Logs
Log is indeed quite wet, as the ziplock bag inside the container is torn. Logging is still possible with a good pen. TFTC
Found easily but have to report that the log is very wet and probably needs replacing
Found it at last, had a couple of visits over the last day as I'm staying next door, but managed to convert the blue face into a smiley cheers
Not too hard, but definitely weird being so close to a car parked on what was presumably private property! Thanks for the cache
I'm parked at the nearby DOC area by the visitors center and headed out for a couple of caches this afternoon. Nice and quiet up here today, and a quick find, TFTC
TFTC. Took a while to find and then discovered I had lost my pen somewhere on the walk here. Will be back again one day to sign the log.
4-week family trip through NZ - Find #124!Our accommodation is only 35 meters away from this cache, so I _had_ to give it a try . When approaching GZ, I saw a promising spot which could match the hint. However, to me it looked as if the spot were on private property [B)]. In the end, I gave it a go, and indeed found the cache there.TFTC!
Unfortunately I was staying literally 20mtrs away from gz, looked under the 'stones' but I couldn't see anything, maybe need to go to Specsavers
Went a stroll this evening to grab a few more of the local caches. No joy last night, a quick find today. TFTC
Felt a little uncomfortable searching around here with the GPS failing to settle on anything, but letting go of the shame and sticking my hand everywhere eventually turned up a cache. Wonderful place to be, TFTC
Last cache found in Arthurs Pass, as leaving today for Christchurch
I would like to write this was a quick find, but sadly no, it was a tricky.
It felt like as was on private property, when I found the water meter and pole knew I was close, and I was.
So happy to make the find.
Who knew so many homes where tucked away on these side streets.
Thanks for the hide TwoSharpe

Hint helped here and found all safe and dry with coconuts3 while caching in the area. TFTH. I envy you the fun times you would have had here in this spot.
What a great place to come to and have fun. Out with busy paws enjoying caching in the area. Thanks for the cache TwoSharpe.
We are staying in the Alpine Motel nearby so I skipped my cuppa after checking in to get the nearby caches before dark. This one has the dampish smell of one that has been out for a while but the paper is still quite dry. Thanks for placing.
Found the other caches in the area, but this one proved elusive, there are residents around here and the GPS seemed to want me to head in that direction, but after doing some tentative looking and worried about muggles asking questions I decided to go and do some of the walks around Arthurs Pass.
Thanks for the cache Twosharpe and bringing me up here. A lot more houses than can be seen if you are just driving through. Took us a little bit to sort out where the cache was but quickly found once we were there. Heading west for some bike riding and caching
Tried for at least half an hour. No luck. Muggles must have thought I was an oddball.
Out for a day's caching with BaldEd today visting caches mainly around Arthurs Pass.
It took a little while to locate this one.
Cheers for the cache.

Took a Bit to find but left it to the fabulous IceBerguson and he had cache in hand in no time tftc
Our NZ branch (daughter on a school term abroad) discovered this cache with her host family. TFTC!
I too have spent nights at this hut, and the one over the road as well as some at the other end of the village.
Cheers and thanks,

We took quite a while to find this cache. In fact technically, we didn't find it. Whilst searching, we met the lady from the adjacent house, who was aware of geocaching, but not of this particular cache. Our GPS was pointing into her place, so although we wouldn't normally have done so, we wandered up her drive, and she wandered down a little, and found the cache for us. Clearly the proper approach should be from the road, and the hiding place is visible from it. At least she now knows if she sees people acting suspiciously in front of her property. TFTC
GPS had me going this way and that a bit but there was no mistaking I found the right place in the end. TFTC # 13,848
It pays to Insert correct coords. Was a little suspicious when I was still 74 m away. Checked re programmed and found. Tftc
It took us some minutes because the coordinates on our phone jumped a bit. The moment we dedicated to go back we found it. TFTC!

Although still daylight it was not bright and it was a mission to get the car close to GZ and turned around. There wasn't a soul to be seen so we could pick our way gently. The coords were spot on here. Thank you TwoSharpe
This was one of the very few caches we ventured off the state highway for. Hazedarus did the donkey work here while I was on the phone, making use of one of the rare opportunities along this road.
Thank you TwoSharpe.
Thank you TwoSharpe.
I scored a free night's accommodation in Arthur's Pass for the Saturday, perfect for caching and walking!! Great place to explore, and a well timed find of the cache - signed and replaced just as a family appeared from around the corner, taking it up the hill slowly, so I would have been there for some time! Now i will have to find the sister at some stage! TFTC!!
Found by cab165 on our not-running camping trip. Have almost closed out AP village, which is much harder to do now than it was in 2011 when I got the two caches that were here...
Today's mission was a drive from Christchurch to Greymouth on my way home to Nelson. Trying to find 'a few' caches along the way. It's been ages since I travelled this route so there were actually heaps of caches to find and at the end of the day my tally was 81. Biggest cache day for me for a while. All good here. Cache found in the first place I checked. TFTC, Biggles.
Nice digs for some up here, taking the Kiwi bach to the next level! I didn't know there were so many bachs hidden up here. Cheers
Stopped here on the way to the West Coast this afternoon. A lot of nearby trees have been cut down and I was close to giving up but then I spotted the tell-tale signs of a cache a short distance away. All in good condition; signed log , TFTC!
TG and I headed out for a Mad Mission. The plan was to head for the hills, actually a Pass. But we headed out all rugged up. There were a few possible FTFs to go for and as we always say "In for a penny...". Seemed to take us ages to get here tonight. Maybe too much to catch up on. We had great night out. There was a few flakes falling. The moon was out and it was -2 degrees in Arthurs Pass. We found icicles and hoar frost in the shady areas. It was about 300km round trip for the night too. Great fun.
Quick walk up the hill for this find.
Thanks for the cache TwoSharpe.

It took a bit to find. Signs that two large trees had been recently cut down right on the GZ meant I had convinced my self the cache was gone. Found it in the end. TFTH.
On West Coast travels for a wee family holiday. Heading for home after west coast travels and an overnight tramp up to Carroll Hut....stopped for the cache and to find some lunch. Cheers!
Its a 3 week expedition, with The Seagnoid and Zara, round the South Island. Rakiura Walkway, my objective, is bagged, so its homeward bound the long way round. Its day 21 of our epic journey - Hokitika to Christchurch today.
No its not that, but it is here. Now tagged. Cheers

A quick find on the way over to Christchurch via Arthurs Pass, Thanks for the placement.
TFTC. Nice wee road to have a poke around.
Thanks TwoSharpe for placing the cache.

Together with Fenz i had the pleasure to visit New Zealand. We were traveling around for quite some time and thought: Why not combine that with some geocaching! That doubled the fun and we found a lot nice places we wouldnt have, if we werent looking for the boxes invisible to the other tourists. For details on our cache finds see the logs of Fenz. We want to thank all the owners for their effort, the nice hides and the fun we had on our journey! Definitely gonna come back to you Kiwis, greetings from the other end of the world, keep it on!

Today, we flew into Christchurch and decided to skip our pre-booked stay there but instead to transfer directly to our next destination at Arthur's Pass.
After dinner, in spite of the pouring rain, we decided to go for an easy find at 200m from our cabin. Unfortunately, it took us 20 minutes to locate the cache, as we went into the small path leading to the clubhouse, where the GPS has sent us around in circles and only after we decided to give up, we found the cache at the main path on 22m NE from what was supposed to be GZ, according to our GPS. I assume that this deviation has to be blamed to the thick layer of clouds and the heavy rain.

First find this trip to the pass. Not very far from our son and soon to be daughter-in-law's batch.
Found while staying in Arthur's Pass for 2 days. Easy find but we soon realised we had no pen! Luckily our house was only one street away so quickly grabbed it and signed the log. TFTC.
A quick and easy find. Have not done the sister cache yet (we think), so maybe on the way back to Christchurch. Quick find, TFTC
Found this one after taking a bit of a roundabout route to it, but GPS pointed us in the right direction once we got near to gz. TFTC
On our way to Arthur's Pass we wanted to grab a geocache and we decided for this one. Thanks to my friend it was an easy find and even the sandflies could not stop us. Thank you very much & greetings from Germany!
Found with monson.clan and lmj1974 on our way home from the coast. Only had time for one in this area- and this was it. thanks for the fun
