[:(!] Went to Bendigo for the weekend to do a bit of caching in the area, left Wagga at about 1500 and arrived in Bendigo at 1730 on the Friday night, was back in Albury at 1630 on the Sunday to spend the night with my son and his family, after doing O"Keefe Rail Trail and dropping off the bike and picking up a few caches before the "Young & Old Flashmob Event - Bendigo", parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ I met a few fellow cachers, had a chat with some of them, had our photo taken and we were on our separate ways once again.

After attending the event in Wedderburn, this one of the many stops on the way home.

Thanks to Motndarg and Tomstache for organising this event on our trip to Bendigo. It was great to meet some local cachers and to pick up a few hints. Fantastic prizes but I was not lucky this time! The group disappeared as quickly as they came!!

Like a few others will be in Wedderburn for the weekend, would have loved to attend, sorry!

and maybe next time.One of the highlights of our caching calendar if the Wedderburn weekend so we will be out there. I'm sure the 'rat invasion will provide enough enthusiasm and numbers for a good turnout.
Would love to hear all about any nearby interesting, challenging or fun caches. Looking forward to meeting some local Bendigo cachers who may not be able to make the trek to Wedderburn. Unfortunate that the event clashes with what I am sure will be a cracker in Wedderburn.

This looks to be the first time we will miss a Flash Mob event held in Bendigo since their inception.
With two other local(ish) events being held on the same day in nearby Wedderburn, unfortunately we just can't be in two places at the one time, much to our regret.
Good luck with your attendance on the day as one of the previous ones held here had the record for the most logged in attendance for a geocaching Flash Mob event in Victoria, at that point in time.
