We decided to head out early to do a bit of caching before the heat of the day.
TFTC JacobsCrew this is find # 8758 for us.

Looked in the obvious place for ages, only to find it a little ways off. GPS bouncing. TFTC
Found a few more caches in this series while out walking on the Bibbulmun Track today. This was my first cache of the day and I very nearly gave up! It took me a long time! In the end I just happened to look in the right direction, at the right angle, and there it was. As it had been all along, grrrr! Forgot to pick up the bonus code as well!
Dropped a key TB I brought back with me from England.

We headed out for another day up in the hills and surrounding areas to add a few more smilies, happy to say we came up trumps here today with a nice quick find TFTC
Out with themongrel for a sunday morning walk and then of course somewhere for lunch, We decided on this series as it was nearby a venue we wanted to go for lunch. Most of the caches were easily found including a archived cache which is still in place. TFTC Jacobscrew2. We didn't get all of them today but the few we have left we will grab during the week.
Out and about with BJA3 to solve this series. A quick find here, TFTC JacobsCrew! Thirteenth find for the day!
17th and final find for the morning. My GPS was out of batteries so relied on the iphone. Found the cache after a wide search. Thanks JacobsCrew for a great geocaching hunt in the forest.
We had not been caching for a few weeks, the WAGB17 is a few weeks away, so need to practice. The weather is great, no excuse. SL TNLN TFTC
After quite a search of the area (which passed the cache three times!), the GPS changed its mind and took me straight to it. TFTC.
Thank you! I've had my eye on this series for a while, and decided today was the day. The forecasted showers and storm never eventuated, so with blue skies it ended up warmer than I expected. I did the series in numerical order, as that seemed to involve the least backtracking. Found this one without too much issue.
The weather finally had mercy on human kind in the region and let some spring out, so what better way to spend a day, than geocaching in a good company! Teamed up with Mistraluna, and decided to tackle the Outback Jack series, to get some fresh air, good exercise and lots of smileys on a beautiful walk and believe it or not, no flies, no mozzies - Perfecto! And the best bit was, that we found all the caches, yay!
Headed up this way today with Eliktrisiti, hoping to knock out the Outback Jack series which has been on my radar for way too long, but I just never seemed to get out here to do them. Previous plans always seem to go awry for one reason or another.
But the planets aligned for us today, and two eager geocachers sallied forth, ready for rain, hail or shine, set on a mission to conquer this series at long last. Fortunately the weather held out for us for the entire two circuits, and we managed to find each and every one of the caches (had to resort to PAF on one of them though), whilst another took considerable longer to find than we anticipated also, but we found both eventually. Most of the caches were in good order, but several along the southernmost section of the series were a tad wet and could do with with some TLC when the CO is next out that way.
All in all, an excellent series of caches. Thank you JacobsCrew2 for all the work that went into the planning and placement of this series. We really enjoyed our day out there - was hoping for more wildflowers, but hey, can't have everything I guess. Am more than happy with my swag of smileys.

TFTC! Spent the day out caching with Barnzy12 and krabiBoy. We went to the suburbs of Lesmurdie, Kalamunda and Carmel chasing a number of quick and easy park and grabs, a few
Archived caches, and a few caches that helped fill some DT Grid.
We changed the dynamic up today, Barnzy Drove and i instantly regretted the decision not to take my car however it was due for a service and i was now the navigator. So we picked KrabiBoy up from Bayswater area where he was getting some extra bits added to his car.
We chased a heap of nanos and micro caches in Kalamunda, a few of which seemed to be missing, which was quite frustrating, and we had some DNFs through there. We then avoided other micros in the area and concentrated on some simple park and grabs to get the numbers up for the day.
We then moved our attention to the lesmurdie falls national park and grabbed a few odd caches in there including a nice and simple Earth Cache.
We moved further into lesmurdie area and grabbed a few of the small bunches of caches placed by fernandogirls, which were mostly nice quick grabs. The outback jack series was next which we completed quickly before heading to the car to grab the final in the series, which has been on the radar for far too long.
Thanks to the COs for a Great day out and we can't wait to come back for more!!

Archived caches, and a few caches that helped fill some of KrabiBoys DT Grid.
We changed the dynamic up today, with Cravos car in for a service we had to take my car and have me drive and him on the Nav, which is an interesting role reversal from the norm. So we picked KrabiBoy up from Bayswater area where he was getting some extra bits added to his car.

We then moved our attention to the lesmurdie falls national park and grabbed a few odd caches in there including a nice and simple Earth Cache. We encountered some decent terrain through the area, which really got the heart racing and even had me forgetting to navigate us to the last cache in a small loop we grabbed!!
We moved further into lesmurdie area and grabbed a few of the small bunches of caches placed by fernandogirls, which were mostly nice quick grabs before turning our attention to the last loop I had left of the outback jack series, which we completed quickly before heading to the car to grab the final in the series, which has been on the radar for far too long.
All in all it was a great day, with many tall tales told and war stories shared. A fair bit of piss take on my driving skills and Cravos navigation skills until we decided to restore order by having Cravo drive my new car! Which thankfully came
Back in one piece.
Thanks to the COs for a lovely day out and we can't wait to come back for more!!

For a long time, Barnzy12, cravo10 and I have been trying to tee up a day to head out and grab some caches. Finally the planets aligned and we were able to get out and about today.
We headed up the hill to start clearing up some of the caches around Lesmurdie and Carmel.

Thinking it was going to be the last cool day for a while AutumnOwl and I set out to make a start on this series, it was nice to do a series with such a variety of sizes and styles which kept us on our toes. Some finds were quick, others we searched high and low for. Was a pity to see someone before us had snapped the tops off blackboys at a number of GZ's leaving arrows and 'x' marks the spot. I'm a big believer in leaving a place as it is found. Thank you for bringing us to the beautiful piece of bush. TFTC
We decided to do a bush series before the hot weather hits. Today was a beautiful cool spring day and we really enjoyed the walk. We found this one quite quickly and our second last for the day, we were nearly back at the car. Two mountain bike riders went past as we left this cache, they had shirts on that were the exact same as my son's high school shirts (but we live way out of area) so was just a coincidence. TFTC:)
Great series. The whole family had a great Father's Day! TFTC. We'll be back for the rest on another day.
Lots of possible hiding spots but we were lucky to spot it from the right angle. TFTC
Decided to tackle the Outback Jack series today. Parked across the road from #18 and started there. Logged that one at 2:32pm and the last one (#15 - a DNF) at 6:07pm. Found 30 caches and had 5 DNFs. There were 3 that I didn't attempt as it was dark by the time I was on the last leg from 7 through 15 ... I have new specs with a new prescription and was not confident walking through the scrub in the dark so I only did the ones close to the track.
Of the DNFs, I think 34 may be missing and possibly 5 ... I did have a good look for both of those while it was still light, but the others were in the dark and I only had a quick look before moving on.
Thanks for this series JacobsCrew ... I did enjoy the walk, the only downer being the appalling amount of rubish that is dumped in the bush.
I will be back one day for the ones I didn't get. Sorry for generic log

Back out this weekend to continue exploring this bit of Australian bush and to complete the rest of the cache's in this series by JacobsCrew 2 and maybe spread a few more pre-decimal coins around.
This Kalamunda Loop bike track looks challenging, they have put a bit of effort into setting it up.
Added a 1927 penny to the cache.
TFTC and series.

A beautiful spot for a walk as part of the Outback Jack Bush Walk series. TFTC JacobsCrew2. Some of the mountain bike jumps look great.
We had a spare day in Perth today and had planned to tackle the Outback Jack series. We woke up to a perfectly beautiful autumn day, so armed with our gps and some supplies we headed off down into the bush. We found all 38 of the caches today, so sorry about the rather generic logs that will be posted on all 38. The caches were hidden in many diverse places. Some were very easy to find, others were more of a challenge. Most were in very good condition apart from one that was rather wet. There are a myriad of tracks running through this bushland, and you do really need a gps to be able to locate where you are and where you have been. We came across some cross country runners as well as a number of mountain bikers who were also enjoying the trails. We even walked on part of the northern end of the Bibbulmun Track, which was interesting as we spend a lot of time on the southern end of it. Thanks JacobsCrew2 for all the work that must have gone into placing all these caches for our enjoyment. We enjoyed the walk and also finding them.
We had hoped to do this whole series but in the end the rain got the better of us and we cut back through to the Camel farm picking up the high 30s on the way. It was a good walk though and glad to get out of the house. We'll try again for the ones we missed later.
We found the first few relatively easy but as the bush became more dense the number of possible nooks and crannies increased. The only one we didn't manage to find that we visited was 34 and we suspect it has been moved.
Thanks for maintaining these great caches out in the great out doors

Despite the forecast for heavy rain and destructive winds, we took a gamble and decided to head out for a morning of geocaching. So glad we did! It was overcast and not too hot so a perfect day to be up in Beelu National Park. This was the sixteenth of 17 caches we found in this series today. TFTC, JacobsCrew2
We had planned this walk for a couple weeks but last night the weather forecasters were predicting heavy rainfall and damaging winds so we decided to cancel. This morning the weather didn't look so bad so we decided to go anyway and do the first half of this bush walk. It was a really enjoyable walk on an overcast and cool morning (no storms) and all of the hides except for one were quite easy to find. Thanks for bringing us to this part of the world JacobsCrew2.
A really hot day and just today we decide to do this bush walk.
We were glad when we arrived back at the parking place. Thank you to the owner.

Very enjoyable day walking around the park collecting these caches. Thanks JacobsCrew2 for laying out this series.
(Chwiliwr team catch up log)
I allowed Chwiliwr to go out for a 'walk' so he came up to do this series. Started out cool enough but soon there was a thunderstorm nearby which stopped him for a while until it passed. He walked some more of the series and then there was another storm. Although he did plan to do all of the series the two storms ensured that he didn't have enough time so will have to come back another day to finish them off with me.
Thanks JacobsCrew2 for the cache and series so far.

Started out cool enough but soon there was a thunderstorm nearby which stopped me for a while until it passed and made me wet. I walked some more of the series and then there was another storm which stopped me again and this time saturated me. They were not that close and only got the rain bits not the lightning. Although I did plan to do all of the series the two storms ensured that I didn't have enough time so will have to come back another day to finish them off.
I think the storms were affecting the signals as I didn't find any of the GZ locations to be all that accurate today but I did find the caches in the end.
Thanks JacobsCrew2 for the cache and series so far.

Noticed this series of caches not so long ago and thought it would be a good opportunity to visit the area. Great series; Coords were generally accurate and the hides were good. Thanks very much JacobsCrew. Great weather for January!
A big morning for geocaching. Was really nice to do the series with some others on the side. Unfortunately, I missed 5 of them. Maybe Ill be back on day. They are all really easy but some of them are like 10m away of my gps position!!!! Thanks anyway for the caches as it was a rally great pleasure to do them.

Found it with Ross1957. What a good way to spend the morning, good company, good bushland, exercise, wild flowers, and annoying tricky caches to find, some easy some hard.
Out for a walk with my brother and we decided to do this series. Mostly quick easy finds for this series. TFTC
Quick find here for this one, just realised we put the wrong date in the logs we were a day behind. Thanks JacobsCrew2 for great series

I met up with monf, Me&B, 3 muggles and 2 dogs and headed off into the unknown.
We only planned to do some of the series today and the rest some other times.
Of the ones we did today we had varying successes and had to call a friend a couple of times.
A fun afternoon and look forward to the rest.
My GPS tells me I found it but I don't remember what happened here. It's just a blur:)

A couple of muggle friends asked to come along to "do that thing you do" so I thought a series in the bush will be nice on a Saturday afternoon. We were joined by monf and ROSS1957 and my youngest muggle daughter and the dogs, a nice chatty bunch.
Some of the finds were easy, others elusive but fun was had all around, just one of the muggle muttered "I want to find them all first"
I cant remember which was which so there will be a generic log for all of them, sorry.
We will come back another day for the rest of them. It really is a love area up here.

I had the day off work and thought that this was the perfect day and a great opportunity to tackle this impressive power trail of caches. I arrived just before 6:30am and found that it was still quite dark but after finding the trail off Fern Rd I was on my way. Most caches were easy finds, but I found them much harder as I was working into the 30s of this series. This was a really tricky one. TFTC JacobsCrew
[:(!] Had a few hours to kill and what better way of of filling in those hours than to do a bit of caching and this was one of them, parked the geocar as close as possible to GC54M48 - (Outback Jack Bush Walk 18) and walked the circuit from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was located and it was in hand in a matter of minutes
I like it

I'd wanted to do a bit of a walk this weekend and was tossing up between this series and going gnome hunting. A late invite to a birthday lunch in Kalamunda decided me on this series. I got to the camel farm just after 7 and it was already heaving with mtb'ers. After getting my self sorted I set off and made quick progress on the first few caches. Once I got to the fourth I noticed the info at the beginning of the logbook required to find the final cache. I'd completely forgotten about the final and gathering the info. Thankfully the route I'd planned backtracked towards the ones I'd already done so I decided to pick up the missed info later. All went well with all caches easily found apart from #35. A nice mix of straight forward caches and a few more challenging hides. A great mornings walking, the whole series, not including the final, took just over 3 hours and this included the bit of backtracking i had to do. The weather was great, not to cool and only a few showers. Once I got back to my car i sat down and worked out the location of the final, wasn't sure about the location so re-worked the coords, all good so set off to find the final. Found it with enough time to get home get cleaned up and head out to lunch. Thanks for a great series JacobsCrew2.
