked the theme. Good hide and cache. Fav point.

A regular sized cache seemed like a welcome break from the string of bush micros.. little did I know. Again GPS not much help but a logical hide. TFTC.
Tftc for this devilish hide. It was the last choice but delightfully acceptable as the sun set for today.
Prefect weather for ride the bike.
two muggles with small motor bikes which too fast. because the sign "No allow"
Found it
Thanks Poiter.h

Kids loved, this one thought was a pretty cool hide.. Off to find one more starting to get dark
Found by Geo kids and muggle Nanna, they were walking Nanna's dog Missy and our Geo kids suggested they do some of the trail. Its taken awhile to work out exactly which caches they found as they didn't log found strait away and it was unclear. All sorted now. TFTC Poiter.h its always nice to find one of your caches
Found with debbatron. Picked up the container and had to know what was inside..the container was so heavy!! After about 20 mins a lot of muscle that neither of us had, a small amount of frustration and having to bash the tin on the side just to get into it......wow. Just wow. We have left 2 very small swaps that will hopefully make it to some future cachers! Suggest that future cachers bring a tool to get into this one as it's incredibly rusty and we struggled with keys, barbed wire and a star picket!
Certainly PLENTY of logs, but the one to sign is full on the front side now!
Found @ 1405, GAFF1 Took a bit of 'Elbow Grease' to get into the cache, but was at least dry.
Not quite enough room to leave a CSM, even tho the coordinates were good.

Nice creative cache, good hide. Retrieved the log first attempt. All in good condition although the container is difficult to open and looks like people have had a fun time trying to pry it open. TFTC!
Wow, not a fun cache to search for, definitely one of the most unpleasant GZs I've seen (presuming my phone sent me to the right spot)... Littered bottles and cans, ankle-ripping raspberries, paper with a suspiciously brown stain on it. Didn't linger for long so no cache for me
Finally....been here before but gps never taken me to that spot. My daughters (Kaddy124) phone today hit the nail on the head. Tftc.
After several attempts I finally found it! My GPS was way off. Thanks for the cache
100th cache logged thanks poiter.h this was such a perfect one to find as a milestone in my caching journey very unique hide tftc with grannygeo64

Out caching with D@geo & SQAU on Sunday.
This took a while to remove the lid of the cache.
It didn't want to come off.
Then to find the log book, easy!
This is the 5th cache of the day.
This is my 1305th cache all up.
Thank you for the hide Poiter.h

squa went straight to this one. Hardest thing about this cache was getting the lid off.

Brilliant. A lot of work has definitely gone into this one. Earned a favourite for the creativity. TFTC
Cache needs repair has a temporary log it in. Before leaving home I decided that I would throw my bike in the van so I could tackle the MTY Trail after finishing the 2 jobs I had in Moe toady. Sl thanks Poiter.h for the cache.
It was interesting to see the old structure that existed here, otherwise now lost in the bush.
While looking for the cache, the tree cover was interfering a little with the satellites, but when everything settled it was all good.
It was pleasing that I didn't have to exhaust all the options that existed.
Thanks to Poiter.h.

Nice one, even though we found it quickly. Mrs SKI is suffering a bit after the longer stretch without the customary searching interlude but is pushing on bravely.
Less muggles in this section.
The cache has lost its lid but all is still well.

I came across what seems to be a common issue. Found something but not quite what I was looking for. Keen to get out there and have another look.
