The gardeners have been busy and removed GZ. Time to archive , thanks everybody for taking the time to find this cache.
This was a simlle hide that I made difficult as I over thought it and didn't open my eyes. With lots of help from the owner i finally found it
We haven’t cached much this year, but with a weekend free of kids parties, play dates or commitments and some good weather it was time to get out and do some caching.
Despite me, Mr Plow, having a nasty cold, there was no way I was going to spend another weekend close to home.
Yesterday we ventured down to Western Port for some caching and today we decided to head Geelong way.
The kids packed their bathers, so only a few caches were going to be on the agenda today after a big caching day yesterday.
In all we managed four quality caches today.
This was our second for the day.
Well we recognised the COs of this one - so yep better stop and do it. Mr teenager decided he would sit this one out in the car with his electronic device , so there were only 4 sets of plow eyes for this one.
Luckily we had middle child in tow - nickname - "Cash for Cache!" We always offer him a reward of a dollar or two if he can find it.. (might have to drop it down to 50cents soon!) and well what do you know .. 1min later he had it located! I think i would have been going one hour later..
Thanks for the cache The_Tritonz (this was first of two of yours today).
Cash for Cache is also known as the Crab Catcher...he just loves crabs. See the photo of one of his finds later in the day whilst swimming.

First time picking up a quick cache after being out for several months with a knee injury, finally found this one on the second (or was it third?) attempt.
It is indeed very well camoflaged, but once you approach the problem from the correct direction the solution becomes clear.

My geohubby and geokids found this recently. I got them to come along with me and assist if needed, my 9yo couldn't keep a secret and told me whereabouts to look, found in 1 second then. I'm not sure how I missed it previously! TFTC
This was the second time I approached this geocache. The first time I was unsuccessful, but today I was approached by a muggle who decided to sit on the park bench. However! I will find it soon. Hopefully when it isn’t raining as much
Arrived and here and expected this to be a nice quick find. Oh how wrong one can be. We certainly took some time to find this one but find it we did. Thanks for the cache.
Boy did we spend some serious time looking for this one. It paid off as we were able to add our names to the log. Thanks for the cache.
Looked high and low but no luck here for me today. Hope I will have more luck next time.
Thanks anyway
Thanks anyway
Wandered around a bit. Got asked what I was doing. Wandered around a bit more.

This was our fifth time here. We have searched everywhere!!! Had to call on CO for some help. All I can say is, I can’t believe we missed that.
Great spot to find my first cache. I must have walked past there a hundred times before haha
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.

Found it! A third attempt on the sneaky cache proved successful. Thanks, The_Tritonz, for the cache and the little hint that helped me a lot!
Very difficult to find, searched for about 25 minutes through 2 attempts but no luck

RGSBruce had an appointment in Belmont this morning and dragged me along. The inducement was fish and chips at the Geelong Boat House on the way home and we were a bit early, so we made the stop here on the way there.
Thank goodness for caching instincts or we may have been here quite a while. The electronic devices were all over the place like a mad dog's breakfast. Not sure whether it was the overcast or the closeness of power lines, but the iPhone and GyPSy were both wonky today.

I had an appointment in Belmont this morning and dragged HerIndoorsOutdoors with me. The inducement was lunch at the Boat House on Western Beach, so we made the stop here on the way there.
This wasn't much out of our way, so a quick pull in. The cache took a little longer to find than it should have thanks to the iPhone and GyPSy pointing us in multiple different directions, none of which were quite right. Applied a little bit of caching instinct and soon found the hide despite the electronic misdirection.
The cache is in good condition.

Many, many visits to this place searching and searching, searching for what I wanted. On one visit a driver tooted and called out it's over ...... and kept on driving. That didn't help. I had already looked there many times.
Today I was out with sorceysal and 08151605 for the annual the Christmas fun in Geelong.
sorceysal had previously found it so I took up her offer of another look for it. It still took some searching before I finally spotted that well camoed little b....... HOORAY!!!!

Stopped by for a quick look. Nice park but no cache found. Another day perhaps.
Another troublesome cache off the list. Pretty straightforward after all as well. Hate that! TFTC
We have checked this one out because of the DNF's and found that it is still in place waiting to be found.
Day out caching with sassieold55 and Jackjames1993, couple of muggle workers here today cutting the grass.TFTC
Traveled over here after an event with a few sets of eyes and the cache was found quickly. Cigc. Tftc
It was good to find this one! We had a look the other day but almost froze. Tonight we came with a few more eyes and found it very quickly. Tftc
Woohoo!!! I was here the other day and logged a dnf (I'm blaming the cold!!). Tonight, after an event we headed over here with more eyes and the cache was soon in hand. Tftc
After the awesome event we decided to grab a couple of caches. This one kenare couldn't find the other day so we decided to have another look .... bingo. Thanks for the cache
We headed this way caching today. Sadly we didn't find it today. Perhaps a case of cache blindness or most likely that the wind was so strong and bitterly cold that I was worried that we would freeze on the spot if we stood still for too long!! We will be back to search again!! Tfth
Found by Mary & David at 1455. David was waiting for Mary to finish a nearby appointment, and came here for the third and longest find of the day. Took a good 10 minutes going back and forth around the place where the container was finally located. It blends in very well. Our thanks to The_Tritonz.
As with previous finders my gps was at least 2-3m out. It also had me in the middle of the grass area. But here is a hint - its not there. Good luck.
Thx for the cache

Finally snared this tricky little beastie. Returning from a very well known Bottle shop and decided to have a quick look again?? Much thanks to Spooky nanna. She is developing a certain skill with Bison hunting.

Another day of caching around Geelong and more finds ... obvious when you find it.
Thanks for the cache The Tritonz.

Staying nearby in Geelong for the Airshow. I decided to take a look for this one as it is just down the street.
First look yesterday resulted in no luck and the GPSr seem to be all over the place. I gave up and later decided to contact the CO for guidance.
A prompt reply with some information helped me make the find today. A good concealment.
I signed the log and visted a track able. TFTC The_Tritonz.

Checked on this one tonight due to the recent DNF's and we are happy to report the cache is still in place.
Parked close and headed across. Searched for a while and should have spotted it earlier but was thinking of a differernt hide. We completed the siging duties and re hid. TFTC
I was searching for this one a little bit till I seen something and bam there is was. Nice camo. Also log is full I had no spare log paper to replace. TFTC.
I was just perusing the map, when I realised that I never logged this find. Well that was a bit embarrassing, seeing as I was in the company of the CO's........ We had to return here, as there was a muggle sitting right at GZ. A nice little hide, that was found after a short search. TFTC The_Tritonz
What a difference a stable GPS makes. Found in 2 seconds. Another frown turned upside down.
Another find by the McPhail family

I was out and about, collecting a few cache son this night when I went searching for this. The last time I had to search for a bison tube, it took me almost an hour! Thankfully this one didn't take as long and I quickly had cache in hand!
Took longer to find than I would like to admit. Definitely need to look at the right angle
Had been here once previously but with no luck (dunno if it was because it was at night time or if it was because l had just finished a bug night lol) but today l was keen for a find especailly after a 30min dnf just before lol. Again after about 30 mins with still no luck l resorted to a paf. This confirmed that what we had thought and that we were looking for what we thought it was and where it was. It would have been no more then a few minutes after confirmation did l hear one of the fellas yell out how they hell did we miss that.

Couldn't find it under extreme weather conditions. None of the clues helped. Will try again when I'm in the area.
Phew! After searching high and low for another one in this area, we were certain that we could only find one cache per day...until I happened to turn around and stare straight at it!! Very clever hide! Still has red thimble we were super pumped! #3 done!
Tftc very clever, finally found it after what seemed like we were searching forever.

Went back at dusk with a torch. Success! All the talk about camo had me waaaaayyyyy over thinking it. My GPS was off by maybe 2 metres. Now I will go and remove all the pickles, spikes and thorns from my extremities.

Had a good look and got thoroughly prickled. They're still in my fingers. No luck. Maybe gloves next time. GPS says it's in the middle of the grass. Not super helpful. So many possibilities in this park too.
Tonight the moon light did not help me, l remember a time when all l use to do was cache at night but apparently not anymore lol

Couldn't find it this time. I think it may have been taken but I could be wrong. Happy caching
great hide. After we had our hands on this cache we realised it shouldn't have been such a hard find. after all it was under our nose the whole time.
No joy here today, loads of traffic and bike riders about.....enjoyed the two magpies chortling away though. Will be back to have another look.
finally I can tick this guy off, nice hide supa accurate coordinates! TFTC TNLN SL
