A geocaching Sunday, what a sunny day! Converting DNF, doing a CITO, some finds and meeting a geocaching couple from Far North Queensland later on. Thanks CO Rainbow Spirit for replacing the hide recently so I can make it a smiley this time.
Located at 7:39am. #1620.Full log to follow. ! Baruch Hashem! TFTC! Much obliged for the placement Rainbow Spirit!Kindest Regards, - Alephroom.
The guard rail had been repaired, and the cache was missing, I replaced it and all is good again, cache on.
Came back for a second look with some more experience and eyes, still could not find.
First DNF of the day. Echoing another geocachers in that the suggested GZ has no such micro hide. Did check the underneath debris to no avail.
Found It!
After a DNF here last year, I came back today for another attempt. It took a lot of searching but eventually I found the little thing!

Took awhile to locate , in the area, Wazza9 made the find, stamped log and replaced. Thanks to CO.
The longer it took to find this cache, the more excited I became / if just finished Rainbow Spirit’s legendary Pot of Gold Power Trail, so when I realised this cache wasn’t in the usual guard rail spots I got excited!
Eventually found the right spot and the cache was soon signed.
I will report that the cache housing appears to have cracked and lots it’s magnet, so after signing the log I replaced the cache in such a way as it wouldn’t need to rely on that anymore - still in the exact same location though!
TFTCRS!

Have to admit this was for the numbers but an important number! It’s 5999 and we have a special one lined up for 6000. Found ourselves unexpectedly in Prestons and RS country this morning so took advantage of a visit to the TWay. A kindly muggle wanted to help us find whatever we had lost but he was gently thanked and denied the opportunity. As already reported, the magnet is gone but the container is well placed and safe. SL TFTC Cheers… Gaztek
Quick find this time, compared when I searched for this missing blighter, thanks RS
A day of searching for Rainbow Spirit caches with Oldmorty. Glad to get a find here after 2 x DNFs up the way. Oldmorty braved the black hole and removed the black cache. TFTC!
Out caching with morty8888 hunting down Rainbow Spiriit caches. After completing the Around the Park series and some caches on the cycleway/walkway beside the motorway we headed for some of RS random caches. Hooray a quick find after a couple of dnf's. TFTC RS
Gotcha baby, and hoo boy I needed a find thank you. I am once again livid at the lack of a bike path incorporated into this big and beautiful and empty transit way.
Came here to come up empty handed. This is our second 2nd DNF today. Looked everywhere we can think of, only found some rubbish and nothing else.
Rainbow Spirit I didn’t find your cache On Guard! on 24/4/21, 5:05 pm. Too good for me.
Good to redeem a DNF. The cache turned out to be black, not silver, and was put back in full view. Having talked to the CO at a recent event, I put it back as he said it should be found. OCW MaxAdventurer TFTC Rainbow Spirit
OCW Mizcupcake and driving through for a quick park and grab due to the terrible weather we are having. Coming through in the evening, plenty of parking close to it and not a muggle in sight. We jumped out and started searching around and started questioning ourselves until MC had her eyes on it and we burst into laughter. The name fits this one perfectly, have an FP for the good laugh. We SL and replaced. TFTC Rain ow Spirit!
Found, after the CO had unexpectedly sent us a hint as payback for numerous PAFs. In an unexpected location. TFTC
7:03am.
Caching sense not firing this morning. Just could not locate this one :/ I shall return.

Tiding things up and finally getting around to logging my DNFs

Did Not Find ‘On Guard!’ (GC54PC1) with EverestHigh, MaxAdventurer & The Bebes.
Today, I teamed up with EverestHigh, MaxAdventurer & The Bebes to hunt for more Hidden Creatures (and caches), as we fast approach the final week of the geocaching June / July 2018 promotion.
We hatched a plan to meet up around lunch time and drive over to Prestons to tackle to ever growing “X of Many” series, plus a number of others along the way. It was a fun afternoon out and about in the beautiful winter sunshine and cached well into darkness to pick up as many as we could.
We were pleased with the result, edging ever closer towards the Dragon and, ultimately, the World Turtle digital souvenirs. With only a few Did Not Finds, and a few we had to skip over, we ended up with more than 40 finds for the afternoon.
A good excuse to venture out in the depths of the inviting urban forest, that is Sydney at this time of year.
Thanks For The Cache Rainbow Spirit.

Looked all the standard places. Then noted cache owner said to make sure it was replaced in the right place so looked elsewhere BINGO.
Log replaced, the cache had suffered some cache creep, please replace as found.
OCW Immy25 and Rodney1210. Rodney made a quick find here. The logbook is full. Signed our initials in tiny gaps. TFTC!

Signed the log and replaced as found. The log is full & I found a space to sign my name. I didn't have a spare log with me. Thanks for the cache Rainbow Spirit

I did stop here once before and u have no idea how we missed this. The fact that we were in a hurry must have come into play! Log is overfull now that I've squeezed our initials in. TFTC
Quick park and easy find. Signed the log with Everlasting. Log full needs replacing. TFTC.
Was able to park in the carpark and then walked the short distance to GZ. This cache was found in the first place that was checked. The log was signed and the cache was replaced as found. Thank you Rainbow Spirit for placing this cache.
Found this one despite there being a semi reclining muggle in his car. Thankfully he was in in serious consultation with his phone. Cache was located quite easily, initials were added to the log and all was put back just where it had been found. Thanks to Rainbow Spirit for an easy to find cache hide.
Had some business over this way with Mrs A in tow. Better do some RS caches and try to redeem myself on some of my DNF's. Mrs A driving the geomobile and me navigating.
I was alert for something sneaky on something so simple. But lo and behold I made the find fairly easily. TFTC Rainbow Spirit.

Is very much, out of sight, for me today.

A great day of caching in Sydney today. The weather was working with me well and my legs were not to sore from yesterday. Came in from Waterfall and via Heathcote and Liverpool ended up in Hoxwell Park and Cecil Hills. This was one of many caches, thanks for placing it! Can't believe I missed this one last time?

15/5/16. 4:40 PM. Cache #3852.
5th of 7 this afternoon in Hinchinbrook.
Last of a run of caches down Banks St, coming here after "The Cutting". Glad to see finally a cache I can park closer to. I walked over to the likely search area. What's the catch here? These are usually low difficulty. Read a few logs - ahhh, it ain't the usual mint tin, that might be what's thrown some off guard.
I felt around and touched web. Yikes could be redbacks here. I got myself into a different position and saw my quarry - wasn't so hard after all. Signed it and replaced, then drove around to Wilson Rd to get "Woof Woof 1". TFTC.

Happy Australia Day. What a great way to spend the morning. Picking up a few cache in the great outdoors of this wonderful land. I hope whatever the CO did today was great.
A tricky little bigger I was looking for something a little bigger. Then someone come and parked in the car park and just sat there, so I just sat there, after about 10 mins but in the heat it felt longer they left. I re checked where I had already check and what was that did I move something. Bingo.

Walked back and forth for a good 15 minutes with _shannet but we couldn't spot this one.
It'd been a while since i'd been out to do some serious caching and with the festive season consuming much of my time I was gratefull for a small window of opportunity to grab a few caches with steeba today. This was one of a plethera of caches we found in south- western Sydney on what was a very very hot day.
A process of ellimination
Thanks

Teamed up with The Rats today for a pre-Christmas day of caching around Western Sydney. It was a scorcher of a day but we managed to find plenty of great hides.
Easier than some of the other ones around here today.

In my country of origin we call this a nano, still wondering why this cannot be selected for the cache size... nevertheless, after waken up some spiders and ants finally could grab the box and place the log entry... Thanks for this one!
#1826 (5 of 10 today)
Another day plundering caches in the south west. The Geowife had a parcel that needed to go this way, so I selflessly offered to cache here today and make the delivery.
In the end I found 10, but unfortunately there were a few DNFs as well.
I could probably have grabbed more, but decided to find the first 4 on a long round walk.
END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION
And arriving here there were parking spaces near GZ. Unexpected.
Could have been a quicker find here. Had the right spot but missed it the first time around. But not the second.
Took a short distance away to complete signing duties, then back for the replace.
