With so many DNF's on this one, as well as a CO that doesn't seem to be active, something needs to be done.

Didnt find, but i didnt look that hard as a muggle family were out in their yard and i didnt want to seem like too much of a creep.
Searched for nearly 30mins with two of us but nothing. Hoping to see a find soon so we know it's there and can go back.
I was down in the area for my Grandsons 1st Birthday party so I thought this would be a good one to grab after the festivities.
Squidy16 is my Grandsons Aunty who I had introduced to Geocaching at hims mums 30th Birthday party. Squidy16 had loaded the app and had a look around but never ventured to find a cache. This one being in her local and only a short walk from base was ideal for here first find.
So we trundled over the paddock and while I zeroed in using the GPS her keen eyes spotted the object of desire and the log was duly signed. We replaced the container and added a little more cammo.
Well done Squidy16 on your first find on a first birthday. An apt cache name too.
Find #490 for me today.

Found it! My very first! Will head back and leave a note as I didn't know to take a pen! Thanks for making it close to home, was a nice walk with the dogs
Catching up on some very late logs after a busy fireworks festive season.
Out for a day’s caching with The Drovers making the most of the cooler weather.
We had a bit of trouble finding our way close to GZ using our older maps but once there the cache was a nice easy find and sign under the watchful eye of a very friendly dog nearby.
Many thanks jay_lane for the hide.

We dropped by here on the way home from the Mornington drop-off. After a short walk around the corner in the sunshine, we arrived at GZ for a nice quick find at 13:45. Now, it's off to lunch.
TNLNSL, although a couple of our geocoins had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks jay_lane.

Being a cooler day than the last 2, we went caching around nearby suburbs with Team Crackers.
We found a variety of caches, and cache hides. This cache was located, after a short search.
Many thanks for placing this cache, jay_lane, for us and others to find.

Out caching with Biggles1024 today to pickup a few caches in the peninsular area that we both had not done.
We parked a little a little way down the road and walked back. Initially looked in the obvious spot before widening our search area and finding the cache. Nice sized container for this one. Whilst we were signing this one we noticed a malamut pup behind us that was looking for a pat as well. Very friendly but not a good watch dog!
Thanks for your first cache jay_lane.

Find #1761
I headed out with Swaggie1 this morning for a day's caching down the Westernport Bay side of the peninsula.
A short walk from the car and our search at the indicated GZ commenced. We found the cache without too much trouble then stopped to pat the very dog from the house over the fence which was able to put its head through the wire fence.

Today was lunch with my sister for her birthday so headed on down to Somerville and made sure I left a bit earlier to grab a few caches on the way.
I parked fairly nearby and walked towards the cache past the large grass area (why don't they put more houses there - maybe it floods?) and over the rocky road to arrive at GZ.
Started looking in the obvious place and didn't find it, then looked elsewhere it found it there.
Thanks jay_lane for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

Rainy day but that did not bother me. Found my way towards the cache through muddy parkland and found it soon after.
TFTH. Signed log.

Took a few minutes but we found it when we came at it from a different direction.

A nice little stroll to this little quiet area. Had to look pretty hard for this. After standing back and having a good look I went straight to it. Logged and safely tucked away.
After the rain cleared a little this afternoon Dunko and I went out for a short arvo of caching
some areas were very wet from the weather during the morning, regardless a very pleasant
time out. Many thanks to jay_lane for the effort and placement TNLN SL

Even though the weather was a bit iffy and both Slink1 and I had been out to different social events the night before we decided to venture out with not really a whole lot of motivation other than we thought we should do something this weekend. It was a bit soggy underfoot in most places we went but we found what we looked for. TFTC TNLN SL
Out with BorisB&Natasha on this very cold, wet and windy day. It was perfect for keeping the muggles away. We arrived at GZ and I quickly found the cache. Great first hide in a lovely area. Natasha thought she was getting paid to cache today as she found a $1 on the walk to this one and $2 on the walk to another one we did today.
Thanks for the cache jay_lane

Nut bear and I had been saving some local caches for a rainy day and we couldn't have got a day with more rain if we tried.
We nearly got blown over walking to this one as the wind was very strong today. Arrived at GZ and quickly found the cache. Fortunately no muggles about.
Thanks jay_lane for the cache and congratulations on your first hide. We really enjoyed it.

Took us a while being our first ever find, but once we did I don't know how we missed it lol.

I was heading to the Red Hill Express series and picking up some caches along the way. This was my second pickup for the day. It took a little while to find it after checking the obvious places. Thanks to jay_lane for the cache.
Arggg.... as I reached GZ I realised I left my pen on the car, so I raced back and retrieved the pen, once I reached GZ for the second time, there were two muggles in their back yard a couple of metres away from GZ, im going to need to come back to this one. Bugger
Found whilst out with some muggle friends for a spot of geocaching. The kids had a lot of fun hunting and trading. TFTC
After picking up my boy from kinder in Sommie, we headed on over to find this cache. After parking we made our way to GZ and started to search for the cache. I started searching one spot only to hear the words 'found it dad' a few seconds later. He's a gun cache finder !! Although I've lived in the area for a long time, this is the first time I've been here.
Well done on your first cache hide jay lane and thanks.

Being in the area and a quick detour I decided to have a crack at this little beauty - upon arriving on site I was surprised to note how huge the reserve actually is, and thought to myself - how awesome it would be to set up a Nite cache here.... It would be ideal. "hint hint"
The cache:
A nice sized cache - perfect set of coords and a very clever piece of camouflage - suits its surrounds perfectly.
Many thx to Jay_lane and lokn fwd to your next instalment.

My first FTF!! Yay! Nice area here and a great cache that I found quickly. Thanks - hopefully there's more local caches to come!
