I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi Readyboys4
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.

We also couldn’t find it - had a good look at clues etc and see others haven’t found it this month
There's been some heavy rain and it looks like the cache may have been washed away. Couldn't spot it at all crawling around the GZ
The path was quite muddy and there must’ve been a vehicle come through here recently since there’s oil throughout the grass. Quick find once getting to GZ. TFTC
We went for a lockdown walk and found it after looking for the troll under the bridge
Glad we had headlamps on for this one. Definitely dark and dingy after dark. Found with Sportynz
Nice little walk out in the park!
Was a bit out of place, so I tucked it in better.
Thanks for the cache!

Great place to visit after doing the trail to the N/West. Lotsa water inside , cleaned it out, added new waterproof log and bag.
We parked up nearby and wondered over the wet and muddy paths with the stream trickling in the background. We arrived at the trolls home and quickly found the cache.Unfortunately the container was just as wet and it was hard to sign any of the paper already inside. We drained out the water and signed some spare paper which we had in our pockets and left it inside.
We wandered over the very dry grass towards the trail, and were grateful for the shade of the trees from the hot summer sun. Once we found where the trolls live, it wasn't long before we located the cache.
Very easy find. Not signed as lid wasnt closed properly and everything is soaked. New bag and log is needed
We found this but we couldnt log it because the container and bags were all water logged. Be wary if u are finding this with kids as the cache location is slippery. Cache Needs maintenance. TFTC
We headed over towards Glen Innes this morning to go caching as we wanted to boost our finds on this calendar date. The pathway to access GZ is still showing signs of the storms a few weeks ago - a few branches etc to negotiate along the way. Once at GZ we made quick work of locating the cache. Thanks.
I'm back in Auckland again, for one of my regular visits. On these occasions, Friday mornings usually finds me sitting with a coffee and my laptop, thinking about where I might drive to today to do a bit of caching.
Well no sooner than I'd powered the laptop up, I find an interesting post asking for help with a joint effort to grab a cache at Bastion Point. As it turns out, I'm not very far away from GZ so I jump in the car and zoom off to make the search. That was a the start of a bit of a mini-hunt for me this morning, as having found that one, and being in a part of Auckland I hadn't previously visited as a Geocacher, I wonder what other ones were around here?
This one was on my way back to base, so it was an easy park up and walk to GZ. It was a relatively straightforward find, courtesy of a good Hint. The container and logbook are not in great shape. I don't recommend the use of this kind of container, even though they are cheap and plentiful, as no matter how they are positioned water always gets in. In this case, the logsheet is mush and not signable, so I took a photo as proof instead, before replacing everything exactly as found.
Thanks for placing this cache.

The container really needs to be replaced with one more suited to keeping water out. The logbook is mush and will need a complete dry out or else replacing.
Not very waterproof. Suggest a more watertight container. Couldn't record my details due to excessive water. TFTC
Last one for today around here before heading back to the next train. Log a bit wet so left another small piece of paper, TFTC
I had some spare time to look for a few caches before my work meetings began not too far from here. This was the first cache I came to. Saw where I needed to look and hoped I wouldn't get my work clothes too dirty. All good as the cache was easily reached. Container not exactly watertight but still serviceable. TFTC, Biggles.
Nice and easy find. A bit wet and damp inside the container. A new logbook is needed. TFTC
With a hard fought puzzle to claim in the area and a dot day to fill we braved the weather and decided to drop by this one as well. The cache was filled with water and log is unusable. Fortunately a previous finder had added a new log and even though the plastic wrap doesn't look like it would be water tight it is still in good condition and we signed on that log. Could do with a more water tight container here as it looks to be quite a damp area even when the weather isn't so bad. TFTC.
There was no one in sight this evening and we made a quick find.
The contents of the cache were quite wet but we managed to carefully sign the log and keep it in one piece.
Nice spot, thanks for bringing us here.

Had been looking forward to today all week with another goal in mind to try to grab a few Auckland based caches that "obviously" needed collecting (as it would just be right). So at 4am I met up with RWIMF for a good days caching and an over ambitious plan (Home by 3.30pm). We signed most of these with "RWCD" or some such variation there of.
So today I managed a grand total of 54 finds (only 3DNF's) and plenty of conversation. All I can say for the days activity in Auckland was that traffic was all good till just before 10am and absymal for the rest of the time until we started heading for home so that I could still get some chores done for the day.
Walked in from the end and managed to avoid all the water (thankful for the tramping boots). Soon located the cache full of water (often happens with this container type) so emptied it out as best we could and carefully signed the log (which was relatively dry) before heading back to the car. Cache all good to go for the next cacher
Thanks for the placement, thanks for the cache

Left tb for the next person through here. Cache was full of water. We emptied it out, carefully wrote on the log and carried on our way.
I'd received a message from cats & dragons asking if I wanted to do a mission a few weeks ago - he wanted to clean out some new caches in an area he'd cleaned out a few years ago. I'd shrugged and said "sure, but could I have a rain check as I was overseas" at the time.
I arrived back in the country on Monday, and so he had the adventure planned for the following Saturday. I said I'd be happy to start early, as long as it was my early not his - so we negotiated a 4am pick up The good thing was we left Auckland at about 2pm, so was home at a reasonable time.
The good thing about these trips? he has all the caches logged into the GPS, and he gave me a print out, so I could mark them off
Driving on our way up to Auckland towards the Mt Wellington area I had to laugh - he had some of my friends caches, and even on of mine on the list.

My son was very excited as this was our first geocache with tradeables. And we have discovered a lovely walk. Thank you!
This was my second attempt at finding this and finally found it... No pencil there though...
There was a drunk asleep in the park nearby but nipped past him and soon had the cache in hand. TFTC
The entrance to the path was cordoned off with tape and a 'danger, do not enter' sign, but as Pazzabella and I don't read so well we entered anyway. We soon found the reason for the tape, an old rotten tree right by GZ was taped up and was creaking in the wind and looked ready to fall. I quickly found the cache, signed the log then left the danger zone. I wouldn't be surprised if the tree came down later in the day as the wind picked up.
We didn't go across the water, but we did go across the 'DANGER do not enter tape'
As we weren't sure what the 'danger' was, we went cautiously incase some hideous troll surprised us. The geohounds can't read and went ahead of us confidently. We found the cache free of trolls but warily watched the tree beside us groaning and creaking dangerously. Tftc!

The mission of today was to grab a few caches with specific attributes for my current geolicence. This was the third cache of the day and a nice easy one... although getting to it was very muddy and it was swarming with mozzies under there. Inside the cache had a bit of water and everything was soaked so I cleaned it out as much as I could and put the log in a new ziplock bag. TFTC!
Got nice n dirty getting this one, just as well I was in my running gear and was a little muddy already from running through the horse paddocks! #79
Quick walk and great clue. Wet ground at the moment so don't wear your Sunday best when hunting for this one. Tftc
Needed a "Regular" cache for the GIO challenge I am doing so here I am in the dawn darkness. Nice quick find as per the clue. Things are a little damp but still signable. TFTC
Took a little while and got a little grubby but found it
Have moved it slightly so the next person might not to have to get as stuck into it!

Was heading out with some caching buddies to attempt an FTF on a nearby puzzle cache that seemed to be a bit tricky, and as it seemed I would arrive at GZ a little early, I thought I would stop off for a cache on the way.... also to continue a streak challenge I had begun with some of the same caching buddies (I was slightly worried that we might DNF the puzzle, like the cachers before us had done!). This cache seemed to be the nearest unfound cache to where I was going.
Parked up and headed in... was surprised to see horses in the middle of suburbia... hadn't been expecting that! Nevertheless, I made my way across the grass, trying to avoid all the poop, and made it to GZ. It was starting to get a little dark, so I picked my way gingerly down the bank and quickly found the cache- it had rolled down a bit, so I replaced it as intended after signing the log.
TFTC!!! Day number 4 of my streak.... 46 to go!!!

No hunting required - found this cache open & its contents (including log book) strewn everywhere. Put it back where I thought it should have been. Good luck to the next person!!
While waiting to collect Miss Davieland from her gymnastics class I thought I'd look for this cache. Easy to spot with the hint. TFTC.
