maintenance asked for October 2015 after many DNF

well past time to be archived

DNF for us like previous logs may need maintenance .

Please check.

Waw out this way to pick up a bath so thought I would get a couple of quick ones.....but (based on the last logs as well) I think this one has been muggled.

Could not find

found the likely spot with additional co-ords provided in the logs, but only thing there was beer bottle...it's gone

Sorry forgot to log this one earlier, This was a DNF, co-ords led me to likely spot, but been big clean up all plants gone, only a small trace of plant related to hint down further but nothing there apart from rubbish, after I searched other likely spots as well.
This I would definitely say is gone.
At least I found the next one on my long walk via detour into Bunnings, Definitely earned my Milkshake after that.

Coordinates are certainly well off for this one. TFTC, Biggles.

Was out in the open. Have now hidden a bit better at same location.

Kids found it before I eben got close.

We were in the area on another mission and saw that we had DNF's this in the past but previous logs looked helpful. Following their clues we were able to locate the cache. Took a quick reading of the new co-ords which had an accuracy of 3m.

I had decided that we werent going to find this, when TW spotted it 30m away. Thanks.

A little late in the logging, and I see the cache has now been archived. But back then the log was signed little rusty, but I also was signing as little rebel, little blackbird, and because it was already taken we had to add the 1.

Searched a few other areas, then the cabbage trees got my attention. The co-ords are around 20m out.

Avoid the fenceline, these plants have nasty thorns, no good for littlies or adults!

Had to check out the park, had little rusty with me today, so a swing and slide was a must adventure

Found it with alieyxo took a while but isn't where it should be. As you walk in you'll see it. Xoxoxoxo

Find it while caching for my birthday. Arrived at the area and told the kids it's in one of these trees go haha. Tftc

This one was a little tricky as I think it may have been moved from it's original location. Kinda fluked finding this one because the hint doesn't really match the actual tree/location.

Was out grabbing random caches that werent around the first time I was in the area, Didnt find this due to muggles in the area.

Had trouble with the clue for this one and did not match the location that my phone directed me to but found in the end.

Just arrived in Auckland to attend a wedding, also tme to find a few caches.
The co-ords were about 20m out but there is only a few groups of trees here where it may be hid.
Very quiet park today.

The co ord's were just a little off. So used the hint. It was a new log sheet.

Have looked in all the hint could give, but a definitely no find and I think it's gone

On the way home from a spot of caching and thought we would grab one more before the end of the day and just happened to be going right by this one, great little hide, t4tc!

Had a real cache party here after bumping into move star and SethRaven (for the second time today) while I was out with Martz_10. Nice little hide, found easily with a quick bit of team work.

I had to take my cachemobile south to Takanini for a bit of maintenance which didn't take long so had a couple of hours to kill so decided to pick up the odd cache.

This cache has its lid missing.

Searched the only logical place that the gps pointed to but no cache for us today.

We had to come out to the Takanini Strait this morning on business so it seemed most appropriate to pick up this cache for our daily find. Luckily a break in the rain coincided with parking and the short walk to GZ. The logbook is safe and dry despite the outer container being missing its lid. Just started to rain again as I got back into the truck. TFTC.

Quick find once muggles had moved on. Container is missing its lid but log was still ok. TFTC!

A quick find as we missed our turn off and made for the next nest of caches. t4tc

Was searching for "kindergarten" nearby so popped over to snag this on the way home. Spotted quickly once I searched the right clue item and GPSr decided to come to the party. Surprised it hasn't been disturbed from its position but long may it hang in there. Replaced and covered with leaves. Cheers!

A spot of weekend caching in Auckland. Nice one.
Made a straightforward find on this one, sort of. Cache in order; log signed, safely re-hidden.
We chose an interesting time to visit this area. Road closures, police, cordons, and later to learn a robbery and stabbing. It all happens in Takanini.

This one took a little longer, spent a few minutes barking up the wrong tree haha but when we did get it, it smacks u straight in the face lol... Great fun, thank you!

Interesting history

I've driven past this park countless times without realising there is a park here. Although the GPS was about 10m out the cache was soon located as it is pretty much in clear view for anyone looking at the right height and there wasn't much that could be done to improve the cammouflage. Thanks for the local history lesson too.

My first find after a 6 year hiatus! TFTC.

It's so nice seeing another cache within walking distance of my home. I took my son for a walk, a pity he fell asleep and didn't get to enjoy the park, but great for me as I could just pull the pram up to GZ and get a quick find

Easy find! WARNING: swing possessed by demonic power. After finding the cache we thought a swing would be nice. WRONG. Fell off and did a complete bodyslam into the ground. Tftc anyway hahaha

Spent a wee while barking up the wrong tree, but once we were in the right place it was a nice quick find. It was a bit tricky opening and closing the container as TFTC.

Yah... I finally worked out the technology to get notifications quickly to be able to compete for FTF. mission accomplished I was rewarded for my efforts with a blank log - celebrating our second FTF esp since only been caching for 4 mths now.
It was also great to meet mitzi madman who was hot on my tail.
Notification came through whilst our team was deciding the days plan of where to head to attempt to reach 200.

Saw this come up this morning so headed out with half of JoJa1213 to try to secure a FTF for them - but was beaten to the spot. TFTC

Tried for a FTF on this but was beaten by Sita-crane, Good to meet you, TFTC.

A nice quick find while heading south along a line of new caches. Found this cache open (lid just kind of sitting loosely on top). TFTC!!!

Headed over here after a joint FTF with MrRUSH742 to this new listing, having already been beaten to the FTF by Mitsimadman and Stik-a-crane. Cache was quickly found but lid was rather loose. Seems as if its difficult to reattach the lid firmly with the cache tethered in the tree. Signed log and carried on home to get some breakfast. TFTC!
