On the way out to camping with my baby kylarae6 and we found this cool cache! Yayyy!
Today began my week long solo adventure on the North Island from Atlanta in the U.S. I put GeoJayne on the plane and made my way up the Coromandel peninsula. The weather wasn't very nice, but does that really matter when you have a cachetur plan and the need to hit the road so you don't miss your geocaching partner too much?I always manage to find the thorns when I'm geocaching and I did just that getting to this cool container. At least there were some pretty flowers nearby!Awarding a favorite point. Thank you for the smiley and the fun!
A quick weekend trip to NZ for a special hike - landed and straight across the island to our base of operations. But first .... a coffee, and a couple of caches here. Nice one. Thanks nzkites for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #12298}*
Found with Pprime. Our 1st in NZ this trip. A quick stop for a bite to eat. Great cache.TFTC
Hello from Seattle! After an amazing trip along the southern coast of Australia heading from Sydney to Adelaide to attend a Mega-Event with my fellow Lackey and best Geobuddy Giacaches, we headed over to New Zealand for a week of caching and adventure - as I often say, we've never been closer, so it made perfect sense to plan for a stop. We have a loop around the North Island on the schedule, and I'm so excited to see all the things there is to see!Today we wrapped up the coast on the way to Auckland and found all kinds of caches as well as getting on the water - every day on this trip is just 10/10.This was a quick one - thanks so much for adding to the trip!
Greetings from Seattle! I traveled down under with jtcoffee to attend the Great Leap Forward Mega-Event in Adelaide on Leap Day. Of course, a trip from Seattle to Australia just wouldn't be complete without a detour through New Zealand Per usual, We're squeezing in as many extra activities as we can, including, but not limited to: Logging our geocache finds in the southern hemisphere Finding Australia's oldest, [GC3E](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC3E) at Lane Cove, and the first-ever Earthcache, [GCHFT2](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCHFT2) Enjoying the spectacle of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour in Sydney Cruising along the scenic Great Ocean Road Completing a challenge that requires finding 31 Earthcaches and 31 Virtuals in 31 days ([GC32TBZ](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC32TBZ) and [GC32TC2](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC32TC2)) Finding the oldest cache placed outside of the US, [GC46](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC46) Exploring the iconic Lord of the Rings filming locations across New Zealand We found this as we were making our way towards Auckland. Clever hide! Thanks for keeping this in play and contributing to our epic adventure
Grabbing a couple of caches as we finish heading North this evening. Loved this one, well hidden, and like others mentioned, we also initially wrongly first identified GZ, but once we made the correction, the cache was quickly in hand. Looking forward to doing more of the series in the future! TFTC
4-week family trip through NZ - Find #24!We first looked at the wrong place. When I browsed through the latest logs, I found an interesting remark. Then we looked a few meters further down the road, and found the correct hint objects and the cache .TFTC!
After years on our bucket list and three cancellations due to Covid, we are thrilled to finally be here. Following several cruises we flew from Sydney, Australia to Wellington, New Zealand to begin our next adventure. Picked up our rental vehicle and will be driving, exploring, hiking, and caching both islands for 3.5 weeks. Great coordinates took us directly to the cache where we were soon adding our ink to the log. Appreciated the safe parking area nearby, but off the busy highway. Thanks for adding to our adventure today, Nukeworker and Racquetball Girl, Arkansas, USA
Nearly gave up on this one then looked along the road a few metres and saw 2 more white posts. An easy find after that. Cache and contents are all good. Thanks for the placement.
We are travelling from Auckland to Tauranga and these are great stops along the way! Thanks for the neat hiding spots. Forgot the pen so couldn’t sign the log sadly.
Today we are on the way from Whitianga to Auckland. We also visited this tradi, found it, and signed the logbook.
***T4T$ - Many Thanks to nzkites for hiding and maintaining of this cache*** ️

Like previous cachers, we thought the GPS was slightly out, and focused our attention on the wrong white posts! But after some unsuccessful hunting, we happened upon the GZ and soon had the cache in hand. TFTC
Out geocaching on World Record day - exploring some more of our local region. Yahoo - we know we only needed one to support the record but this is our 21st today which is a daily record for us .Thanks for the clever cache and the smiley .
LOL really enjoyed this hide, wondered if it was a silly thought to try it- and it wasn't tftc, and great trade items though nothing taken as I have nothing to leave today, d'oh
Stopped off for a pie at the café before finding the cache. Loved the cammo. Picked up a nice trackable. Thanks.
Was at the wrong post for a bit but walking further on, I knew I found it. Cute cache! Fave point here. Tftc
Looked at the different white posts for ages & tried to decipher the hint. Then realised co-ordinates weren't right & what do you know, more white posts. Quick find once we were in the right place. Tftc
Was trying to work out what the hint meant, searching around the different white posts. Then suddenly sharp eyed kimbathelion spotted more white posts and the cache was soon in hand. A nice place to leave my trackable here for her onward travels. Thanks
So many white posts to choose from but found the right place. Definitely best to do this one heading away from Auckland. TFTC
It's my Mega weekend road trip! This is day five and I'm traveling to Tauranga with a short detour up from Thames to get the awest Coromandel Geotour caches. Will expand on my logs, post photos, qualifying caches for challenges, etc. When I get home. TFTC
First stop on the road, now that I've escaped from Auckland. A familiar type of hide if you've found some of the railway caches much further south.

I spent the day today concentrating on the T2A-R series of caches (in my case, Auckland - Tauranga - Auckland). I got wind (on FB) from the C.O’s that these would be winding down soon, they have been going for some time and the maintenance is getting too much. So I set a plan in action and decided today I would complete the series. I have actually done most of them with rustynz and Rebel98 and supernanny about 6 years ago, but for some reason I surely can not remember, I didn’t bother collecting the numbers. Well, that was mainly what I had to do today.
We parked at the Pink Pig and walked down the road verge to this one. Was at a loss to start with until I decided one object was out of place, and on further investigation and cache was soon in had ... adding a favourite point for sure, well done!
We are on our summer holiday, we usually take a few weeks and travel around the South Island, but this year we are heading around the North Island. Heading up the West coast and back down the East coast. Finding only a select few caches along the way, we are mostly targeting some challenges we have qualified for, some large size caches, some that fill gaps in our date placed grid, a few D/T combinations, some with lots of favourite points, letterboxes and anything else that grabs our fancy.
I had a fall on day two of our holiday, while out geocaching which has resulted in a fractured bone in my leg and I am in a moon boot and with crutches and I was told to keep weight off my leg. So I am only limited use when it comes to our trip now. I tend to stay in the campervan and just hand out suggestions of when and where GK should search.
A nice quick find here, gk went and found it and signed the log then he returned it as he found it. There was a cacher who was based in Blenheim who put out a series like this container so gk knew immediately where to look.
Thanks for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley.

North Island Campervan trip Day 4
After the fantastic holiday I had a few months ago traveling around the South Island, making the most of one of those incredibly cheap campervan deals available at the time, I figured it was worth taking a week off work before the stresses of the usual holiday period to enjoy some of the delights to be found around the top of the North Island.
This would be a great chance for me to seek out some targeted caches such as the TMGT ones as well as some that would help me with my Jasmer grid, missing minutes (for a couple of challenge caches I'm working on) and any other caches that caught my eye.
I had just picked up the campervan and my intention was to make my way over to the Coromandel and end up in Whitianga for the night. I was looking forward to the journey as this is not a route I have traveled often, and never since discovering Geocaching! For this part of my journey, I was just looking for simple park 'n' grabs, not too far off my route, and this one seemed to fit the bill.
I was able to park close to this one, and having seen this type of cache before it truly was a quick find. There were no issues at all with this cache or the log, which was signed and replaced before I was back on my way again.
Thanks for setting this cache up. Happy to give a FP for the hide

Stopped at the Cafe on the corner and walked down the road to the cache. They sell really nice pies there too, might be a good idea to stop on my way home
A quick park and grab on our way home to TGA. Felt suspicious as heck squatting in plain view of the road and rummaging around haha.
Found this one on our drive up to auckland. What a great hide. Love the instructions. Thanks for the cache

Continuing our caching adventure with AFBEE, GW78 and ondago. Hate to leave this area as we have enjoyed exploring here... need to come back! We board the cruise ship today. TFTFun nzkites
Our caching journey with 6ftzp&1/2zip continues we are heading to Auckland to board a cruise ship. We have enjoyed the beautiful scenery and will miss NZ. Thanks nzkites for your caches and the fun they gave us.
Found with AF BEE, 6ftzpr&1/2zip, and ondago while on a geocaching vacation. Thanks for placing this cache.
OCW GeoWench78, traveling between Tauranga and Auckland this morning before boarding a cruise ship...nice container...took a minute to figure out the easy way to extract the container, left a trackable...TFTC!
Having finished with my work commitments for the week I had some spare time today to go out and find a few caches. I headed off in a south - east - north - west kind of loop. Had a good time with a variety of caches found along the way. A clever cache construction here. I had a bit of trouble actually getting the cache out of its hiding place but I sorted that out eventually. TFTC, Biggles.
Driving from Whitianga to whangarei today it was good to stop and stretch the legs!! Busy, busy road though. TFTC
As we were driving north on this road we spotted this cache with many favourites so we thought we’d stop for it. It’s of a design we’ve seen near Picton but not this far north. If I had a favourite point I’d give it to you but I’m running out.
Easily found but a bit of trouble with the extraction.

At first we didn’t really get what it meant by ‘find the white posts, then turn anticlockwise and all will be revealed! But when we did find it it was great!!

Stopped on our way to Rotorua. The cache was soon found, well camouflaged.
Afterwards we had a quick lunch at the nearby cafe.

Yay! I love caches like this one! We arrived at GZ on our way to Auckland and narrowed down the hunt with the GPS. My 'muggle mother' had just had her hand on the cache without realising it but all was soon revealed. Awesome! TFTC
First day in Neuseeland and fix und fertig, da für uns heute ja nachts ist.

We have driven past this one a few times and always forget too late that there is a cache here.
The same thing almost happened again today but we managed to pull out of the traffic flow just in time and parked right beside GZ.
This is an awesome hide, we love these ones in plain sight...but not.
A favourite point from us, we look forward to finding more in the series.

Me and the dude heading home from a banger day thrifting the fair in Stranger Thames, and had to slide in and snatch this cache. Still got a stash of good lil loots in there. Sturdy cache. Very nice. Many thanks.
We are on vacation in New Zealand and of course we seek some caches.
Thanks for this one! First looked at the wrong place. Than we looked further and saw this obvious geocachingsticker.
Favo in.

The Central North Island, Day 1: Auckland - Coromandel
Today we headed out for our last great adventure in New Zealand, which was to cover The Central North Island, as far down as Ruapehu. We set off from Auckland on an overcast day, and was met with rain for the better part of the morning and afternoon. That still didn’t stop me from caching, as I had been well-prepared with a raincoat and picked up only the easier ones. As the rain cleared up, there was a nice stiff breeze that accompanied me in my hunts along the Thames Coast of the Coromandel Peninsula. A relatively good, if somewhat damp day, overall.
The following is the specific log for each cache:
A nice little cache that I felt I had to come pick up on my road to Coromandel. The rain was persisting, which made the find here a damp and windy affair. Glad that this one was easily found once I got to the right white posts. TFTC!
