In line with the guidelines http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx?expand=1#event , events are to be archived once the event is over. They do not need to be left open as people can log the event when it is archived.

I've archived this one for you.

Rgds,
Matt - Ministro.

It puts it 'on the record', but comments will be archived before the cache goes on-line. Thankyou for the invite and the BBQ 'feed'. It was great to bring the family down to meet so many other cachers and get a heads up of what the OzMega committee are plotting for Alice Springs.

Cheers,

After spending some time with some of the local cachers over the weekend I could not miss this one. I joined forces with The Drovers and we made sure we were early.
As with all events it was great to catch up with the local teams again and have a good chat about all thing geocaching, and some ideas that just sound like fun. (I love the Territory) We even got to have a chat to rAMPant_1, that was a pleasant surprise as his cache was one of the stand out caches we really enjoyed finding.
The food was excellent and cooked to perfection, unfortunately the night quickly passed and we were all soon saying good buy, hopefully not for long.
Many thanks 2Lost-Souls for hosting this event and your fantastic company and knowledge over the weekend.

What a great place for a BBQ and catch with all the geocaching friends from near and far.

The amount of food was awesome and the local teams hospitality for the event and 4 days were very much appreciated by all.

The BBQ location was a treat to walk around and many other groups were enjoying the location as well.
Thanks for all the attendees for their assistance and ideas towards the big target in 2017.
We will probably be back next year with already early plans for a multiple day event in May.

We went along for a BBQ and met up with the Oz Mega committee, who were very impressed with our little town and all our caches. Lots of laughs and fun conversations. Got to meet the team who'd placed the 2,000,000th cache for the first time, too.

Travelling around Australia, and we are now camped at the showgrounds in Alice Springs.

We had been looking forward to this event all day, as it was being held at a beautiful historical
location. Many thank for putting this event on, and well done to the cooks, 2Lost-Souls.
