We didn't find this one straight away as we were more concerned with the amount of Hare orchids growing at GZ- they are very small and may go unnoticed and trampled by visitors to this cache, please take care. Thanks for the cache Fernandogirls, we added one trinket.

30-Jan-22
Touched base with Tiger777 this morning to get out of the house for some caching. We were on our way out to Darlington and pulled off Ridge Hill Rd briefly to see if there were caches nearby, when I noticed there was an FTF in Carmel. We quickly changed plans and met up with others in Carmel once we got there.

Cheers Fernandogirls! Big Grin

TFTC! Spent the day out caching with Barnzy12 and krabiBoy. We went to the suburbs of Lesmurdie, Kalamunda and Carmel chasing a number of quick and easy park and grabs, a few
Archived caches, and a few caches that helped fill some DT Grid.

We changed the dynamic up today, Barnzy Drove and i instantly regretted the decision not to take my car however it was due for a service and i was now the navigator. So we picked KrabiBoy up from Bayswater area where he was getting some extra bits added to his car.

We chased a heap of nanos and micro caches in Kalamunda, a few of which seemed to be missing, which was quite frustrating, and we had some DNFs through there. We then avoided other micros in the area and concentrated on some simple park and grabs to get the numbers up for the day.

We then moved our attention to the lesmurdie falls national park and grabbed a few odd caches in there including a nice and simple Earth Cache.

We moved further into lesmurdie area and grabbed a few of the small bunches of caches placed by fernandogirls, which were mostly nice quick grabs. The outback jack series was next which we completed quickly before heading to the car to grab the final in the series, which has been on the radar for far too long.

Thanks to the COs for a Great day out and we can't wait to come back for more!!

TFTC! Spent the day out caching with Cravo10 and krabiBoy. We caches out the suburbs of Lesmurdie, Kalamunda and Carmel chasing a number of quick and easy park and grabs, a few
Archived caches, and a few caches that helped fill some of KrabiBoys DT Grid.

We changed the dynamic up today, with Cravos car in for a service we had to take my car and have me drive and him on the Nav, which is an interesting role reversal from the norm.

We encountered some decent terrain through the area, which really got the heart racing and even had me forgetting to navigate us to the last cache in a small loop we grabbed!!

We moved further into lesmurdie area and grabbed a few of the small bunches of caches placed by fernandogirls, which were mostly nice quick grabs before turning our attention to the last loop I had left of the outback jack series, which we completed quickly before heading to the car to grab the final in the series, which has been on the radar for far too long.

All in all it was a great day, with many tall tales told and war stories shared. A fair bit of piss take on my driving skills and Cravos navigation skills until we decided to restore order by having Cravo drive my new car! Which thankfully came
Back in one piece.

Thanks to the COs for a lovely day out and we can't wait to come back for more!!

07-Jul-16
For a long time, Barnzy12, cravo10 and I have been trying to tee up a day to head out and grab some caches. Finally the planets aligned and we were able to get out and about today.

We headed up the hill to start clearing up some of the caches around Lesmurdie and Carmel.

Barnzy12 has quick eyes sometimes.

TFTC Fernandogirls.

Fernandogirls, I found your cache A BUSH PICNIC on 7/07/2016.

Well the footy is over and we still had some caches to find and a day planned with Me&B and m4yb, so instead of doing the really scary snake area we decided on this little group. Drove the GeoJazz to the parking spot and met up with Me&B headed to this one to complete and anticlockwise circuit.

M4yb spotted this on our approach and she made me look as though I was going to eat it! Nice spot for a.........!

A great camo here and a clever hide TFTC Fernandogirls

Enjoying finding some great caches by this CO on our Carmel walk!
Although I prefer a different type of tucker on picnics, this one deserves a fave for the fun value!
TFTC Fernandosgirls!

This cache helps me cross off another blank on my date placed grid, not too many to go now. I was sprung by a dog walking Muggle so I'm hoping he left the cache alone if he investigated after I left. Left my Pathtag. TFTC Fernandogirls.

15-May-15
Back in the Hills again to find a handful of the apparently infinite amount of caches to improve the stats a little bit.
For the first part of the day I parked the car and walked around in the bush. The challenge was more to find the right track to get to the next hide. The wide variety of hides kept me smiling on the way.
First find of the day, what a funny container! After completing the signing duties a group of mountain bikers nearly ran over me on the narrow track. Well, I'd better be careful here... TFTH

We loved the different containers and the varied hides, we loved this one in particular. Thanks Fernandogirls for your series of caches.

02-Mar-15
I parked close to this one, and then walked over. I spotted the very cool picnic benches as I got closer, but the cache took me a while longer to find as it was well hidden. A very cool spot to find! Thanks for the cache Fernandogirls!

(late log)

Chwiliwr convinced me to go caching so packed a picnic lunch and off we went up into the area surrounding this cache.

I made another quick find here once of an interesting container where Chwiliwr had already looked but not good enough.

Thanks Fernandogirls for the cache.

I had a few hours to kill before the rest of the family woke up so I headed out to the hills just before dawn to see how many caches I could find until I got the hurry-up call to get home. Very peaceful, still morning. Saw many kangaroos, several large lizards and I was almost run over by about a dozen mountain bikers. Such a great area to explore. I somehow lost touch of the track and had to bushbash most of my way to the cache. Once I arrived, it was a tricky and drawn out search, but I did find it after about 20 minutes. I think this one will be the last for the day. TFTC Fernandogirls

15-Feb-15
After both computers went slow for no apparent reason I gave up doing my volunteer work and convinced the Better Half to go caching instead so packed a picnic lunch and off we went up into the area surrounding this cache.

The better half made another quick find here once of an interesting container where I had already looked but not good enough.

Thanks Fernandogirls for the cache.

Decided to pop out and pick up a couple of caches before the weather starts getting really hot. This was a nice quick find after a short walk through a lovely section of bush. It was nice to see the bush here free from rubbish! TFTC!

12-Oct-14
It was a very pleasant trek through the forest to do this series of caches on a lovely spring day. Most were easily spotted, this one was quite exposed so saw it from a distance.
Thanks for the caches and the exercise Fernandogirls.

08-Oct-14
School holidays rapidly coming to a close. Great weather encouraged me to head to the hills; somewhere I don't often visit since I'm not a huge fan of the bush. I made hard work of this one and, once I found the cache, I was embarrassed that it'd taken so long to find. Maybe if I had a pooch to sniff out the cache I would've had more luck. Wink Thanks Fernandogirls.

04-Oct-14
This was the first find of the day for us, it took us a little while to find it though. there were so many lovely wild flowers out it was a lovely day for walking through the bush. Thanks Fernandogirls for bringing us out here. I just realised we put the wrong date on all our finds today a day ahead of ourselves.

19-Sep-14
In the area this afternoon I had a spare 20 minutes or so to try and track down a couple of the local caches.

This one was a quick find once at GZ, had a little giggle when I extracted the cache. Definitely the first type of this container that I have found. Made me even hungrier than I was already.

Giving it a favourite.

I was on a maintenance run to the hills to check on my cache 'What do cachers do all day' and used the excuse to find a few caches whilst up there. This cache was one of them. TFTC.

I decided to come back up this way again this morning to pick a few more caches up and a couple of puzzles caches the geohubby had solved a while ago.. This was my last cache for the morning and after a short walk to GZ the cache was soon found. I had a bit of a laugh when i spotted the container as i was just thinking at the time that i was getting hungry.....TFTC Fernandogirls

'''FTF''' at 3.30pm on a raining afternoon. I was on the other side in Trigg beach when this cache was published. I drove across with rain coming down and in two minds in doing it. As I got closer to GZ. the rain eased off and I got a window to make a dash and run...nice quick find...TFTC
