Nice find. On the way here I ran by someone who lost their dog, and watched them be reunited. Lovely. TFTC
Bit of a mission to get to since there was a swooping magpie along the trail but didnt let it deter me. Cords were out a bit but quick find in the obvious spot. TFTC
Checked the obvious trees after an orienteering run but no luck finding anything resembling a cache
Found! Log in good nick and a pretty little quiet location. Signed under the watchful eye in the sky. Replaced as foundTFTC!
Found on the second attempt, we were looking at the wrong trees last round. TFTC (forgot our pen whoops)
#8. Both the name and hint live up to their names, I aspire to hide geocaches like this one. Awesome! TFTC!
GPS had me about 14m away but a short search with the cache name in mind had it in hand. Signed and replaced with a bit of natural camo as it was exposed. TFTC
The Cockburn Crew are on tour at the Capital Geobash in Canberra - travelling from Perth to Sydney, Canberra, Sydney and finally back to Perth.Today was day 8. We completed a huge number of trails, challenges, whereigos, traditional, multis, earthcaches, labs, virtuals and puzzles. It really was a great day for variety. We enjoyed caching in territory we havent been before. Weve filled our boots with some rare DTs and DTTs and generally had a great time. Thanks to the COs for a great day and event. Logs signed as part of team WA/WAC (WA Crew)
Exciting times over the next couple of weeks as we takeoff for the Capital GeoBash in Canberra! Its going to be a flood of Sandgropers over east, with a host of West Aussies making the trek east for the event. Im travelling with fellow Cockburn Crew members Leg5 and Barnzy12, starting in Sydney and hitting the road to Canberra, before returning back to Sydney. Honourary mention to our fellow member, Cravo10, who couldnt make it after recently introducing a new geocacher to the world the week prior. Once in Canberra, the agenda is set, well team up with a host of Western Australians to conquer caches. Collectively, were hoping to make it the biggest ever weekend for cache finding. Following the event, the journey continues back to Sydney, with a mission to clean up caches and new Local Government Areas (LGAs), ensuring no cache is left unturned in this epic geocaching adventure. Something tells me that well need a holiday after this, well, holiday. All logs have been signed as WAC to save space, abbreviation for Western Australia Crew. Cheers coastblue! Join us in Augusta, in Western Australias South West, for WA Goes Big 2024 (GCAGV8Y) on Friday 20 to Sunday 22 September. Log your will attend now!

Found it thanks.Starting to get dark now, so that will have to be my last one for today.
Great find, had to go around to get in. Hood condition. Gps goes a bit crazy due to the trees. Stay safe
GPS was all over the place probably due to the tree cover and clouds. Eventually found it by looking at the most obvious spot. Didnt't have pen or pencil to mark, but took a photo of the log. TFTC!
An abundance of loose poodles (1) roaming around in the reserve.. Hard to look inconspicuous with a sloppering dog on your knee.
Found old log rolled up in an adjacent crack, added to container for sentimental reasons.

Cache replaced. Please be careful of the spiders. And cover well with natural camouflage.
Any chance this cache could be checked. It sounds like their is no container protecting the logbook, and we've had a LOT of rain since someone logged the note "No container just logs. If it rains this will be destroyed."
The last several finders have reported that the cache is just paper only with no container, and finds have stopped. I think the CO needs to check to see if the cache is still there and/or provide it with a proper container to protect the log from the elements. Thanks and cheers
Well I'd seen the several logs saying the cache was paper log only, and noted the sudden drop-off of finds since Sept/Oct last year, but seeing as I was nearby it was only 'a walk in the park' to come here. I'm pretty sure I found the right tree (it stands out ) and had a good crack at finding the cache - knowing that there might only be some paper-mache to be found - but had no luck at all. It may be that the log is still there somewhere, but I'll see if I can add a 'needs maintenance' flag, as it appears that the log had been missing an actual container for some time. Nice park! Cheers
Found log paper but no container. Recognised the area as we have orienteered around this area.

A nice Covid safe walk in my local LGA. After finding the nearby 'The Loner' it was a short walk to the tree where it did not take long to find the cache.
TFTC.

If only I had a mint tin, could have donated it. Found during the five k Lockdown Project TFTC
Found it! Nice lockdown exercise morning with the kids. No container though, just the log.
Returned with Oldmorty to the Carlingford area to tidy up unfinished business. Wandered down from the senior citizens club to this delightful park. Compass led us to the tree and could see what we came fro. TFTC!
OCW morty8888 on a perfect day for caching. After walking through some beautiful old trees we soon found the right tree, with morty8888 claiming the prize.

Out watching some soccer with Lyn999 and decided to check if there were any nearby caches. Well of course there were so when half time came, away we went. This one was a welcome and straightforward find. TNLN SL TFTC.
Gps jumper around a bit, then I spotted a likely hiding place, sure enough there it was. TFTC
Second cache on our iso exercise yesterday. Posted a photo to our faraway friends Worsley Whanau who were thrilled with the memory and happy to know it’s still going! Thanks CoastBlue for adopting it ️
Picked up while on COVID exercise walk today. Thanks for this - only one out of 4 I got today.
A nice walk through this park on a Sunday afternoon. What a great tree for a hide. Lots of places to tuck in a container. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Found it, but dropped my pen in the park somewhere if someone could write my name in that would be awesome. Just put 19.9.19 Alex. Thanks
It was quite easy indeed but I agree, it is a super cool spot! Sneaky! Tftc Krystov
Just one cache today.
With a couple of hours to spare i headed up this way to see if i could grab a cache before heading back to an appointment this afternoon.
I parked on Farnell Ave and walked up to the enclosed park.
A lovely shaded spot away from the roads for a cache.
With no muggles around I was able to find the cache quickly and soon had things signed and replaced.
The container is in good condition and the log is dry.
Thanks.
