Logs
With good GPS reception geocaching is not very hard. Found and logged at 16:15. Thank for this cache!
After another big day in the snow, I decided to pick off the two hides in this area. After completely misinterpreting their location on the map, I backtracked and parked in a more suitable location. Just a short walk to the only pine I can see and a short time later, log was signed and replaced.
Its a very exciting day today, first snow of the season. We were having coffee in Jindabyne when everyone starting taking videos, rain and white rain! Thredbo had good covering of snow.Given it was still raining we went for a schnapp tasting at Wildbrumbies before caching. Not my favourite micro type after failing Library Lookout in Canberra! Fortunately austpark found this one. Thanks wing6rider for creating and placing this cache.
14:57on this day we wanted to visit mt kosciuszko, but the weather voted against this plan - heavy rain/snow during the night and in the morning and -10 degrees. we are not equipped for such conditions, so we made replacement plan and found some caches around jindabyne.thanks for the cache.
Was looking on the wrong side for a hot minute. But decided to get amongst it all and there she was. I forgot my pen so I've snapped a photo of log. It is almost full, but still a little space to sign. TFTC
Day 5 - Adelaide to GC9PNFB - Capital GeoBash Mega - Canberra ACTAfter staying in the nearby caravan park for the night we packed up and left the house on wheels in the carpark and headed off in the LB mobile to make a quick find before hitting the road for our final destination, CANBERRA!After our big day yesterday on top of Australia, our legs were not keen on any walking activities today ?? ??TFTC wing6riderKeep smiling ??
On a road trip to attend Capital Geobash Mega and see many different sights along the way. Today we are looking around Jindabyne and caching with 2beez.A lovely day looking over the lake. Quick find. Cache in good condition. Visited it during 28-days geotrip to Australia, N.Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Am.Samoa, Fr.Polynesia with Marci, Ch. Sometimes we logged as "MT" or "Jonea" or "MTCh". Thanks for showing nice caches and places. MT-Jonea from Brno city in Czechia EU. Gb
As I was getting closer to GZ, a branch poked the back of my head so I stopped. I then turned and spotted the cache straight away. Lucky for me TFTC
A quick and easy find on a very pleasant evening jaunt around town. Thanks for the cache wing6rider & Crystal Warrior
Wir sind heute, bei nicht ganz so schnen Wetter, eine kleine Runde am Jindabyne Lakes entlang gelaufen. Dabei haben wir den Cache gesucht und gefunden. Danke frs verstecken! <3
I refused to be stumbled so i had another go and found the small hidden gem. Great hide. And a beautiful place
Yew!! Another state conquered on out family trip and another geocache located. TFTC and even though it's still full, the hide is tricky enough not to be disturbed by muggles.
Failing light for something small and most likely camoflaged. Correct. Then log found full. Pic log instead.
One more cache before I'm back into town. A deserted car park greeted me - always a good start for quick caches like this.
Given the name it was pretty obvious where to look for the cache and a find was quickly made. The log is full, but I managed to squeeze my name in between two previous finders who wrote a bit small.
Must be a few cockatoos around here - there are some very shredded pine cones on the ground. I was amused as I walked back to the car to see a sign reading "Low lake levels have exposed relics around Lake Jindabyne.". Not recently they haven't!

Day 3 of the Jindy Jaunt. On the way from morning caching at Thredbo back to Jindy, we stopped near this cache. A short walk and the cache was located.
The logsheet is very full and I ended up with a lot of sticky tree saps on my fingers. It took me ages to get if off.
TFTC.

PA and I are down in Jindabyne for the NSW event weekend. We arrived with plenty of time to spare, so we decided to grab a couple of caches before we met up with Albida33. This was one of the caches we found and Pa has added our name to the log.
Thanks for the cache, wing6rider and Crystal Warrior.

Found while staying in Jindabyne for a couple of nights with our motorbike group. Some of the group were interested in seeing what caching was about, so I was under pressure to find one to show them.
We soon spotted the nicely hidden container and log signed and passed around for all to look at.

The kids and geowife wanted to watch some tennis in the apartment we had for the night just out of Jindabyne, so I dropped them back there after some lunch, then went back into the town to complete the adlab and, in turn, see the sights. Before returning home on what was an overcast and rainy afternoon, I thought one or two trads would be in order and this was the first. I had to remove a spider in the pathway to the container but got there without any other trouble. tftc
Ocw the Bebes. After aborting a find just up the road due to seeing a bitey stick this one was quickly found without any slithering friends hanging about. Tftc

Surprised how high the lake is at the moment. Thankfully not a problem for the cache location.
After waiting for some muggles to load their boat and leave, the husband and 7 year old ventured up to the tree and was a relatively quick find. TFTC
Just visiting the town to catch up geocaching just a quick found and placed back where it belong TFTC wing6rider & Crystal Warrior

We had a nice walk along the lake from the previous geocache. Good hint, easy find.
Out for a morning walk. Nice easy find once the perspective was right. Got sprung by a muggle so I tried for a convert
Hardest thing about this cache was finding a parking spot for the geobeast. Cache was easily found and I did the legals and replaced as found. TFTCM
