We absolutely love visiting the Old Bottlebutt how incredible special to have this tree looked after and persevered. A massive favourite point from me. Thank you
TftcA nice afternoon to sit at the big tree. I had to wait for a couple of muggles to go. The cache was an easy find.
Aussie Kids Adventure camps was here today. Great spot!We thought this was a great spot to leave our possum we traded from another cache
On the hunting trail with Liz & Bruce on 2023 Christmas adventure. Awesome tree! Quick find here. Another great day for caching. TFTC SquiresSquire
Out caching with Wollaston and stopped for this cache and were rewarded with a find. Thanks for arranging and enhancing our enjoyment of the area what a beautiful location. Fav point alloc
Found it the other day and I thought I logged it but my reception must of dropped out.Sufficiently feed the local mosquito population, and the geo dog sniffed out a baby goanna !TFTC
We have driven along Bago Road many times, generally with the caravan in tow, and most times we say that we need to drive in and see "Old Bottlebutt". This was the day, the weather had been good so we thought the road would be dry, the cache was found very quickly after taking a few photos. We decided to turn left when we were leaving and take the long way back to Bago Road, the road was nowhere near as good as the road in but we still enjoyed the drive. Thanks for the hide SquiresSquire.
Found it!!! Will need a pen etc but easy find and hopefully people will look after it
Found with Portstevo after waiting for several muggles to move on. Tftc, got some great pics!
Rain meant I wasn't getting on my hands and knees to look for this, especially after so many DNFs.
But thanks for bringing us here!

Found with nissan65. Thanku for placing this cache for our enjoyment. Log wet but have pic if required
Great spot for a bit of family exercise and nature time during lockdown. Cache needs maintenance, have messaged owner.
Unable to attend currently to replace log and container due to current COVID LGA Restrictions. Once restrictions ease and I am able to move between LGAs maintenance will be completed
Feeling pretty silly, couldn’t find it, hoping it was just because all of the leaf litter!
Co-ords seemed a bit off but had it in hand. Unfortunately unable to write on the log as saturated secondary to container not sealing well.
I went with Fitzy_1965 for a long weekend drive up the east coast to Port Macquarie caching along the way and visiting several new towns and villages. A highlight was a get together with Pprass & Kat after a few mega 4wd climbs in the afternoon. Day 3 took us back into the hills west of the coast from Pt Macquarie. One too many, but it was fun. A little caching around the outskirts of Pt Macquarie before finishing the day in the Port caravan park. Very civilised.
This was another huge tree, a bit more popular than the Grandis tree, people all over the place.
Thanks for the cache SquiresSquire

22,001. Found during an epic trip up to Port Macquarie and back with albida33 over a 4 day weekend. Often signed as F65 A33. After heading up to Taree from Goulburn on Friday, we cached up to and reached Port Macquarie yesterday.
Day 3 of our North Coast Adventure, and after slumming it in a Hotel last night (the local Showgrounds and Caravan Parks were not taking anyone who was not self contained. We were even asked if we had bathrooms after I said we were in Swags?????) we were up early for another days caching fun around the Port Macquarie and Wauchope region. We were especially keen to do the Forest Road series today, plus and Challenge Caches which we might be able to get. This was the next find of the day. Wow - just Wow ! Amazing place for a cache. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then we headed off to the next one.
Thanks SquiresSquire & Lonely RA !!

I could think of a few people who might be called Old Bottle Butt, but seriously folks, this tree is quite impressive. Final day with Marcus who brought us here for a photo opportunity. The cache was too wet to sign, so photo to the co will have to do.

Found this nice Cache together with Dino and Flintstones. Thank you for putting it out and maintaining it SquiresSquire & Lonely RA.
On the way down from Coffs Harbour with the Family and Betty we were looking to do a little hike somewhere along the way and ended up choosing here on the fly. Betty got almost stuck with her car folling google to approach from the other side of the 'river' to this reststop. But once all hiking and caches was done we managed to safely turn and get her out again. More trouble than expected these two caches but also very nice here and happy to have com here
After some food the short walk brought us to some nice old tree. Surprisingly were were not the only once doing the walk in this short period. Always nice to awe at such majestic trees.

This was an easy find, it being dark at 17:16 in the afternoon. There were another couple here but they did not hang long. Lucky i brought the torch. 9/13 for the day
Found with GeoIan and Wombat101. Thank you for taking me to look at this amazing tree.
Was getting dark after trying to locate the nearby cache. TFTC

What a whopper of a tree TFTF no pen in cache, found a broken pencil used the lead
What a beautiful big tree! Contents of container a little damp which made signing the log a little hard. TFTC
Thanks for cache on way a tree has fallen over track so do need to go over it thanks for the cache
Found it. A quick find. Enjoying the outdoors after rain thought geocaching hubby and I would take a look at the “Old Blackbutt”. What a beauty.
What an amazing tree! I spent quite a bit of time here soaking up the serenity and pretending that I’m not an adult with a job and a mortgage and responsibilities. Perhaps I will never leave... Thanks for placing a cache here!
I myself took the walk to Old Bottlebutt as my husband had hurt his foot and was unable to make the walk. I took tons of photos of it before finally looking for the cache container. I found 2, one with a green lid and one without a lid. I put all the stuff into the container with the green lid and rehid. I took out some icky stuff and CITO'd it back at the car park. We were visiting Australia for 2 months from our home on the west coast of Canada. TFTH
Found 2 caches! The replacement cache and a previous one that didn’t have a lid. Trackable taken.
As we read in the previous logs the cache need some maintenance, we took the liberty of placing a new plastic container. Hope the CO is fine with this.
Thanks for guiding us to this impressive tree, redgecco

It may have been where we looked. It might need some maintenance??? Nearly lost a small child in the process.
Was good fun trying to find this with the gps hunting everywhere. Managed to get it, and cramping my shoulder in the process. Cache needs a new plastic bag and a new lid.
this was a cache of two parts, firstly finding it, then getting it out. non of us could reach it random tott were tried untill we were able to finally touch it. When we finally landed it there was no lid so may need checking. we tried to replace where it wouldn't get wet, Making a last run to collect caches to get the turtle..Cached with Bobbiesgirl and logs may have been signed BO for the two teams . 3495 so far for us. Thanks for placing this cache SquiresSquire, without cachers like you we wouldn't have a hobby. Signed log. took nothing, left nothing.
On a caching expedition with ozglory who were on a mission to claim the elusive Turtle. Lovely walk in, and what a magnificent tree it is. Then the fun began. We hunted high and low and finally mrs. oz says "I can see it" Mr oz (who is 6'3" btw) proceeds to stretch as far as he can and just managed to retrieve it. What an effort. Great hide.
A big day of caching today. This one took ages to find. i checked the structure many times. i was just about to give up when i managed to get a spy a bit of green lid. Had to get down and stretch my arms and just managed to make the grab. For future finders its very well hidden and a lot harder to get to then the DT ratings suggest. TFTC
IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE
WE think someone might of taken it
We looked everywhere
but always remember to LOVE POTATOES
